Sorosis' glee over US Chaos

Posted by Matthew Vadum Bio ↓ on Jan 26th, 2012  Print This Post A A A George Soros is delighted that chaos is coming to his adopted homeland. “In the crisis period, the impossible becomes possible,” the anti-American financier told Newsweek in a recent interview, restating the Alinskyite adage that a good crisis is a terrible thing to waste. “I am not here to cheer you up. The situation is about as serious and difficult as I’ve experienced in my career,” Soros says. “We are facing an extremely difficult time, comparable in many ways to the 1930s, the Great Depression. We are facing now a general retrenchment in the developed world, which threatens to put us in a decade of more stagnation, or worse. The best-case scenario is a deflationary environment. The worst-case scenario is a collapse of the financial system.” Like some of the more dimwitted commentators on economics, Soros loves to spew the usual socialist drivel about so-called market fundamentalism running amok as if he were living during the Cleveland administration. “The collapse of the Soviet system was a pretty extraordinary event, and we are currently experiencing something similar in the developed world, without fully realizing what’s happening.” To people like Soros, the mortgage bubble was caused by the Snidely Whiplashes of the financial world, not by venal real-life politicians like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd and the monstrous financial blunderers known as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Free markets are to blame even though they have never been tried. As the U.S. economy continues to deteriorate, anger will grow and rioting in the streets is sure to follow. “It’s already started,” he says. “Yes, yes, yes,” Soros adds “almost gleefully,” Newsweek writer John Arlidge editorializes. For years Soros has longed for an opportunity to transform America into a socialist state. “The system we have now has actually broken down, only we haven’t quite recognized it and so you need to create a new one and this is the time to do it,” he said in 2009 as he created the Institute for New Economic Thinking with a $50 million endowment. This Communist sympathizer co-founded the ultra-secretive Democracy Alliance, a billionaires’ club that funds leftist political infrastructure. He has said that European-style socialism “is exactly what we need now” and favors American decline. Soros praises Red China effusively, saying the totalitarian nation has “a better-functioning government than the United States.” Continue reading page: 1 2

Religious Squirrels

There were Five country churches in a small TEXAS town: The Presbyterian Church , the Baptist Church , the Methodist Church, the Greek Orthodox Church , The Catholic Church  and the Jewish Synagogue. Each church was overrun with pesky squirrels . One day, the Presbyterian Church called a meeting to decide what to do about the squirrels. After much prayer and consideration they Determined that the squirrels were predestined to be there and they shouldn't interfere with God's divine will.. In The BAPTIST CHURCH the squirrels had taken up habitation in the baptistery. The deacons met and decided to put a cover on the baptistery and drown the squirrels in it. The squirrels escaped somehow and there were twice as many there the next week. The Methodist Church got together and decided that they were not in a position to harm any of God's creation. So, they humanely trapped the Squirrels and set them free a few miles outside of town. Three days later, the squirrels were back.  The Catholic Church got together and decided to leave them  to their own devices. But -- The Greek Orthodox CHURCH came up with the best and most effective solution. They baptized the squirrels and registered them as members of the church. Now they only see them on Christmas and Easter  Not much was heard about the Jewish Synagogue, but they took one squirrel and had a short service with him called circumcision and they haven't seen a squirrel on the property since.

"Our Day in Court". A must read 4 U!

