We felt like this was the perfect time to share this IMPORTANT
story with you. Recently, our good friend Michael (a local realtor)
shared his experience with Lisa and me about an "Obama supporter"
he encountered while showing homes to a low income, working
family in Pontiac , MI .. We asked him to please write it down so
we could share it with you. YOU SHOULD BE SITTING DOWN
WHILE READING THIS:
As a Realtor for the past 28 years I thought I’d seen or heard it all…
Until now. I was showing homes in Pontiac, MI. one afternoon
recently and showed up at a home at the 4:00 pm time my appointment
was scheduled for. After I woke up the homeowner, she let us in and
then proceeded to tell my buyers and me that she has already entered
into a contract to sell the home on a short-sale. (A short-sale is a sale
where the bank accepts less money than is owed on the home). After
some chit-chat, she proceeded to tell us that she and her sister (who
also lived in the area) were buying each other’s homes via the
short-sale process. I mentioned to her that I thought relatives could
not be involved in those transactions. She smiled and said "We have
two different last names so no one knows the difference".
She went on to tell us that each of them owed over 100K on their
homes and were in the process of buying each other’s homes for
about 10-15K cash. To top it off, they were each receiving $3,000.00
in government provided relocation assistance at the closing.
My buyers and I were amazed that she was outright admitting to
fraud and yet, she continued. She began to tell us that the best part
of her scheme was that because they currently were not working that
they (both) are now receiving Section 8 Vouchers. I said I thought
those were for renters and she said “That’s the best part; me and
my sister are going to be renting each other’s homes so we don’t
even have to move, and Obama is going to give us each $800.00
a month to pay the rent!” She then picked up a picture she had
framed of Obama and did a little happy dance around her living
room and while she kissed the picture she was singing
"Thank you Obama.... thank you Obama."
So here is the bottom line… Both of these scammers got at least
$80,000.00 in debt forgiven, $3,000.00 in cash for relocation (when
in fact they did not relocate) and to boot, you and I will now be
paying (through our taxes) $1,600.00 in rent for each them each
and every month.... perhaps forever!
Is it any wonder why so many people have decided that all they
have to do is VOTE for the Democrats and they will be taken care
of for life at the expense of the taxpayers? I would not be at all
surprised if they are receiving food stamps and whatever other
programs are available for anyone who is willing to lie to get assistance.
These women went from working and paying about $900.00 each
in mortgage payments to staying home and getting paid $800.00 each
per month to live in the same home they had been living in and all
they had to do was lie on a few papers. This craziness has to stop!
I’m sure this kind of fraud is going on each and every day all
across the country and no one wants to touch the subject of
entitlements because they might OFFEND someone or lose a
vote or two.
By the way... she had an almost new SUV in the driveway, three
flat screen TV's and a very nice computer set up in her living room
which was furnished entirely with nice leather furniture.
I'TS THE NEW ' AMERICAN WAY for all of the "do-gooder's" who voted for Obama to help the "less fortunate"....CHEERS.....

Famed Baltimore neurosurgeon Dr. Benjamin Carson addressed the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday morning on healthcare. Dr. Carson often criticized Obamacare and government intrusion in healthcare while President Obama sat in the audience. Dr. Carson encouraged a program where newborn babies are given health savings account as an alternative to Obamacare.
DR. CARSON: What we need to do is come up with something simple. And when I pick up my Bible, you know what I see? I see the fairest individual in the universe, God, and he's given us a system. It's called a tithe.
We don't necessarily have to do 10% but it's the principle. He didn't say if your crops fail, don't give me any tithe or if you have a bumper crop, give me triple tithe. So there must be something inherently fair about proportionality. You make $10 billion, you put in a billion. You make $10 you put in one. Of course you've got to get rid of the loopholes. Some people say, 'Well that's not fair because it doesn't hurt the guy who made $10 billion as much as the guy who made 10.' Where does it say you've got to hurt the guy? He just put a billion dollars in the pot. We don't need to hurt him. It's that kind of thinking that has resulted in 602 banks in the Cayman Islands. That money needs to be back here building our infrastructure and creating jobs.

