Tell the RNC to Support the Freedom Platform
With the Republican National Convention fast approaching, we need to make our voice heard to the Platform Committee to ensure fiscally conservative policies are adopted into the official GOP platform.
This matter is crucial to accountability and putting our ideas into action. The Platform Committee is headed by Gov. Bob McDonnell of Virginia, Sen. John Hoeven of North Dakota, and Rep. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee. They need to hear your support for the Freedom Platform right now.
Taking FreePAC to Cincinnati, Ohio
Our FreePAC event in Dallas was so successful we decided to take it on the road. We are proud to announce FreePAC Bootcamp in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 15th.
The event will be similar in structure to our FreePAC event in Dallas, but it will be smaller and more intimate. In the opening session, we’ll be sharing our best practices for Getting Out The Vote. These sessions are really what we’re about at FreedomWorks: empowering you to effect the change you want to see.

Tea party activists in Georgia helped kill a proposed sales tax increase that would have raised billions of dollars for transportation projects. In Pennsylvania, tea partyers pushed to have taxpayers send public school children to private schools. In Ohio, they drove a referendum to block state health insurance mandates.
These and other battles are evidence of the latest phase of the conservative movement, influencing state and local policy, perhaps more effectively than on a national level. Tea party organizers are refocusing, sometimes without the party label, to build broader support for their initiatives.
