A wee bit of scottish humor Ye Cana Fool a Scottish Caddy !

During his golfing vacation at Martha's    Vineyard - President Obama
had been slicing off the tee on every hole.

He asked his Scottish caddy if he had noticed any obvious reasons
for his poor tee shots, to which the caddy replied:

"Aye, there's a    piece of shyt on the end of yer driver. "
The President picked up his driver and    cleaned the club face, at
which point the caddy said:

The Marines ..... always faithful, always dependable, always ready, and always there for you.

The Marines ..... always faithful, always dependable, always ready, and always there for you.

AFTER FLIGHT 77 HIT THE PENTAGON ON 9/11, THE FOLLOWING HAPPENED
A chaplain, who happened to be assigned to the Pentagon, told of an
incident that happened right after Flight 77 hit the Pentagon on 9/11.

A daycare facility inside the Pentagon had many children, including
infants who were in heavy cribs. The daycare supervisor, looking at
all the children they needed to evacuate, was in a panic over what
they could do.

There were many children, mostly toddlers, as well as the infants that
would need to be taken out with the cribs. There was no time to try to
bundle them into carriers and strollers.

Just then a young Marine came running into the center and asked what
they needed. After hearing what the center director was trying to do,
he ran back out into the hallway and disappeared. The director
thought, "Well, here we are, on our own."

About 2 minutes later, that Marine returned with 40 other Marines in
tow. Each of them grabbed a crib with a child, and the rest started
gathering up toddlers.

The director and her staff then helped them take all the children out
of the center and down toward the park near the Potomac.

Once they got about 3/4 of a mile outside the building, the Marines
stopped in the park, and then did a fabulous thing - they formed a
circle with the cribs, which were quite sturdy and heavy, like the
covered wagons in the Old West.

Inside this circle of cribs, they put the toddlers, to keep them from
wandering off. Outside this circle were the 40 Marines, forming a
perimeter around the children and waiting for instructions. There they
remained until the parents could be notified and come get their
children.

The chaplain then said, "I don't think any of us saw nor heard of this
on any of the news stories of the day. It was an incredible story of
our men there.” There wasn't a dry eye in the room.

The thought of those Marines and what they did and how fast they
reacted; could we expect any less from them? It was one of the most
touching stories from the Pentagon.

It's the Military, not the politicians that ensure our right to life,
liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It's the Military who salutes
the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by
the flag.

If you care to offer the smallest token of recognition and
appreciation for the military, please pass this on and pray for our
men and women, who have served and are currently serving our country,
and pray for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.

Intruder Got Deep Into White House, Official Says...

BREAKING NEWSMonday, September 29, 2014 4:55 PM EDT
Intruder Got Deep Into White House, Official Says
A man who jumped the White House fence this month made it far deeper into the president’s home than previously disclosed, overpowering a female Secret Service agent inside the North Portico entrance and running through the East Room before he was tackled, according to a congressional official familiar with the details of the incident.
The man, Omar J. Gonzalez, was finally stopped as he tried to enter the Green Room, the official said. Earlier, Secret Service officials had said Mr. Gonzalez, 42, had only made it steps inside the North Portico after running through the front door.
The new development, first reported by The Washington Post, will create an explosive hearing on Tuesday when a bipartisan panel of lawmakers intends to grill Julia Pierson, the director of the Secret Service, about whether a lax and undisciplined culture inside the long-heralded agency has badly eroded its ability to protect the president and his family, several members of Congress said Monday.

OH NO....SNOW, SNOW, SNOW, SNOW! No snow in Ft Myers, FL and the only ice is in your glass!

What Does The Persimmon Lady Say About Winter 2015?
Around this time each year, Melissa Bunker of Star, North Carolina (AKA, “The Persimmon Lady”), sends us her winter prediction based on opening up some persimmon seeds. Traditional lore is that if the seeds are shaped like forks, winter will be mild; if they are shaped like spoons, there will be a lot of snow; and if they are shaped like knives, winter will be bitingly cold.
Here’s what Melissa had to say:
Here is the 2014/15 persimmon readout. Never have seen all spoons before!!! Tell the readers to prep for lots of snow

500 new jobs!