After living what I felt was a 'decent' life, my time on earth came to the end. The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting room of what I thought to be a court house. The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat by the defense table. As I looked around I saw the 'prosecutor.' He was a villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared at me. He definitely was the most evil person I have ever seen. I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney, a kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to me, I felt I knew Him. The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full flowing robes. He commanded an awesome presence as He moved across the room I couldn't take my eyes off of Him. As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, "Let us begin." The prosecutor rose and said, "My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this woman belongs in hell..." He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole, and in the past when I cheated others. Satan told of other horrible perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, the further down in my seat I sank. I was so embarrassed that I couldn't look at anyone, even my own Attorney, as the Devil told of sins that even I had completely forgotten about. As upset as I was at Satan for telling all these things about me, I was equally upset at My Attorney who sat there silently not offering any form of defense at all. I know I had been guilty of those things, but I had done some good in my life - couldn't that at least equal out part of the harm I'd done? Satan finished with a fury and said, "This woman belongs in hell, she is guilty of all that I have charged and there is not a person who can prove otherwise." When it was His turn, My Attorney first asked if He might approach the bench. The Judge allowed this over the strong objection of Satan, and beckoned Him to come forward. As He got up and started walking, I was able to see Him in His full splendor and majesty.   I realized why He seemed so familiar; this was Jesus representing me, my Lord and my Savior. He stopped at the bench and softly said to the Judge, "Hi, Dad," and then He turned to address the court. "Satan was correct in saying that this woman had sinned, I won't deny any of these allegations. And, yes, the wage of sin is death, and this woman deserves to be punished." Jesus took a deep breath and turned to His Father with outstretched arms and proclaimed, "However, I died on the cross so that this person might have eternal life and she has accepted Me as her Savior, so she is Mine." My Lord continued with, "Her name is written in the Book of Life, and no one can snatch her from Me." "Satan still does not understand yet. This woman is not to be given justice, but rather mercy." As Jesus sat down, He quietly paused, looked at His Father and said, "There is nothing else that needs to be done." "I've done it all." The Judge lifted His mighty hand and slammed the gavel down. The following words bellowed from His lips.. "This woman is free." "The penalty for her has already been paid in full." "Case dismissed." As my Lord led me away, I could hear Satan ranting and raving, "I won't give up, I will win the next one." I asked Jesus as He gave me my instructions where to go next, "Have you ever lost a case?" Christ lovingly smiled and said, "Everyone that has come to Me and asked Me to represent them has received the same verdict as you." ~"Paid In Full"~ Passing this on to anyone you consider a friend, (as I have done here), it will bless you both. "Stop telling God how big your storm is. Instead, tell the storm how big your God is!"

Jesus in a Restaurant

A Republican, in a wheelchair, entered a restaurant one afternoon and asked the waitress for a cup of coffee. The Republican looked across the restaurant and asked, "Is that Jesus sitting over there?" The waitress nodded "yes," so the Republican requested that she give Jesus a cup of coffee, on him. The next patron to come in was a Libertarian, with a hunched back. He shuffled over to a booth, painfully sat down, & asked the waitress for a cup of hot tea. He also glanced across the restaurant and asked, "Is that Jesus, over there?" The waitress nodded, so the Libertarian asked her to give Jesus a cup of hot tea, "My treat." The third patron to come into the restaurant was a Democrat on crutches. He hobbled over to a booth, sat down and hollered, "Hey there honey! How's about getting me a cold glass of wine?" He too looked across the restaurant and asked, "Isn't that God's boy over there? The waitress nodded, so the Democrat directed her to give Jesus a cold glass of wine. "On my bill," he said loudly. As Jesus got up to leave, he passed by the Republican, touched him and said, "For your kindness, you are healed." The Republican felt the strength come back into his legs, got up, and danced a jig out the door. Jesus passed by the Libertarian, touched him and said, "For your kindness, you are healed." The Libertarian felt his back straightening up and he raised his hands, praised the Lord, and did a series of back flips out the door. Then, Jesus walked towards the Democrat, just smiling. The Democrat jumped up and yelled, "Don't touch me ... I'm collecting disability!"

