Christians Are Being Systematically Purged From The U.S. Military..... Sad if true!

Christians Are Being Systematically Purged From The U.S. Military

Christians Are Being Systematically Purged From The U.S. Military

Posted: 17 Apr 2015 04:27 PM PDT

Soldier - Public DomainIf you are a Bible-believing Christian, there is no place for you in Barack Obama’s version of the U.S. military.  Christian service members all over the nation are being disciplined for reading their Bibles, talking about their faith publicly and encouraging others to live a moral lifestyle.  And just saying the name of “Jesus” at the wrong place or the wrong time while serving in the military is enough to spark a national controversy.  We live at a time when political correctness in America is wildly out of control, and thanks to Obama the U.S. military has become one of the most politically correct institutions in our society.  Things have gotten so bad that dozens of top officers that did not agree with Obama’s views have been forced out of the military in recent years.  The U.S. military is being transformed into an overtly anti-Christian institution, and for those of us that are Christians that is a very chilling development.

Perhaps you think that the title of this article is a bit of an exaggeration.

Perhaps you think that there is no way things could have gotten that bad.

Well, I grew up as a military kid.  In those days, the U.S. military was actually quite welcoming to Christians.  But now things have completely and totally changed.

For example, just the other day the Washington Times reported that large numbers of Christians are either leaving the military or never joining in the first place because of the “hostile work environment” that currently exists…

Christians are leaving the U.S. military or are discouraged from joining in the first place because of a “hostile work environment” that doesn’t let them express their beliefs openly, religious freedom advocates say.

Michael Berry, senior counsel at the Liberty Institute, a Texas-based legal organization dedicated to defending religious liberty in America, said recent high-profile cases of military chaplains facing punishment for private counseling sessions that reflected the teachings of their religion could cause devout Americans who are qualified for military service to think twice about joining the military.

Could this be what Barack Obama wants?

Could it be possible that he actually wants to discourage young Bible-believing Christians from serving our country?  Because according to the Times, that is exactly what is happening

“People of faith are going to stay away from the military,” said Mr. Berry in an interview with The Washington Times.

“I can’t tell you how many moms and dads I’ve spoken to who say, ‘My son or daughter wants to join the military, [but] in light of what you’ve described, I’m not sure I want to let them join the military anymore,’ and I don’t blame them. I would have serious reservations about my own kids joining,” Mr. Berry said.

If you are in the military today, you have got to be so careful about any expression of faith.

Even the slightest slip up can cause the authorities to crack down on you.

Just consider the following two examples which come from Newsmax

In December, a chaplain for a Ranger training battalion was sent an administrative letter of concern after a soldier complained that he had promoted Christianity and used a Bibleduring a mandatory suicide-prevention training session.

Last month, a Navy chaplain was removed from his job and may lose his career after complaints about his private counseling during which he discouraged homosexuality and sex outside of marriage.

You mean a Christian chaplain actually “used a Bible” and “promoted Christianity”?

In the old days, doing those things was the very essence of what being a chaplain was all about.

How in the world are you supposed to be a chaplain without “using the Bible”?

It doesn’t make any sense.

Like I said, the U.S. military is becoming an overtly anti-Christian institution, and it starts at the very top.

Since he has been in the White House, Barack Obama has consistently slammed Bible-believing Christians.  Obviously he considers them to be among his chief political enemies, and he barely tries to hide his animosity for them.  We saw another example of this just recently

Consider what Obama—who is on record saying “we are no longer a Christian nation,” and who never notes the Islamic identity of murderers or the Christian identity of their victims, and who ignored a recent UN session on Christian persecution—had to say about Christians at the Easter Prayer Breakfast:  “On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that as a Christian, I am supposed to love.  And I have to say that sometimes when I listen to less than loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned.”

One of the key people that the Obama administration has brought in to advise the Pentagon on matters of faith and the military is a man named Mikey Weinstein.

Weinstein is the head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, and to say that he hates evangelical Christians is a huge understatement.  The following comes from one of my previous articles

The MRFF is a very insidious organization.  It is headed up by a man named Mikey Weinstein.  He has called Christians “human monsters” and “enemies of the United States Constitution“.  Weinstein is convinced that sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ while in the military is “sedition and treason” and should be punished as such.