This week we announced that GE Oil & Gas will be opening a new advanced manufacturing facility in Jacksonville. This project will create at least 500 new jobs over the next three years, which is great news for Jacksonville families.

Because we eliminated the sales tax on manufacturing equipment, more companies like GE Oil & Gas are choosing Florida to grow their businesses. Our business-friendly policies are working and more than 640,000 private-sector jobs have been created since December 2010. Let’s keep working to grow businesses in our state and create an opportunity economy for generations to come.

MOORE, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say a man suspected of beheading a woman at a food processing plant in suburban Oklahoma City had been fired.

Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis said Friday that the suspect, who has not been charged, had been fired from Vaughan Foods.

Lewis said the man entered the plant and stabbed 54-year-old Colleen Hufford, severing her head. Lewis said the man then started to stab 43-year-old Traci Johnson.

Vaughan Foods owner and reserve county officer Mark Vaughan stopped the assault by shooting the suspect. The suspect and Johnson were taken to the hospital and Lewis said they are in stable condition.

Lewis says Moore police have asked the FBI to aid in the investigation and look into the suspect’s background.

Leonardo DiCaprio: Since when did court jesters and entertainers become experts on climate change?

ldDiCaprio – looking like a communist leader: another “useful idiot” pushing the socialist agenda!

Leonardo DiCaprio flew to New York on his private jet to address the corrupt world leaders during during the Climate Summit at the United Nations. Standing in the very spot where the President of the United States delivered his address, DiCaprio was introduced to the general assembly as a “Messenger of Peace.”

“We need to put a price tag on carbon emissions and eliminate government subsidies for oil, coal and gas companies,” said DiCaprio, whose message appears to be more a product of Hollywood script doctors rather than someone who was actually knowledgeable  about the science and economics of climate change.

Court Jesters …

Since when did we fete and listen to the court jesters whose job is to read the words written by others and delivered with a feigned sincereity that marks the actor’s craft?

The hypocrisy of this goof reminds me of a scene where DiCaprio pulls up in a Prius and gets on a private jet! Did anyone else note that it appears that DiCaprio attended the World Cup events and stayed on a Saudi-owned yacht.

Of course, the Arabs have every reason to fear “fracking” – reducing the world’s dependence on Arab oil while promoting American energy independence. Perhaps why Arab money is flowing into Hollywood to finance anti-fracking and other environmental film projects.

Matt Damon’s Anti-Fracking Movie Financed by Oil-Rich Arab Nation

A new film starring Matt Damon presents American oil and natural gas producers as money-grubbing villains purportedly poisoning rural American towns. It is therefore of particular note that it is financed in part by the royal family of the oil-rich United Arab Emirates.

The creators of Promised Land have gone to absurd lengths to vilify oil and gas companies, as Scribe’s Michael Sandoval noted Wednesday. Since recent events have demonstrated the relative environmental soundness of hydraulic fracturing – a technique for extracting oil and gas from shale formations – Promised Land’s script has been altered to make doom-saying environmentalists the tools of oil companies attempting to discredit legitimate “fracking” concerns.

While left-leaning Hollywood often targets supposed environmental evildoers, Promised Land was also produced “in association with” Image Media Abu Dhabi, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media, according to the preview’s list of credits. A spokesperson with DDA Public Relations, which runs PR for Participant Media, the company that developed the film fund backing Promised Land, confirmed that AD Media is a financier. The company is wholly owned by the government of the UAE. <Source>

Bottom line …

Using celebrities to raise awareness and funding is a common practice among charities and special interests. Unfortunately, many apathetic Americans confuse and conflate celebrity with superior knowledge – unmindful of the scripted nature of their performance, the special effects that make them seem super-human – and confuse their carefully crafted characters and personas with the star’s personal reality.

Most celebrities are narcissistic, self-absorbed, and insecure shells that do one thing really well – act as if they were someone else. In real life, they are surrounded by a team whose continuing income depends on the celebrity’s relationship with their audience. These people tell the celebrity of their own greatness and ignore any demons – such as drug use – to keep the money flowing. A similar scenario, but on a smaller and muted scale, affects politicians. Many of whom are charismatic and star-like when they read the TelePrompTered words of others with sincerity and emotion.