Major Covert Campaign Claims Another Iranian Scientist Posted by Ryan Mauro Bio ↓ on Jan 12th, 2012  Print This Post A A A An Iranian nuclear scientist was killed yesterday in an attack similar to those carried out on other scientists. Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan is the fifth scientist to mysteriously die. The killing is the latest in a long list of apparent covert operations in recent months to stall Iran’s nuclear weapons program. Iran describes Roshan as the “deputy in charge of commerce” at its Natanz enrichment facility and immediately blamed “the Zionist regime” for his death. Two individuals attached and detonated a magnetic bomb to his car in Tehran outside of Allameh Tabatai University, killing him and his bodyguard. Roshan was a lecturer at the university. At Natanz, Roshan was in charge of procuring equipment. The fact that he had a bodyguard shows he had an important role. His death comes just one day after the Israeli military’s chief of staff said that 2012 is a “critical year” for Iran and referred to “events that happen unnaturally.” Indeed, the past few months has seen a huge rise in “accidents” and other “unnatural” events affecting Iran’s nuclear program and the regime’s pillars of strength. On December 22, the Iranian regime claimed that its oil depot in Abadan was hit with a rocket. It is located in the Arab-populated Khuzestan Province, so it may have been launched by locals that often clash with the regime. The attack came just two weeks after Iran announced that it would spend $800 million to increase its gasoline output by 12,500 barrels per day by February. The covert operations aren’t just aimed at nuclear sites and their staff. The Washington Post says that there has been a “fivefold increase in explosions at refineries and gas pipelines since 2010.” There were three explosions at gas pipelines in 2009. In 2010, it was 17. In February, three gas pipelines near Qom were hit with explosions. In April, another three explosions in the same area happened. In July, a pipeline to Turkey was struck, and three more pipelines suffered blasts within the first two weeks of August. On December 15, Israel carried out a secret air strike on a convoy in Sudan headed to Hamas. It was carrying weapons from Iran. At least six Land Cruiser jeeps were destroyed and four were killed. There was reportedly another strike in Sudan in early December that destroyed at least one truck. On December 11, a mysterious explosion happened at a steel plant in Yazd that almost no one reported on. The blast killed 7 people and wounded 12. Among the casualties were unidentified foreigners. The site has not been publicly tied to Iran’s nuclear program, so it indicates the perpetrators had access to classified information. Michael Ledeen wrote that the plant made the material for nose cones for ballistic missiles. Other reports said the steel can be used in making exhaust systems. A German news outlet reported in November that North Korea was providing Iran and Syria with maraging steel for centrifuges. U.S. Sinks to 10th Place in Economic Freedom Due to Regulation, Spending

U.S. Falls in Index of Economic Freedom Sharp increases in government spending and costly regulations contributed to this year's decline in the United States’ ranking in the annual Index of Economic Freedom published by The Wall Street Journal and The Heritage Foundation. Quick Hits 2012 Index of Economic Freedom   Podcast: Interview with Index Editor, Kim Holmes, Ph.D.    Video: The Role of Economic Freedom   A Step Backward for Economic Freedom in 2012  The U.S. fell from ninth to tenth place in economic freedom among 179 competing countries. It was the fourth straight year of decline in economic freedom for the United States. As recently as 2008, the U.S. ranked seventh worldwide, and was considered a “free” economy. Today, the U.S. is only a “mostly free” economy. Most worrisome is the U.S.'s drop in the category of freedom from corruption. Index editors say this stems from the growing perception of corruption associated with government bailouts of troubled industries, including automakers and investment houses. The perception of corruption also grew due to regulatory exemptions granted to politically well-connected companies and special-interest groups. More than 1,100 companies won exemptions from provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, President Obama’s signature health care legislation.   “Corruption is a growing concern as the cronyism and economic rent-seeking associated with the growth of government have undermined institutional integrity,” the editors write. The Index’s editors also attribute the U.S. decline to increases in government spending and  the dramatic growth of regulations, particularly in health care and finance.  Spending by government consumes 42.2 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), and total public debt now is larger than the entire the economy.   The regulatory burden also continues to grow. More than 70 major rules imposed since 2009 cost Americans nearly $40 billion last year – leading to the largest U.S. decline, in the fiscal freedom category.   The Index offers solutions, pointing to the policies needed to improve the U.S.'s score: reduce the size of government, overhaul the tax system, and transform costly entitlement programs. These solutions are critical for bringing down high unemployment rates and reducing public debt to manageable levels.   For interviews please call (202) 675-1761.   Experts: Kim R. A Little Humor 4 You!

___________________________________________________________________     A young New York City woman was so depressed that she decided to end her life by throwing herself into the ocean. But just before she could throw herself from the docks, a handsome young man stopped her. "You have so much to live for," said the man. I'm a sailor, and we are off to Italy tomorrow. I can stow you away on my ship. I'll take care of you, bring you food every day, and keep you happy."    With nothing to lose, combined with the fact that she had always wanted to visit Italy , the woman agreed to go. That night   the sailor brought her aboard and hid her in a small but comfortable compartment in the hold. From then on, every night he would bring her three sandwiches, and a bottle of red wine, and make love to her until dawn. Two weeks later she was discovered by the captain during an inspection.   "What are you doing here?" asked the captain.   "I have an arrangement with one of the sailors," she replied. "He brings me food and I get a free trip to Italy ."   "I see," the captain says.   Her conscience got the best of her and she added, "Plus, he's screwing me."   "He certainly is," replied the captain. "This is the Staten Island Ferry..."