CARSON: Here's my solution: When a person is born, give him a birth certificate, an electronic medical record, and a health savings account to which money can be contributed -- pretax -- from the time you're born 'til the time you die. When you die, you can pass it on to your family members, so that when you're 85 years old and you got six diseases, you're not trying to spend up everything. You're happy to pass it on and there's nobody talking about death panels.
Number one. And also, for the people who were indigent who don't have any money we can make contributions to their HSA each month because we already have this huge pot of money. Instead of sending it to some bureaucracy, let's put it in their HSAs. Now they have some control over their own health care.

I showered and shaved.............. I adjusted my tie.
I got there and sat.............. In a pew just in time.
Bowing my head in prayer......... As I closed my eyes..
I saw the shoe of the man next to me..... Touching my own. I sighed.
With plenty of room on either side...... I thought, 'Why must our soles touch?'
It bothered me, his shoe touching mine... But it didn't bother him much.
A prayer began : 'Our Father'............. I thought, 'This man with the shoes, has no pride.

I saw what was pulled out............ What the shoe man put in.

The sermon really bored me............ To tears, and that's no lie..
It was the same for the shoe man.... For tears fell from his eyes.

Update: Did Chief Beck put his finger on the scale? -- His comments on the mistaken shooting in Torrance risk putting public relations before public accountability.
Whenever there is an officer-involved shooting, we are reflexively asked to withhold judgment until all the evidence comes out. So it is somewhat disconcerting for LAPD Chief Charlie Beck, in providing the first detailed account of the shooting of Margie Carranza and Emma Hernandez in Torrance, to tell the Times in an interview that they were the victims of "a tragic misinterpretation" by officers working under "incredible tension."
We all know the officers made a mistake, or a series of them as the manhunt for Christopher Jordan Dorner unfolded Thursday, but the question is whether their behavior was excusable or not, and whether additional training or even punishment is warranted for the officers, and whether new or better policies and training are needed for all officers.
When Beck says that it's not difficult to imagine how officers who were already on edge could make the mistake these officers did, even if he is not commenting directly on this shooting, he risks, suggesting that he has prejudged their behavior as excusable, a suggestion that is particularly troubling for those who live in communities where officer-involved shootings happen regularly.
The public has a right to a full and impartial investigation and an accounting of what happened before judgment is rendered. That's a basic, first principle, and Beck should do nothing to suggest any deviation from it.
We agree with the Op-Ed author Hector Villagra, Chief Beck should have withheld comment. But Beck apparently wants to immitate former police chief Bratton and wind up with cushy consulting contracts and be a player on a larger stage. Of course, he was playing politics and placing a spin on the situation, but I really wonder if it was on behalf of the LAPD or his own political ambitions?

We are told that the LAPD has the finest training and the best discipline. And yet it all evaporated as a truck rolled down the street delivering papers. What went wrong and why?
Details emerge in LAPD's mistaken shooting of newspaper carriers
The officers' radio crackled with an urgent warning: He could be coming your way. It was around 5 a.m. in Torrance on Thursday and police from nearby El Segundo had seen a pickup truck exit a freeway and head in the general direction of the Redbeam Avenue residence of a high-ranking Los Angeles police official, which was being guarded by a group of LAPD officers.
Police were on the lookout for Christopher Jordan Dorner, a disgruntled ex-cop suspected of hunting down members of the LAPD and their families in a twisted campaign of revenge. The radio call indicated that the truck matched the description of Dorner's gray Nissan Titan.
A few minutes later, a truck slowly rolled down the quiet residential street.
As the vehicle approached the house, officers opened fire, unloading a barrage of bullets into the back of the truck. When the shooting stopped, they quickly realized their mistake. The truck was not a Nissan Titan, but a Toyota Tacoma. The color wasn't gray, but aqua blue. And it wasn't Dorner inside the truck, but a woman and her mother delivering copies of the Los Angeles Times.
This is absolutely unacceptable, police firing on unarmed citizens without any indication of a threat! Bad leadership. Bad police work. Bad weapon discipline. Surely someone would have noticed the make, model and color of the vehicle was wrong. Surely someone could have used a bullhorn to halt the vehicle and execute a “felony stop?” But, they simply opened fire.
The police want military-style arms and paramilitary tactics and discipline – but it all falls apart because they have little training in combat situations. These people would be worthless in an urban combat scenario posed by a riot. More a danger to civilians and themselves than the actual threat.
Beck and others stressed that the investigation into the shooting is in its infancy. They declined to say how many officers were involved, what kind of weapons they used, how many bullets were fired and, perhaps most important, what kind of verbal warnings — if any — were given to the women before the shooting began.
Law enforcement sources told The Times that at least seven officers opened fire. On Friday, the street was pockmarked with bullet holes in cars, trees, garage doors and roofs. Residents said they wanted to know what happened.
"How do you mistake two Hispanic women, one who is 71, for a large black male?" said Richard Goo, 62, who counted five bullet holes in the entryway to his house.
Glen T. Jonas, the attorney representing the women, said the police officers gave "no commands, no instructions and no opportunity to surrender" before opening fire. He described a terrifying encounter in which the pair were in the early part of their delivery route through several South Bay communities. Hernandez was in the back seat handing papers to her daughter, who was driving. Carranza would briefly slow the truck to throw papers on driveways and front walks. Hernandez was shot twice in her back and is expected to recover. Her daughter escaped with only minor wounds from broken glass.
How can the politically correct Police Chief give an account of the incident and still waffle about the details. In any event this is another million dollar mess that the taxpayers will be asked to foot.