Which brings us to the scariest thing know by all celebrities … they know that a star is a star as long as there isn’t a bigger star in the room.

It is time we stop listening to the clowns and court jesters – to seriously consider the work of serious men and women who actually know what they are talking about and have no need of a TelePrompTer.

OBAMA AT THE UNITED NATIONS: A DELUSIONAL LIAR PUTTING AMERICA AT RISK?

Posted: 24 Sep 2014 10:15 PM PDT

lob

Obama’s Kabuki Theatre …

Obama has been sold to America as a brilliant, articulate man whose expertise includes constitutional law and a working knowledge of Islam. Unfortunately, what we have seen is a jumped-up telegenic community organizer who can deliver a TelePrompTer speech with the stagecraft and faux insincerity of the world’s best actors.

Pretty much why the President’s speech at the United Nations is troubling.

  1. Obama treats the United Nation with a respect it does not deserve as it is little more than a collection of corrupt individuals seeking to feather their own nests and petty little fiefdoms. A bureaucracy that is trying to advance its own agenda by security the ability to promulgate rules and regulations with the force of international law, achieve permanent funding without regard to the contributions of the individual nations, and to become a one-world government. There is proof that the United Nations has failed to stop genocide and promoted falsehoods to secure media attention and generate funding. Structurally, the bad guys outnumber the good guys and it becomes nonsensical to allow dictators with significant human rights violations to chair a human rights committee.
  2. Obama’s worldview appears to be one of collectivized socialism, where the United States must seek approval from the international community – if something like that actually exists – before protecting America from its enemies, both foreign and domestic. Obama does not regard America as the preeminent country, a superpower for good; but rather a nation whose colonial activities have brought death, destruction, and despair to most of the world. He is not a patriotic man with pride in his country; but a socialist—if not communist – who believes that a ruling elite must govern the masses for the benefit of collective society. Including saving the planet from a non-existent threat: global warming.
  3. Obama’s view of foreign affairs is naïve, apparently believing that his words and righteous conviction is enough to sway other nations to abandon the immediate economic, military, and social interests and freely join him in righting the perceived wrongs of the world – again, according to his narcissistic world view.
  4. With over 100 passages in the Qur’an detailing how the faithful must spread the religion of Islam and vanquish the unbelievers, Obama overlooks the biblical barbarity and sees Islam in a false light – the way he would wish it to be.
  5. Obama’s coalition is not a coalition of the willing, they are a coalition of the corrupt. First, in order to get Sunni Arabs in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and elsewhere to sign-on to the symbolic “night flight,” Obama sort of manufactured a paper tiger called the “Khorasan Group,” named after the region in Iran where they were for a number of years, to provide cover for our “friends” so they could claim to their people they were fighting Iranian Shia in Syria – not their cousins who joined the Sunni ISIS. Second, there is substantial respect in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and elsewhere for what ISIS has accomplished. In fact, funding and manpower covertly flow from our allies to ISIS without American comment or intervention.
  6. President Obama ordered a night strike in Syria – which minimized terrorist casualties in command and control, training, and weapons depots as only guards and janitors roamed the halls. If he was serious, he would have struck during the daylight hours and paved the street with dead terrorists.

Excerpts from Obama’s United Nations speech … [my comments in blue italics]

Remarks by President Obama in Address to the United Nations General Assembly
United Nations General Assembly Hall -- New York City, New York

PRESIDENT OBAMA:  Mr. President, Mr. Secretary General, fellow delegates, ladies and gentlemen:  We come together at a crossroads between war and peace; between disorder and integration; between fear and hope.

[We come to lie in this international forum so that our respective speeches will be shown to our own people and make us look powerful, righteous, and connected with the so-called international community.]

<snip>

And yet there is a pervasive unease in our world -- a sense that the very forces that have brought us together have created new dangers and made it difficult for any single nation to insulate itself from global forces.  As we gather here, an outbreak of Ebola overwhelms public health systems in West Africa and threatens to move rapidly across borders.  Russian aggression in Europe recalls the days when large nations trampled small ones in pursuit of territorial ambition.  The brutality of terrorists in Syria and Iraq forces us to look into the heart of darkness.