This man is a disgrace to our country in many ways. Here is one. Obama Removes American Flag from His Plane Before After Barack Obama recently finished a $500,000 total overhaul of his Boeing 757. And as part of the new design, he decided to remove the American flag from the tail. What American running for President of the United States would remove the symbol of his country? And worse, he replaced the flag with a symbol of himself. Please forward this if you're not ashamed of your country and our flag. If you do not forward this to everyone you know nothing will happen. If Obama is re-elected president of the United States we are in trouble. If you think the Liberals can lead our country just look what Pelosi and Reid have accomplished for us. 3 Who Destroyed the US Economy

Where are they now?   Read the answer at the end WHERE ARE THEY NOW?  Surprise.... Answer..   The three who brought down Wall Street.   Here's a quick look into the three former Fannie Mae executives who brought down Wall Street.   Franklin Raines was a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Fannie Mae.   Raines was forced to retire from his position with Fannie Mae when auditing   discovered severe irregularities in Fannie Mae's accounting activities. Raines left with a "golden parachute valued at $240 Million   in benefits. The Government filed suit against Raines when the depth of the   accounting scandal became clear.   Tim Howard - was the Chief Financial Officer of Fannie Mae. Howard   "was a strong internal proponent of using accounting strategies that   would ensure a "stable pattern of earnings" at Fannie. Investigations by federal   regulators and the company's board of directors since concluded that   management did manipulate 1998 earnings to trigger bonuses. Raines and Howard   resigned under pressure in late 2004. Howard's Golden Parachute was estimated   at $20 Million!   Jim Johnson - A former executive at Lehman Brothers and who was later   forced from his position as Fannie Mae CEO. Investigators found that Fannie   Mae had hidden a substantial amount of Johnson's 1998 compensation from the   public, reporting that it was between $6 million and $7 million when it fact   it was $21 million." Johnson is currently under investigation for taking illegal loans from Countrywide while serving as CEO of Fannie Mae.   Johnson's Golden Parachute was estimated at $28 Million. *****************************************************************************************   WHERE ARE THEY NOW?   FRANKLIN RAINES ? Raines works for the Obama Campaign as his Chief Economic Advisor.   TIM HOWARD? Howard is a Chief Economic Advisor to Obama under Franklin Raines.   JIM JOHNSON? Johnson was hired as a Senior Obama Finance Advisor and was selected to run Obama's Vice Presidential Search Committee.       Our government seems   to be rotten to the core !   Are we stupid or what?  Vote in 2012..it is the most important election of our lives.