With guys like that telling the Pentagon how to treat Christians, no wonder things have gotten so bad.

Obama is “fundamentally transforming” the military, and those that aren’t willing to go along are being forced out.

But don’t just take my word for it.

In a previous article, I included these amazing quotes from retired high ranking officers…

-Retired Army Major General Paul Vallely: “The White House protects their own. That’s why they stalled on the investigation into fast and furious, Benghazi and Obamacare. He’s intentionally weakening and gutting our military, Pentagon and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged.”

-Retired Army Major General Patrick Brady: “There is no doubt he (Obama) is intent on emasculating the military and will fire anyone who disagrees with him.”

-Retired Army Lt. General William G. “Jerry” Boykin: “Over the past three years, it is unprecedented for the number of four-star generals to be relieved of duty, and not necessarily relieved for cause.”

-Retired Navy Captain Joseph John: “I believe there are more than 137 officers who have been forced out or given bad evaluation reports so they will never make Flag (officer), because of their failure to comply to certain views.”

Are you starting to get the picture?

In addition, specific evangelical Christian groups are often being singled out as “hate groups” during military training sessions around the country.  The following is from Fox News

Several dozen U.S. Army active duty and reserve troops were told last week that the American Family Association, a well-respected Christian ministry, should be classified as a domestic hate group because the group advocates for traditional family values.

The briefing was held at Camp Shelby in Mississippi and listed the AFA alongside domestic hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan, Neo-Nazis, the Black Panthers and the Nation of Islam.

Needless to say, the AFA is not a hate group.

But they are Bible-believing Christians that take their faith seriously.

For Obama and his minions, that is a very bad thing.

And as I pointed out the other day, we have seen this kind of thing since Obama has been in the White House over and over and over again.  Christians are being demonized as “right-wing extremists” and “potential terrorists”, and if this keeps up it won’t be too long until we see overt persecution by the government.

In the old days, Christians loved the military and the military loved Christians.

But now they are being set directly at odds with each other, and for those of us that are Bible-believing Christians that has a very ominous ring to it.

So what do you think about all of this?  Please feel free to share your opinion by posting a comment below…

Logan’s Warning to Hirsi Ali: Waiting for Islam to Reform is a Death Sentence Pt. lll

Logan’s Warning to Hirsi Ali: Waiting for Islam to Reform is a Death Sentence Pt. lll

Posted: 16 Apr 2015 11:29 PM PDT

Fact vs fiction
As we left off in part II of “Logan’s Warning to Hirsi Ali: Waiting for Islam to Reform is a Death Sentence”, Ali failed to identify the main threat of Islam. The lawful jihad that is taking place across the West, a jihad that is changing the West to suit Islam. Which has ushered in numerous aspects of Sharia, such as Sharia banking, Sharia Courts, halal only in over 50 UK public schools, and the Islamic call to prayer (adhan) being broadcast onto the streets with no concern for the wants and beliefs of non-Muslims, etc.

Her completely ignoring this threat raises a red flag to me, as does her reluctance to want Muslims deported from non-Islamic countries.

Now back to her attempting to mislead the public into believing that she, a self pro-claimed apostate of Islam can not only categorize Muslims, but can actually split Mohammad into two. In an effort to get Muslims to ignore the tyrannical tendencies within in him.

Ali:

Yet the Mecca Muslims have a problem: Their religious beliefs exist in an uneasy tension with modernity—the complex of economic, cultural and political innovations that not only reshaped the Western world but also dramatically transformed the developing world as the West exported it. The rational, secular and individualistic values of modernity are fundamentally corrosive of traditional societies, especially hierarchies based on gender, age and inherited status.

Trapped between two worlds of belief and experience, these Muslims are engaged in a daily struggle to adhere to Islam in the context of a society that challenges their values and beliefs at every turn. Many are able to resolve this tension only by withdrawing into self-enclosed (and increasingly self-governing) enclaves. This is called cocooning, a practice whereby Muslim immigrants attempt to wall off outside influences, permitting only an Islamic education for their children and disengaging from the wider non-Muslim community.