[What? He left out global warming – oh well, that’s another speech for another day.]

Each of these problems demands urgent attention.  But they are also symptoms of a broader problem -- the failure of our international system to keep pace with an interconnected world. We, collectively, have not invested adequately in the public health capacity of developing countries. Too often, we have failed to enforce international norms when it’s inconvenient to do so.  And we have not confronted forcefully enough the intolerance, sectarianism, and hopelessness that feeds violent extremism in too many parts of the globe.

[Pardon me, but President Obama sounds like a community organizer touting international socialism and communism to a majority of people who do not wish America well.]

Fellow delegates, we come together as united nations with a choice to make.  We can renew the international system that has enabled so much progress, or we can allow ourselves to be pulled back by an undertow of instability.  We can reaffirm our collective responsibility to confront global problems, or be swamped by more and more outbreaks of instability.  And for America, the choice is clear:  We choose hope over fear.  We see the future not as something out of our control, but as something we can shape for the better through concerted and collective effort.  We reject fatalism or cynicism when it comes to human affairs.  We choose to work for the world as it should be, as our children deserve it to be.

[Is this Obama’s campaign speech to become the next Secretary General of the United Nations? He hates America – check. He believes in international socialism – check. He has no problem with confronting evil and turning a blind eye or engaging in a symbolic gesture – check. Perfect! Now complete weakening America and you have a shot!]

There is much that must be done to meet the test of this moment.  But today I’d like to focus on two defining questions at the root of so many of our challenges -- whether the nations here today will be able to renew the purpose of the UN’s founding; and whether we will come together to reject the cancer of violent extremism.

<snip>

I have made it clear that America will not base our entire foreign policy on reacting to terrorism.

Instead, we’ve waged a focused campaign against al Qaeda and its associated forces -- taking out their leaders, denying them the safe havens they rely on.

At the same time, we have reaffirmed again and again that the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam.  Islam teaches peace.  Muslims the world over aspire to live with dignity and a sense of justice.

[Here President Obama is delusional. History proves him wrong because Islam has never been a religion of peace, always seeking expansion and rooting out the unfaithful. And, when not engaged with killing or converting the unfaithful, they are preoccupied with killing those who the believe are apostates. Since the 6th Century, Islam has not been associated with peace, diversity, and tolerance for other cultures, religions, or ideas. There is no separation between Islam the church and Islam the governing state.]

And when it comes to America and Islam, there is no us and them, there is only us -- because millions of Muslim Americans are part of the fabric of our country.

[This is utter ignorance – those who practice Islam do not tend to assimilate into the broader community, but self-segregate until they reach numbers required to wield political influence. And, when critical mass is achieved, the demand adherence to Sharia law that has little or no tolerance for religious free speech, diversity, and the recognition of competing cultures.]

So we reject any suggestion of a clash of civilizations. Belief in permanent religious war is the misguided refuge of extremists who cannot build or create anything, and therefore peddle only fanaticism and hate

[Call it what you may, Islam presents an existential threat to all other religions, cultures, and peoples as long as people use the Qur’an as a guideline for domestic and foreign policy. Fourteen hundred years make the point exquisitely – most of the conflicts around the world are linked to Islamicists – not terrorists or extremists, but those who follow the strict interpretation of the Qur’an.]

And it is no exaggeration to say that humanity’s future depends on us uniting against those who would divide us along the fault lines of tribe or sect, race or religion.

[Here, President Obama contradicts himself. Humanity’s future does depend on us uniting against those who would divide us along the fault lines of tribe … Islam is the ultimate divider -- Islam has only three categories: believers, unbelievers, and apostates. For all their moral language, one needs to first accept that Islam does not regard individuals who are not believers to have value or be worthy of respect. Therefore, you have religiously-sanctioned killing of people who are beneath contempt because of their culture, beliefs, and practices.]

But this is not simply a matter of words.  Collectively, we must take concrete steps to address the danger posed by religiously motivated fanatics, and the trends that fuel their recruitment.