The Case for Military Action Against Iran Posted by Bruce Thornton Bio ↓ on Jan 10th, 2012  Print This Post A A A Iran’s 30-year war against the United States may be reaching its decisive moment. Signs of the worsening crisis abound. Iran just announced it has begun enriching uranium at the Fordo underground nuclear site, a key step to producing more quickly fissile material for a nuclear warhead. As Europe moves closer to embargoing Iranian oil, deputy commander of the Revolutionary Guard Ali Ashraf Nouri threatens, “ If enemies block the export of our oil, we won’t allow a drop of oil to pass through the Strait of Hormuz,” through which about one-fifth of the world’s oil passes. In support of this threat, the regime continues to stage war games in the area and to warn American warships from passing through the strait into the Persian Gulf. Meanwhile the U.S. and Israel have announced a joint missile defense exercise, as Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad visits America’s enemies in Latin America, bearding the U.S. lion in its own hemisphere of influence. Iran may be just indulging bluster and bluff. Perhaps the mullahs recall the severe punishment inflicted on its navy in 1988 during the Tanker War, an earlier attempt to disrupt oil shipments transiting the Persian Gulf. That effort ended when Ronald Reagan retaliated for a missile attack on an American warship by eventually destroying two Iranian oil platforms, two Iranian ships, and six Iranian gunboats. Yet our current president has not shown as yet any of Ronald Reagan’s guts and nerve, and the mullahs may be calculating that the bluff will work. And why wouldn’t they? Iran has been killing Americans for 30 years with impunity, from the 241 military personnel killed in Beirut by a suicide bomber, to the hundreds more soldiers murdered in Iraq and Afghanistan by Iranian proxy terrorist outfits trained and armed by Tehran. Repeated rounds of sanctions, threats, U.N. Security Council resolutions, and deadlines for cooperating with the International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors have been contemptuously ignored. Our citizens are arrested and held on trumped-up charges, our ally Israel is threatened with genocide, and incessant anti-American “Great Satan” rhetoric daily pours from Tehran. Just this week a former American Marine was condemned to death by an Iranian court for allegedly being a spy and a “mohareb,” or “fighter against God.” Yet Obama has answered this aggression against our security and interests with appeasing diplomatic “outreach” offered “without preconditions,” and pleas for “mutual respect” that the regime correctly interprets as a sign of weakness and failure of nerve. Given that Iranian aggression has so far provoked appeasement and empty threats, the mullahs very well could believe that since they are the “best of nations,” as the Koran has it, in any conflict Allah will protect the Islamic Republic and render insignificant America’s overwhelming military superiority. After all, Muslims for centuries have believed in their superiority based on Allah’s special regard for them, as aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry noted in 1939: “Their [Muslims] pride was born of the illusion of their power. Allah renders a believer invincible.” The mullahs today will remember what the Ayatollah Khomeini said in 1980, after America’s ill-planned and half-hearted mission to rescue the embassy hostages was ignominiously thwarted by a sandstorm that caused two helicopters to crash and burn: “Those sand particles were divinely commissioned. . . . [President] Carter still has not comprehended what kind of people he is facing. . . . Our people is the people of blood and our school is the school of Jihad.” Thirty years later, we still have not “comprehended” the nature of the Iranian enemy. We have continuously operated with a materialist calculus that ignores the spiritual motives that account for much of Iranian aggression. More depressing still, this is the same mistake the Carter administration made in 1979, when it ignored the religious roots of the Iranian Revolution, dismissed Khomeini as “nutty” and “a crazy man,” as Carter did, and assumed that the secular political parties and technical elites would eventually rule Iran and marginalize the mullahs, virulent Iranian hostility would wane, and “after a transition period common interests could provide a basis for future cooperation,” as an assistant to the Secretary of State reported. Similarly the West today has assumed that economic punishment, or the desire for “greater international integration,” as Obama put it, can change Iranian behavior. We still don’t believe what a member of the Revolutionary Council said a few months after the seizure of our embassy: “No individual, no official and no Muslim has the right to show forbearance or compromise toward an enemy who is not defeated and is not overthrown.” Continue reading page: 1 2 About Bruce Thornton Do you like this story? ‘Obama’ is how you spell relief   By Wesley Pruden Conservatives are fractured, split and mad at each other, brawling like Democrats. There’s only one man who can unify the movement. Fortunately for the Grumpy Old Party, Barack Obama is available, ready and eager. By mid-March, we’ll have muddled through most of the primaries and caucuses (cauci?), and by then the Republicans will know who their nominee will be, even if he won’t be crowned until the party meets in convention assembled in Tampa in late August. Soon the cannibalism will abate, and the fun begins. The venom will be aimed at the president, who will fire back with toxins of his own. The camps of the candidates, each heavily