Narco Corrido Singer Larry Hernandez arrives in S.C. Free on Bail

After nine days of being released for transfer from a Southern California jail, narco corrido singer Larry Hernandez arrives in Newberry, South Carolina to face kidnapping charges.

This morning Borderland Beat was told that that singer had arrived at 6:36 a.m.and was scheduled to  face a judge at a bail hearing on Saturday, but less than 3 hours later the suspect faced the judge when the hearing was moved up to 11 a.m.  

The judge imposed  a set bail in the amount of $200,000.

Under the conditions of bail, Hernandez was allowed to return to his Southern California home in West Covina, but must report to the court every two weeks and submit to random drug testing.

“Larry Hernandez was also ordered to surrender his passport and forbidden to have any contact with the victim or any other co-defendants,” said Police Chief Roy McClurkin 

Hernandez’s charges stems  from an Aug. 17 event where the victim alleges he was held against his will by individuals associated with a concert  at a Newberry skating rink.

The victim reported to the  police that he was wrapped in clear plastic wrap and beaten by Hernandez and another man.

His next court hearing is on December 31, 2015.

The right hand man of the plaza Boss from La Paz, Baja California Sur was executed by 10 shots in Colonia Cucas in Culiacan.

On Friday morning Alejandro Sánchez Trejo "El Frank", "El Frane" or "El Alex" was executed, he is considered by federal authorities as the right hand man for Jose Fernando Torres Montenegro "El Pepillo" the plaza leader of drug dealing in the South Zone of the city of La Paz, Baja California Sur.

"El Pepillo's" lieutenant was executed just 10 meters of a ballroom owned by him in the corner of Alvaro Obregon and Solon Zabre in Colonia Cucas in the Sinaloa capital.


Early reports obtained by ZETA suggest that the 39 year old crime boss, was traveling aboard a red ATV, when he was intercepted by hired assassins who shot more than 10 times.

According to witnesses, after the first detonations the right hand man of "El Pepillo" try to flee the area, making a "U" turn, and accelerated his motorcycle going on opposite direction from where he came from, but he was killed in front of a water purification business.

The Attorney General of Sinaloa found 10 9mm cartridges in the scene.

Alejandro Sanchez Trejo "El Frane" is the second person in command of "el Pepillo's" criminal organization a cell of Damaso Serrano Lopez "El Mini Lic", to be executed in Culiacan, Sinaloa, after a war broke out between cells of the Sinaloa Cartel in La Paz, BCS.

The first one was Ranulfo Lopez Portillo "La Muñeca", who was killed on 29 of August.

After losing the war against the cells of Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, they were banned from South Zone in La Paz, "Los Pepillos" retreated, and some of them went into hiding in Sinaloa.

A narco tunnel of 800 metres by 3 metres was discovered in the frontier between Tijuana and San Diego, California this past Wednesday by elements of the Federal Police and the Centre for National Security Investigations (cisen).

In the operation, the armed forces detained 16 alleged narco traffickers, one from Tijuana and the rest from Sinaloa, that were operating for the CJNG and were about to transport 10 tonnes of Marijuana in packets to the United States.




The discovery, signalled the National Commission for Security and Communication, was the product of weeks of investigative work in the office and field.




The narco tunnel, is similar to that used by "El Chapo" Guzman to escape Altiplano prison this past July.

The Federal elements located a bodega in the Calle Fray Junipero Serra, in the Garita de Otay Colonia in Tijuana where there has been intense vehicle movements entering and leaving, apparently delivering drugs to be delivered through the tunnel to the United States.



With search warrant in hand, this Wednesday past they entered the property and " without having to fire a shot", surprised the alleged narco traffickers, signalled a communication.

At the location, 16 men who ages are between 21 and 50 years old, and who were presented before the Public Ministry of the Federation admitted working as drug traffickers. They also admitted having links to the CJNG.

While searching the venue, the Federal Police found deep access to an underground passage that leads to US territory. The tunnel it at a dept of 10 meters and is 800 meters in length, 600 meters under the Mexican side of the frontier and 200 meters into the USA side of the frontier.

The passage was built with metal reinforcements to prevent collapse, a lighting and ventilation system hooked up to a battery system, as well as rail system to transport the drugs.

After the operation, the Federal Forces confiscated 873 packets of Marijuana wrapped in plastic and adhesive tape, with a combined weight of nearly ten tonnes.

They also confiscated vehicles and other particulars that were put at the disposition of the Federal Ministry, together with the drugs and the detainees, informed the CNS