[All of those who believe in the strict interpretation of the Qur’an are the religiously motivated fanatics. Most of all those in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and elsewhere – although Obama refuses to take action against these nation-states that covertly support terrorism. I call on President Obama to declassify the section of the 9/11 report dealing with foreign sources of funding and operational support. Let’s see how honest Obama is when the truth is spelled out for everyone to see.]

Moreover, this campaign against extremism goes beyond a narrow security challenge.  For while we’ve degraded methodically core al Qaeda and supported a transition to a sovereign Afghan government, extremist ideology has shifted to other places -- particularly in the Middle East and North Africa, where a quarter of young people have no job, where food and water could grow scarce, where corruption is rampant and sectarian conflicts have become increasingly hard to contain.

[Why has Obama chosen to degrade, when we should be destroying. Killing the fast-multiplying cockroaches that bring pestilence and disease to civilized societies. As for the root causes of rebellion, Obama resorts to his community organizer persona and overlooks the fact that we are dealing with primitive third-world tribalism with a culture vastly different from our own. It is not up to the developing nations to socialize the world and take from the haves to provide to the have-nots. “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.” Does this Marxist doggerel sound familiar?]

As an international community, we must meet this challenge with a focus on four areas.  First, the terrorist group known as ISIL must be degraded and ultimately destroyed.

[They must be destroyed – the faster the better.]

This group has terrorized all who they come across in Iraq and Syria.  Mothers, sisters, daughters have been subjected to rape as a weapon of war.  Innocent children have been gunned down.  Bodies have been dumped in mass graves.  Religious minorities have been starved to death.  In the most horrific crimes imaginable, innocent human beings have been beheaded, with videos of the atrocity distributed to shock the conscience of the world.

[Horrific? Not really – at least not to the nations in the region who practice this sort of barbarism as a form of ethnic cleansing and internal state security. If this is so damn abhorrent to the rank-and-file Muslim, why are the Muslims not taking care of their own mess?]

No God condones this terror.  No grievance justifies these actions.  There can be no reasoning -- no negotiation -- with this brand of evil.  The only language understood by killers like this is the language of force.  So the United States of America will work with a broad coalition to dismantle this network of death.

[It’s amazing, if not amusing,  to watch President Obama explain what God does not condone – when the very book he studied as a child clearly explains that the Islamic God – Allah – does condone the killing of innocents – because they do not regard these people as humans or innocent – they are the unbelievers and the apostates. These people march into battle – killing, raping, and looting, while holding the Qur’an high and singing praises to their militant God.

Yes, these Islamicists do understand force and the will to use it. But, they certainly do not respect Obama – as a strong leader or a statesman. He is considered a naive fool or a “useful idiot.”

And, why do we need to work with a coalition to protect America and Americans from these evildoers? We have the moral imperative and the tools to kill evil – yet we do not seem to have the will or the guts to engage in the fight. That is, if you listen to the progressive socialist democrats.]

In this effort, we do not act alone -- nor do we intend to send U.S. troops to occupy foreign lands.  Instead, we will support Iraqis and Syrians fighting to reclaim their communities.  We will use our military might in a campaign of airstrikes to roll back ISIL.  We will train and equip forces fighting against these terrorists on the ground.  We will work to cut off their financing, and to stop the flow of fighters into and out of the region.  And already, over 40 nations have offered to join this coalition.

[If foreign sovereign nations are unwilling to fight for their own existence, freedoms, or whatever – why the hell should we indulge them. Let them be overthrown and then draw a very bright, and very nuclear, line in the sand. We will assist – but only in proportion to what they contribute to the fight. Yes, they buy our weapons – but that benefits the special interests and our broader economy; but we should demand more – direct payment for expenses incurred, compensation for lives lost, perpetual care for those injured.]

Today, I ask the world to join in this effort. Those who have joined ISIL should leave the battlefield while they can.  Those who continue to fight for a hateful cause will find they are increasingly alone.  For we will not succumb to threats, and we will demonstrate that the future belongs to those who build -- not those who destroy.  So that's an immediate challenge, the first challenge that we must meet.