Here is the hypocrite who wants to disarm a woman whose violent spouse has sworn to kill her – claiming they can do nothing until the spouse acts -- but is willing to provide a police official named in a rogue cop’s manifesto a cadre of police officers as a protective detail.
Though Beck said he does not doubt the women did not hear any verbal commands, he emphasized that it was still possible the officers did attempt to stop the vehicle before opening fire. And, while not commenting specifically on this shooting, Beck said it was not difficult to imagine how officers who were already on edge could make the mistake these officers did. "As an officer, you look for cues. You know how someone drives normally and then you see someone coming at you slowly, driving in the middle of the street, stopping and starting. That can be misinterpreted," he said.
Beck needs to resign. These officers appeared to show little or no discipline which is necessary in a crisis. And it happened on his watch.
Beck said he had not yet received a detailed briefing, which typically occurs a few days after officer-involved shootings to give investigators time to collect evidence and put together the basic summary of what happened. But he did say that the gunfire occurred in two bursts: The first came from an officer positioned down the block from the LAPD official's residence, and the second when Carranza accelerated away from the gunfire and toward other officers.
Again, Beck needs to resign. One, for shooting his mouth off before he has all of the facts. And, two for attempting to justify the officer’s actions with supposition.
After the investigation is completed, Beck and an oversight board will decide if officers were justified in the shooting or made mistakes that warrant either punishment or training. Jonas estimated that the officers fired between 20 and 30 rounds. Photographs of the back of the truck showed at least two dozen bullet holes. Neighbors, however, suggested there were more shots fired.
These officers need to be re-trained as they cannot be trusted with the safety of residents surrounding an active crime activity. There are any number of returning soldiers who have seen active combat, are used to following orders and probably will have an easier time transitioning into becoming police officers, having faced continuous life-threatening situations, than trying to train police officers in combat discipline with inadequate simulations.
And, the on-site command staff needs to be released for not maintaining proper police protocols involving threat assessment and fire control. Either someone gave a firing command or one person started firing and the others joined in. If a command was given, the officer should be released. If one officer opened up without a credible threat to his life, he needs to be released. The public must be reassured that our police are well-trained and maintain discipline at all times, and especially when facing threats.
Bottom line …
There are thousands of great police officers out there, facing danger each and every day as the patrol streets rife with the potential for gang violence. One must wonder if the officers were just standing around in the open or were they prudently operating from positions of cover? If the wanted subject was targeting this particular high police official, he probably would have noticed the counter-force and left the area – that is unless he was suicidal.
I hate to say anything negative about the hard-working men and women of the LAPD, but we must wonder what is it that we are paying great sums of money for. Chief Beck has shot off his mouth about gun control – with a number of politically correct statements, but when it comes to civilians protecting their own lives, he wants to disarm them. When it comes to protecting the life of a police official, all of a sudden the person is surrounded with a cadre of officers.