It is my hope to engage this second group of Muslims—those closer to Mecca than to Medina—in a dialogue about the meaning and practice of their faith. I recognize that these Muslims are not likely to heed a call for doctrinal reformation from someone they regard as an apostate and infidel. But they may reconsider if I can persuade them to think of me not as an apostate but as a heretic: one of a growing number of people born into Islam who have sought to think critically about the faith we were raised in. It is with this third group—only a few of whom have left Islam altogether—that I would now identify myself.

Why would Muslims even begin to care what a so-called apostate of Islam wants when it comes to Islam? According to the Koran she is deaf, dumb, and blind.

Koran 2:171:

{ وَمَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِي يَنْعِقُ بِمَا لاَ يَسْمَعُ إِلاَّ دُعَآءً وَنِدَآءً صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ }

The likeness, the attribute, of those who disbelieve, and the one who calls them to guidance, is as the likeness of one who shouts to that which hears nothing, save a call and a cry, only a sound, not understanding its meaning: when they listen to an admonition they are like cattle that hear the cry of their shepherd but do not understand what he is saying; they are deaf, dumb, blind — they do not comprehend, any admonition.

Back to Hirsi: (SNIP)

For the world at large, the only viable strategy for containing the threat posed by the Medina Muslims is to side with the dissidents and reformers and to help them to do two things: first, identify and repudiate those parts of Muhammad’s legacy that summon Muslims to intolerance and war, and second, persuade the great majority of believers—the Mecca Muslims—to accept this change.

Who does that? Even America’s “moderate” Muslim poster boy Zuhdi Jasser will not condemn Mohammad.

What Hirsi fails to understand is that she does not get even begin to dictate what Islam is. The Koran does that, and it does not say to ignore any part of Mohammad’s life. In fact it highly praises the him.

Koran 21:107:

{ وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلاَّ رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ }

We did not send you, O Muhammad (s), except as a mercy, that is, to [give] mercy, to all the worlds, [the worlds of] mankind and jinn through you.
Koran 68:04:

{ وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ }

And assuredly you possess a magnificent nature, [a magnificent] religion.

The fact is that Mohammad was both Mecca and Medina, not a half of person. Should the world have ignored the tyrannical murderous Hitler and only look back to when he was a harmless child? Of course not, doing so would only whitewash the threat of Nazism.

Not only does the Koran praise Mohammad, it actually says to follow his actions on the battlefield for all times. Which includes beheadings and the taking of sex slaves.

Koran 33:21:

{ لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلآخِرَ وَذَكَرَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيراً }

Verily there is for you a good example (read iswa or uswa) in the Messenger of God, to emulate in combatand in holding one’s ground [therein], for whoever (li-man substitutes for lakum, ‘for you’) hopes for [the encounter with] God, fears Him, and the Last Day, and remembers God often, in contrast to those who do not.

Believing in the notion that Ali has some kind of say in Islam, is believing in nothing more than false hope.

Ali:

Islam is at a crossroads. Muslims need to make a conscious decision to confront, debate and ultimately reject the violent elements within their religion. To some extent—not least because of widespread revulsion at the atrocities of Islamic State, al Qaeda and the rest—this process has already begun. But it needs leadership from the dissidents, and they in turn stand no chance without support from the West.

Ever since 911 the main policy of Western governments and the media on this issue, has been to empower “the moderate” Muslims. As if they will create a some form of a “good” Islam that will save Western Civilization from the “bad” Islam. Well in fact, not only as that policy failed. It is has completely backfired by empowering Islam and allowing aspects of Sharia into our societies.

So I am absolutely not interested in legitimizing Islam in anyway. Doing so is nothing more than a slow suicide.

(Dr. Kevorkian)

SNIP:

I have identified five precepts central to Islam that have made it resistant to historical change and adaptation. Only when the harmfulness of these ideas are recognized and they are repudiated will a true Muslim Reformation have been achieved.