The second:  It is time for the world -- especially Muslim communities -- to explicitly, forcefully, and consistently reject the ideology of organizations like al Qaeda and ISIL.

[Say what you will about ISIS and al Qaeda, they were fundamentalist Muslims with a strict interpretation of the Qur’an. They were the embodiment of Islam – not a deviation from traditional Qur’anic teachings. Asking the Muslim countries to reject the strict interpretation of Islam is likely to foment even greater discord in their own countries. And as George Bush said, “Not gonna do it!”]

It is one of the tasks of all great religions to accommodate devout faith with a modern, multicultural world.  No children are born hating, and no children -- anywhere -- should be educated to hate other people. There should be no more tolerance of so-called clerics who call upon people to harm innocents because they’re Jewish, or because they're Christian, or because they're Muslim.  It is time for a new compact among the civilized peoples of this world to eradicate war at its most fundamental source, and that is the corruption of young minds by violent ideology.

[If Obama were a great leader and wasn’t such a pussy, he would demand that Islam reform itself and include teachings about diversity, tolerance, and respect for human rights. Oh, wait a minute – the Qur’an is not like the Bible – a collection of prose written by a committee of men, it is the literal word of Allah as dictated to his prophet Mohammed. And, to change the words or grossly change the meanings is to become an apostate and marked for death.]

That means cutting off the funding that fuels this hate.  It’s time to end the hypocrisy of those who accumulate wealth through the global economy and then siphon funds to those who teach children to tear it down.

[Perhaps the Presidential Pussy should have called out Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and others as those that covertly fund hate, build radical Mosques worldwide, and use front groups such as CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations), the propaganda arm of the Muslim Brotherhood to paint Islam in a benign light.]

That means contesting the space that terrorists occupy, including the Internet and social media.  Their propaganda has coerced young people to travel abroad to fight their wars, and turned students -- young people full of potential -- into suicide bombers.  We must offer an alternative vision.

[You can’t even compete with the vision of virgins awaiting the jihadi who sacrifices a life of hardship and horror here; to attain the pleasures in the hereafter. So it is written, so it is taught, so it is practiced. Threaten these people with death – and they have an orgasm.]

That means bringing people of different faiths together.  All religions have been attacked by extremists from within at some point, and all people of faith have a responsibility to lift up the value at the heart of all great religions:  Do unto thy neighbor as you would do -- you would have done unto yourself.

[Does anyone find it odd that Assad, himself a minority Muslim, protected the minorities in his country from terrorists – and yet he is attacked for repelling those who wanted to overthrow him and institute Sharia law? Does anyone find it odd that the Iraqi Shia leadership turned towards Shia Iran and wreaked havoc on the Sunnis when the Americans left?

What the hell are we doing in Syria? We should be bombing the hell out of ISIS in Iraq and drive them into Syria where Assad would complete the task. Instead, Obama the military mind (I mean masturbator), attacks them in Syria and forces ISIS to remain in Iraq … stunning ignorance and incompetence.]

The ideology of ISIL or al Qaeda or Boko Haram will wilt and die if it is consistently exposed and confronted and refuted in the light of day.

[How the hell does Barack Obama have the nerve to say Boko Haram in the United Nations. Not one of these cowards attempted to kill Boko Haram as the raped little girls and killed little boys. Oh, I forgot – those were Christian little boys and girls or apostates that did not recognize the true religion. The U.S. knew where the bad guys were and we did nothing. The U.N. did nothing. So shut the fuck up!”

Look at the new Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies -- Sheikh bin Bayyah described its purpose:  “We must declare war on war, so the outcome will be peace upon peace.”  Look at the young British Muslims who responded to terrorist propaganda by starting the “NotInMyName” campaign, declaring, “ISIS is hiding behind a false Islam.”  Look at the Christian and Muslim leaders who came together in the Central African Republic to reject violence; listen to the Imam who said, “Politics try to divide the religious in our country, but religion shouldn’t be a cause of hate, war, or strife.”

[Yada, Yada, Yada – good conversation, good eats, good media, and above all good security to protect those few who raise their voices. There is not enough of these people to a stadium – and they think their words will convince millions?]