armed, will be evenly matched. The weight of President Obama’s fantasies keeps the economy mired in a mud of low expectations. “It’s the economy, stupid,” but even Stupid can see the economy against a backdrop of presidential incompetence at home and timidity abroad. Over the weekend, Newt Gingrich continued to pound Mitt Romney, to “slow him down” so he could “expose” him (though not necessarily by stealing his pants). Ken Starr, the Watergate prosecutor, scolded anyone who won’t vote for a Mormon just because he’s a Mormon, and pointedly said he wasn’t endorsing Mr. Romney. He must have been talking about Jon Huntsman, who scolded his fellow Mormon for injecting “partisanship” into the campaign. Horrors! Partisanship in an election campaign? Who would have thought it? Ron Paul was chased out of Moe Joe’s Diner in New Hampshire by scrambling reporters intent on doing harm. Dan Rather (remember him?) says Barack Obama would lose the election if it were held today. The silly season is hard upon us, and it’s only January. But soon we’ll have to take ourselves seriously, and the economy will still be job one. The government’s numbers continue the dreary downward trend Mr. Obama introduced soon after his inauguration three years ago, and the weight of his fantasies keeps the economy mired in a mud of low expectations. The latest numbers revealed 200,000 new jobs for Americans last month, and the jobless rate, which was bumping 10 percent only a few months ago, dropped for the second month in a row. Any good news is better than bad news, but the news hidden in the government’s numbers for December was bad indeed. The unemployment number is the least reliable indicator of the health of the economy. Over the past 30 months, the number of available workers has declined by more than 840,000—dropping by 170,000 in just the past two months. The number of Americans employed or looking for work—what the economists call “the labor force participation rate”—has fallen to 64 percent of the population. Adjusted for this unusually unhappy rate, the unemployment figure is more than 11 percent. No good news here. There’s even worse news in the small print, which is why the remorseless stock-market indicators declined when the numbers came out on Friday. The Bureau of Labor Statistics calculates a “real unemployment rate,” which includes workers with part-time often ragtag jobs, and the workers who have simply given up the job search, at 15.2 percent. This is not bad news, but catastrophic news, not just for the discouraged and underemployed but lethal for an incumbent president organizing his re-election campaign. The skeptical Wall Street reaction to the news recalls Ronald Reagan’s famous definition of a struggling economy: “A recession is when your neighbor loses his job. A depression is when you lose yours. A recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his.” Update that and you can see the rock and the hard place squeezing Barack Obama. This is the killer issue the Republicans must exploit to win when they finally find their man. There’s no sign of a happy warrior in sight, among either the Republicans or the Democrats, but soon, when primary and caucus have produced a nominee by relentlessly eliminating the chaff from the wheat, it will be game on, and a very different game than the one we’ve seen. Alan Krueger, the president’s top economic adviser, spins the new government figures as providing “further evidence that the economy is continuing to heal,” that only the failed Obama economic policies can help the country “dig our way out of the deep hole.” Alas, the only thing anyone can accomplish by digging to get out of a hole is a deeper hole. In fact, the only way Mr. Obama can make mediocre economic news look good, observes Investors Business Daily, is to set expectations “so low that even a tiny step forward seems like a giant leap.” That’s not much of a strategy. This will make your Blood Boil.............. Click on link near the bottom to verify. Michelle Obama Listed Daughters As “Senior Staffers” on African "vacation" Can you believe this? Now, if a Republican would do something like this, the press would be all over it and yapping about it for weeks. Michelle Obama Listed Daughters As “Senior Staffers” To Justify Expensive African Vacation And Safari • October 5, 2011 The most accountable administration evah: Judicial Watch said the U.S. Air Force provided a C-32 – a Boeing 757 modified by the military for the purpose of flying big-wigs around the world – to fly the First Lady and her entourage to and from Africa , at a cost of $424,142. Another $928.44 was listed as the cost of providing 192 meals for the 21 people who made the trip The Obama daughters were listed on the manifest as “senior staff.” “This trip was as much an opportunity for the Obama family to go on a safari as it was a trip to conduct government business,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “This junket wasted tax dollars and the resources of our overextended military. No wonder we had to sue to pry loose this information.” I missed this story yesterday, but it’s worthy of our attention. The nation is suffering with the economy sputtering, the national debt soaring and Obama’s economic rescue policies not only failing but actively making things worse. Meanwhile, the First Lady justifies an expensive trip to Africa to take a vacation and safari with her daughters by saying it’s “official business” and even going so far as to list her children as “staffers.” The level of arrogance and dishonesty on display here is nothing short of shocking. But, er, “hope for change” and “yes we can.. It’s a true story... SOCIALIST GRAB FOR POWER, JUST LIKE SOUTH AMERICA!