Here are the five areas that require amendment:

1. Muhammad’s semi-divine status, along with the literalist reading of the Quran.

Muhammad should not be seen as infallible, let alone as a source of divine writ. He should be seen as a historical figure who united the Arab tribes in a premodern context that cannot be replicated in the 21st century. And although Islam maintains that the Quran is the literal word of Allah, it is, in historical reality, a book that was shaped by human hands. Large parts of the Quran simply reflect the tribal values of the 7th-century Arabian context from which it emerged. The Quran’s eternal spiritual values must be separated from the cultural accidents of the place and time of its birth.

But he is. In the Islamic world there is a saying “al-Insān al-Kāmil”, which is used to describe Mohammad as the perfect man. The reality is that Apostate Ali does not get to change that.

2. The supremacy of life after death.

The appeal of martyrdom will fade only when Muslims assign a greater value to the rewards of this life than to those promised in the hereafter.

But the Koran clearly states that the hereafter will be a paradise for Muslims.

Koran 9:72:

{ وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ }

God has promised the believers, both men and women, Gardens underneath which rivers flow, to abide therein, and blessed dwellings in the Gardens of Eden, for residence, and beatitude from God is greater, is superior to all of that. That is the supreme triumph.

Koran 13:23:

{ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ وَالمَلاَئِكَةُ يَدْخُلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِّن كُلِّ بَابٍ }

Gardens of Eden, as a [place of] residence, which they shall enter, they, along with those who were righteous, [those who] believed, from among their fathers and their spouses and their descendants, even if these [latter] did not perform deeds of the same [merit] as theirs, they shall share with them their stations [of Paradise] as an honouring for them; and the angels shall enter to them from every gate, of the gates of Paradise or of [the gates of] the palaces [of Paradise], when they first enter, in order to congratulate them.

Ali:

3. Shariah, the vast body of religious legislation.

Muslims should learn to put the dynamic, evolving laws made by human beings above those aspects of Shariah that are violent, intolerant or anachronistic.

Yes they should. But once again, why would enough of the ummah (Muslim body, or nation) listen to the words of Apostate Ali? Does she has more say than Egypt’s world renowned Al Azhar University, which gives it stamp of approval to the barbaric Islamic Law manual, The Reliance of the Traveller? Of course not. Talk about dangerous wishful thinking.

4. The right of individual Muslims to enforce Islamic law.

There is no room in the modern world for religious police, vigilantes and politically empowered clerics.

That sounds nice, but it is once again ignoring what Muslims believe to be the word of God himself. As Islam is certainly political, and the Koran calls for Muslims to stand with Islam above all.

Koran 4:59:

{ يَا أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي ٱلأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ فَإِن تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِ إِن كُنْتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلآخِرِ ذٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلاً }

O you who believe, obey God, and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you, that is, rulers, when they command you to obey God and His Messenger. If you should quarrel, disagree, about anything, refer it to God, that is, to His Book, and the Messenger, while he lives, and thereafter [refer] to his Sunna: in other words examine these [disputes] with reference to these two [sources], if you believe in God and the Last Day; that, reference to the two [sources], is better, for you than quarrelling or [adhering to] personal opinions, and more excellent in interpretation, in the end.

Finally,

5. The imperative to wage jihad, or holy war.

Islam must become a true religion of peace, which means rejecting the imposition of religion by the sword.

Well why would Muslims go against Allah, and what they believe to be the perfect man? Because a hated infidel is asking them to? That is the equivalent of a Jew asking a Nazi to stand with them over Nazism.

Koran 9:73:

{ يٰأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ جَاهِدِ ٱلْكُفَّارَ وَٱلْمُنَافِقِينَ وَٱغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ }

O Prophet, struggle against the disbelievers, with the sword, and the hypocrites, with words and [definitive] arguments, and be harsh with them, through rebuke and aversion [towards them]; for their abode will be Hell, an evil journey’s end, [an evil] resort it is!

islamic sword

From the world renowned Sahih (authentic Bukhari Ahadith).

Volume 1, Book 2, Number 25:

Narrated Ibn ‘Umar:
Allah’s Apostle said: “I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah’s Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform that, then they save their lives and property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah.”

Now whose words are held higher across the Islamic world? Allah and his so called perfect prophet Mohammad, or those of Apostate Ali?

Hirsi Ali, $elling America a fantasy one book at a time….