Later today, the Security Council will adopt a resolution that underscores the responsibility of states to counter violent extremism.  But resolutions must be followed by tangible commitments, so we’re accountable when we fall short.

[Another resolution – how many resolutions did Sadam Hussein ignore? Who even pays attention anymore. They say “yes sir, yes sir – and do what they damn please.]

Next year, we should all be prepared to announce the concrete steps that we have taken to counter extremist ideologies in our own countries -- by getting intolerance out of schools, stopping radicalization before it spreads, and promoting institutions and programs that build new bridges of understanding.

[Next year my ass! This problem has been festering for hundreds of years and you want to wait until next year to announce what you are going to do about terrorism? Issue a resolution that allows cross-border access to kill groups listed as terrorists. Attack those nations who support state terrorism like Iran. Do not let Iran go nuclear!]

Third, we must address the cycle of conflict -- especially sectarian conflict -- that creates the conditions that terrorists prey upon.

There is nothing new about wars within religions.  Christianity endured centuries of vicious sectarian conflict.  Today, it is violence within Muslim communities that has become the source of so much human misery.  It is time to acknowledge the destruction wrought by proxy wars and terror campaigns between Sunni and Shia across the Middle East.  And it is time that political, civic and religious leaders reject sectarian strife.  So let’s be clear:  This is a fight that no one is winning.  A brutal civil war in Syria has already killed nearly 200,000 people, displaced millions.  Iraq has come perilously close to plunging back into the abyss.  The conflict has created a fertile recruiting ground for terrorists who inevitably export this violence.

[Can you just imagine Obama’s words healing a rift that has existed for 1400 years? This dipshit couldn’t even help heal the rift between whites and the blacks that goes back 200 years. In fact, every chance Obama gets, he pours gasoline on the racial fire.]

The good news is we also see signs that this tide could be reversed.  We have a new, inclusive government in Baghdad; a new Iraqi Prime Minister welcomed by his neighbors; Lebanese factions rejecting those who try to provoke war.  And these steps must be followed by a broader truce.  Nowhere is this more necessary than Syria.

[Obama: blind and stupid – what a combination!!!]

Together with our partners, America is training and equipping the Syrian opposition to be a counterweight to the terrorists of ISIL and the brutality of the Assad regime.  But the only lasting solution to Syria’s civil war is political -- an inclusive political transition that responds to the legitimate aspirations of all Syrian citizens, regardless of ethnicity, regardless of creed.

[I must be stupid! But, I thought we were fighting ISIS not Assad. What is our national interest in a Syrian religious war – when Assad actually supports minorities? In fact, I believe Obama gave Assad a pass – no more “Assad Must Go!” Something the French and the Brits have echoes. Why is it that the French and the Brits can see more clearly than Obama?]

Cynics may argue that such an outcome can never come to pass.  But there is no other way for this madness to end -- whether one year from now or ten.  And it points to the fact that it’s time for a broader negotiation in the region in which major powers address their differences directly, honestly, and peacefully across the table from one another, rather than through gun-wielding proxies.  I can promise you America will remain engaged in the region, and we are prepared to engage in that effort.

[It is one thing to call for peace – but it is important to recognize the reality – for thousands of years, the region remained unsettled. The Arab-Jewish conflict started with the United Nations partitioning and the Arabs refusing to accept a second and equal state for themselves. The Jews are surrounded by large tracts of land and millions of Muslims – and yet peace has remained illusive as long as Islam provides the religious underpinning of thuggery and extortion.]

My fourth and final point is a simple one:  The countries of the Arab and Muslim world must focus on the extraordinary potential of their people -- especially the youth.

And here I’d like to speak directly to young people across the Muslim world.  You come from a great tradition that stands for education, not ignorance; innovation, not destruction; the dignity of life, not murder.  Those who call you away from this path are betraying this tradition, not defending it.

[Sort of like ordering the head of NASA to perform a Muslim outreach to tell Muslims of all of their great achievements in mathematics and science. This is pure bullshit – you come from a religion of destruction and death and it is up to you to abandon it or reform it. That is if you live that long.]