The recess appointment] power has been interpreted by scores of attorneys general and their designees in the Department of Justice Office of Legal Counsel for over 100 years to require an official, legal Senate recess of at least 10-25 days of duration. (There are a few outlier opinions, never sanctioned by the courts, that suggest a recess of six to seven days might be enough--but never less than that.) The President's purported recess appointment of Cordray would render the Senate's advice and consent role to normal appointments almost meaningless. It is a grave constitutional wrong that Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has already denounced. But it fits a pattern of extra-constitutional abuse by the White House that seems more interested in energizing a liberal base than safeguarding the office of the presidency.

Why Obama May Win in 2012?

DR. WILLIAMS predicts that Obama can not  lose the 2012 election.    IN ADDITION TO THE VOTING BLOCKS HE MENTIONS, THERE IS ANOTHER HUGE  GROUP:  THE NEARLY ONE-HALF OF ALL ADULTS WHO DO NOT PAY ANY TAXES  AND, IN FACT, MOST OF THEM RECEIVE MONEY FROM THE GOVERNMENT. THESE  PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO "SHAKE THE BOAT" TO DO ANYTHING TO STOP  THE FLOW OF TAXPAYER MONEY TO THEMSELVES.                          Dr. Williams  prediction:  Maybe you have read some newspaper articles  written by Dr. Williams a conservative economist who happens to be  Black. He has taught at several Universities and is currently  teaching at George Mason University .                     =                     No Matter  What    By Dr. Walter  Williams        Can President Obama be defeated in 2012?  No.  He can't. I am going on record as saying that  President Barak Obama will win a second term.    The media won't tell  you this because a good election campaign means hundreds of  millions (or in Obama's case billions) of dollars to them in  advertising.    But the truth is,  there simply are no conditions under which Barak Obama can be  defeated in 2012.     The quality of the Republican candidate doesn't matter.  Obama gets reelected.  Nine percent unemployment?   No problem.  Obama will win.  Gas  prices moving toward five  dollars a gallon?  He still wins.  The economy soars  or goes into the gutter.  Obama wins.  War in the Middle East ?  He wins a second term.    America's role as the  leading Superpower disappears?  Hurrah for Barak  Obama!  The US government rushes toward bankruptcy, the  dollar continues to sink on world markets and  the price of daily goods and services soars due to inflation  fueled by Obama's extraordinary deficit spending?  Obama wins handily.      You are  crazy Williams..  Don't you understand how volatile politics can be when overall economic, government, and world conditions are declining?  Sure I do.    And that's why I know  Obama will win.  The American people are notoriously  ignorant of economics..  And economics is the key to why Obama should be defeated.    Even when Obama's  policies lead the nation to final ruin, the majority of the  American people are going to believe the bait-and- switch  tactics Obama and his supporters in the media will use to explain why it isn't his fault.  After all, things were much worse than understood when he took office.    Obama's reelection is really a very, very simple math problem.           Consider the  following:    1) Blacks will vote  for Obama blindly.   Period.  Doesn't matter what he does.  It's a race thing.  He's one of us.            2) College educated women will vote for Obama.  Though they will be offended by this, they swoon at his oratory.  It's really not more complex than  that,         3)  Liberals will vote for Obama .  He is their great  hope,       4) Democrats will vote for Obama..  He is the leader of their  party and his coattails will carry them to victory nationwide,       5)  Hispanics will vote for Obama.   He is the path to  citizenship for those who are illegal and Hispanic leaders  recognize the political clout they carry in the Democratic  Party,       6) Union members will vote overwhelmingly for Obama .  He is their  key to money and power in business, state and local  politics,       7) Big Business will support Obama .  They already have.  He  has almost $1 Billion dollars in his reelection purse gained  largely from his connections with Big Business and  is gaining more everyday.  Big Business loves Obama  because he gives them access to taxpayer money so long as they  support his social and political  agenda,       8) The media love him.   They may attack the people  who work for  him, but they love him.  After all, to not love him would  be racist,       9) Most other minorities and special interest groups  will vote for  him. Oddly, the overwhelming majority of Jews and  Muslims will support him because they won't vote  Republican. American Indians will  support him.  Obviously homosexuals tend to vote  Democratic.  And lastly,    10) Approximately half  of independents will vote for Obama. And he doesn't need  anywhere near that number because he has all of the groups  previously mentioned.  The President will win an  overwhelming victory in 2012.     -- Dr.  Walter  Williams                    Obituary-Very Interesting!                         Born 1776, Died 2008     It doesn't hurt to read this several times.     Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline   University School of Law in St.. Paul , Minnesota , points out  some interesting facts concerning   the last    Presidential election:              Number of  States won by: Obama:19 McCain: 29       ·         Square miles  of land won by: Obama:580,000 McCain: 2,427,000     ·             ·         Population of counties won by: Obama:127 million McCain: 143 million     ·             ·         Murder rate  per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2  McCain: 2.1   Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won  was mostly   the land owned  by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Obama territory mostly   encompassed those citizens living in   low income tenements and  living off various   forms of government  welfare..." Olson believes theUnited States is  now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of  Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty  percent of the nation's population already having reached the  "governmental dependency" phase.  If Congress  grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal  invaders called illegal's - and they vote - then we can say  goodbye to the USA in fewer  than five years.   If you are in favor of this, then by all means,  delete this message. If you are not,  then pass this along to help everyone realize just how much  is at stake,   knowing that   apathy is the greatest  danger to our freedom

Donald Trump On Obamacare

No one can sum it up better than Trump   Let me get this straight . . We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't,  which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that is broke!!!!!   'What in the world could possibly go wrong?'