You have demonstrated that when young people have the tools to succeed -- good schools, education in math and science, an economy that nurtures creativity and entrepreneurship -- then societies will flourish.  So America will partner with those that promote that vision.

[Has Obama never heard of self-determination, motivation, and resilience? The Islamic counties have untold wealth and natural resources – concentrated in a relatively few hands and destined to stay that way at the point of a gun. If they wanted a modern society it would happen. One need only take a look at the smuggler’s paradise that is Dubai.]

Where women are full participants in a country’s politics or economy, societies are more likely to succeed.  And that’s why we support the participation of women in parliaments and peace processes, schools and the economy.

[It might be great for women to drive in Saudi Arabia or even dress in a modern fashion. Whoops – forgot the religious police and the lashes bestowed on those who do not conform to a strict interpretation of the Qur’an. WOW – wonder where ISIS got their ideas?]

<snip>

We recognize as well that leadership will be necessary to address the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis.  As bleak as the landscape appears, America will not give up on the pursuit of peace.  Understand, the situation in Iraq and Syria and Libya should cure anybody of the illusion that the Arab-Israeli conflict is the main source of problems in the region.  For far too long, that's been used as an excuse to distract people from problems at home.  The violence engulfing the region today has made too many Israelis ready to abandon the hard work of peace.  And that's something worthy of reflection within Israel.

[Leadership? You mean like Obama giving another TelePrompTered speech? You mean like the tone-deaf cheese-eating surrender monkey, John Kerry – the “uncircumcised old geezer” mentioned by ISIS? Better you should see the Palestinians in a historic light – hated by their Arab neighbors and living on terrorism, extortion, and thuggery. Heeding the word of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “If the Arabs lay down their weapons, there would be peace. If Israel lays down her weapons, there would be no more Israel.”]

Because let’s be clear:  The status quo in the West Bank and Gaza is not sustainable.  We cannot afford to turn away from this effort -- not when rockets are fired at innocent Israelis, or the lives of so many Palestinian children are taken from us in Gaza. So long as I am President, we will stand up for the principle that Israelis, Palestinians, the region and the world will be more just and more safe with two states living side by side, in peace and security.

[Obama is delusional. As long as Islam exists in its present form and Islamic states resort to thuggery and extortion because the Palestinians make nothing but war and misery, export nothing but terrorism – there will be not solution to the problem.]

So this is what America is prepared to do:  Taking action against immediate threats, while pursuing a world in which the need for such action is diminished.  The United States will never shy away from defending our interests, but we will also not shy away from the promise of this institution and its Universal Declaration of Human Rights -- the notion that peace is not merely the absence of war, but the presence of a better life.

[Obama is prepared only to do what is good for Obama’s progressive socialist democrat agenda. Nothing more, nothing less.]

I realize that America’s critics will be quick to point out that at times we too have failed to live up to our ideals; that America has plenty of problems within its own borders.  This is true.  In a summer marked by instability in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, I know the world also took notice of the small American city of Ferguson, Missouri -- where a young man was killed, and a community was divided.  So, yes, we have our own racial and ethnic tensions.  And like every country, we continually wrestle with how to reconcile the vast changes wrought by globalization and greater diversity with the traditions that we hold dear.

[This outrages me. That our asshat President would denigrate the United States in front of a global audience by referring to a thug’s encounter with a law enforcement officer as some form of mea culpa or example of moral equivalency. Truth-be-told, some of our Black citizens are becoming Islamicized and turning into domestic terrorists.]

To read the rest of Obama’s bullshit rhetoric …  Remarks by President Obama in Address to the United Nations General Assembly | The White House

Bottom line …

What can I say? Obama’s disingenuous, dishonest, and disappointing speech -- just another indication that ordinary American’s were swayed with the sizzle and found out there was no steak. I am embarrassed that this man leads our nation and is in charge of our military. Without a doubt, Obama is the worst president of the modern era, far surpassing Jimmy Carter in the damage done to our country.

In the final analysis, Obama is committing our military assets to act as the surrogate Iranian Air Force – fighting Iran’s Sunni enemy – ISIS and providing aid and comfort to our enemies.