The Year We Lost Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia and Most of the Middle East

The Year We Lost Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia and Most of the Middle East Posted by Daniel Greenfield Bio ↓ on Jan 3rd, 2012  Print This Post A A A About the only people having a Happy New Year in the Muslim world aren’t the Christians who are huddling and waiting out the storm, but the Islamists who use a different calendar, but are having the best time of their lives since the last Caliphate. The news that the Obama Administration has brought in genocidal Muslim Brotherhood honcho Yusuf Al-Qaradawi to discuss terms of surrender for the transfer of Afghanistan to the Taliban caps a year in which the Brotherhood and the Salafists are looking to carve up Egypt, the Islamists won Tunisia’s elections, Turkey’s Islamist AKP Party purged the last bastions of the secular opposition and Libya’s future as an Islamist state was secured by American, British and French jets and special forces. Time Magazine declared that 2011 was the Year of the Protester, they might have more honestly called it the Year of the Islamist. In 2010 the Taliban were still hiding in caves. In 2012 they are set to be in power from Tunisia to Afghanistan and from Egypt to Yemen. They won’t go by that name of course. Most of them will have elaborate names with the words “Justice” or “Community” in them, but they will for the most part be minor variations on the Muslim Brotherhood theme. 2011 will indeed be remembered, but not because of any Arab Spring or OWS nonsense. It will be a pivotal year in the rise of the next Caliphate. A rise disguised by angry protesters waving cell phones and flags. And clueless media coverage that treated Tahrir Square as the new fall of the Berlin Wall. This was the year that Obama helped topple several regimes that served as the obstacles to Islamist takeovers. The biggest fish that Ibn Hussein speared out of the sea for Al-Qaradawi was Egypt, a prize that the Islamists had wanted for the longest time, but had never managed to catch. That is until the Caliph-in-Chief got it for them. Egyptian Democracy splits the take between the Brotherhood and the Salafists, whom the media is already quick to describe as moderates. First up against the wall are the Christians. Second up against the wall are the Jews. Third up is all that military equipment we provided to the Egyptian military which will shortly be finding its way to various “moderate militants” who want to discuss our foreign policy with us. But there’s no reason to sell the fall of Tunisia short or the transition in Yemen. And when mob protests didn’t work, NATO sent in the jets to pound Libya until Al-Qaeda got its way there. Turkey’s fate had been written some time ago, but 2011 was the year that the AKP completed its death grip on the country with a final crackdown on the military, which has now ceased to be a force for stability. Left out of the picture is Somalia. Liberals fulminated when Bush helped drive out Al-Shaab and its jolly Muslim lads with a habit of beheading people who didn’t grow beards or watched too much soccer. Any number of editorials complained that we had destabilized the country and that the Islamic Courts Union were really a bunch of moderates in disguise. Sadly Obama has not been able to salvage the position of Al-Shabab which is low on money and has turned to forcing 12 year old girls into prostitution and torturing and murdering those who refuse. They’re also forcing the elderly to join its militias. But there is good news. Like every terrorist group, Al-Shabab has gotten itself a Twitter account and when O finds 5 minutes in between vacations and golf tournaments, the White House will order neighboring African countries to withdraw their armies and send in Al-Qaradawi to negotiate. But even if the Islamists don’t get Somalia, they’ve got a nice chunk of North Africa to chew over, not to mention a few more slices of the Middle-Eastern pie, and Afghanistan will be back in their hands as soon as they manage to outmaneuver Karzai, which given his paranoia and cunning may admittedly take a while. But the Taliban are not big on maneuvers, they have the manpower, which means it’s only a matter of time until they do what the Mujaheddin did to the puppet Soviet regime. A history that everyone in the region is quite familiar with. The ugliest part of this story isn’t what Obama did. It’s when he did it. If he really had no interest in winning Afghanistan, and if as he had said, the Taliban are not our enemy, then why did we stay for so long and lose so many lives fighting a war that the White House had no intention of winning? The ugly conclusion that must be drawn from the timing of the Iraq and Afghanistan withdrawals is that the wars were being played out to draw down around the time of the next election.