The hypocrisy of the liberal mainstream media is on display for all to see.
Citizens need the type of firepower that will combat crazies, criminals and mobs. Here we have the alleged murderer of three people – with a promise of more to come -- spouting leftist gun control nonsense and proving the case that “We the People” need to protect ourselves against well-armed and well-trained crazies and criminals such as himself.
The police are not about to provide an ordinary citizen with a protective detail because their life has been threatened. Too bad you can’t ask those women with protective orders who were killed by their violent husbands because a piece of paper was no real protection against knives, bullets and fists.
And a word about those well-armed, well-trained protectors of the police official whose name appeared in the manifesto – they sprayed a public street with bullets because they believed a slow-moving vehicle (the wrong model, make and color) was the suspect – shooting two innocent women delivering newspapers.
Why does the liberal mainstream media continue to lie for Obama. It’s not about gun control, but crime control involving minority gangs in democrat-controlled inner cities and undetectable crazies like Dorner who are the real problem. Not the millions of law-abiding citizens who require weapons to remain safe in a country where the public employee unions are calling the shots and the police are becoming afraid to do their jobs.

Once again, the President of the United States lied to America, but even worse, abandoned his post as Commander-in-Chief during an attack on Americans on 9/11 in Benghazi …
Listen to how the democrat attempts to deflect and divert attention from the fact that Obama lied to the American public and was AWOL during the battle that cost four Americans, including Libyan Ambassador Stephens his life. We still do not know why certain military commanders were relieved of their commands following this affair.
A look back …
Suddenly, on the campaign trail in Denver on October 26, he [Obama] changed his story. “The minute I found out what was happening . . . I gave the directive,” he said, “to make sure we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to do. I guarantee you everybody in the CIA and military knew the number-one priority was making sure our people are safe.”
Notice the repeated use of the present tense, implying that he gave the order during the attack. Mr. Obama met with his national-security team, including the secretary of defense and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, at 5:00 p.m. Washington time. For over an hour, the consulate staff had been constantly reporting that they were under assault by terrorists and Ambassador Chris Stevens was missing in action. In the White House, group-think leads to the mistaken assumption that the attackers are a spontaneous mob.
An hour after the attack has begun, the president orders the CIA and the military to do “whatever we need to do.” Yet the CIA and the military do nothing, except send drones overhead to watch the seven-hour battle. A CIA employee and former Navy SEAL, Tyrone Woods, twice calls for military help. He has a laser rangefinder and is pinpointing enemy targets, radioing the coordinates. The military send no aircraft to attack the designated targets. Special Operations forces standing by, 480 miles away — less than a two-hour plane ride — are not deployed.
Where are those orders? Why weren’t they followed? Or is the President, once again, lying to save his sorry ass?
Bottom line …
Obama and his fellow travelers need to be held accountable and impeached for dereliction of duty resulting in the deaths of four American citizens. This is either gross incompetence or simply Obama playing politics weeks from a national presidential campaign vote.
Another two important questions: one, why did the Americans turn down offers of help from the Brits who were armed, ready and about 8 klicks away? Two, why did the Americans not use the Commander's In Extremis Force?

As fugitive cop-killer Christopher Dorner remains at large, the internet becomes alive with crazies who are using the actions of a seriously deranged individual to promote their own political causes or to turn his anti-social behavior into some form of mythic heroism.
Let us hope that this unfortunate matter is brought to a conclusion where nobody else is being threatened and Dorner receives the psychiatric help he apparently needs. That is, if the police are not so panicked and are willing to take him into custody rather than shooting first.

They arrived en masse – the liberal power brokers who control Chicago and greatly influence our nation’s public policy. Ostensibly to pay their respects to Hadiya Pendleton, a 15-year old innocent student killed Jan. 29 not all that far from the Obama family home; but all connected with the radical socialist gun control movement. First Lady Michelle Obama, Governor Pat Quinn, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, Father Michael Pfleger, and White House puppet-master Valerie Jarrett, senior adviser to Barack Obama.
The corrupt and dishonest democrats refuse to address the core issue: minority gang violence over drugs, turf and so-called gangsta respect which demands killing your opponents. These are the liberal activists who do not want to upset their Black and Hispanic (the two largest and most violent gang segments) voter base, nor trigger action (Mexico Style) against themselves. Even the democrat-friendly public employee unions appear to be secretly pushing back ideas that call for radical gang control lest they find that the unionized jobs in law enforcement, prisons and the lucrative attorney defense funds drying up. When you consider that “big justice” is a multi-billion dollar industry – as is “big welfare,” you can see where democrat (or even republican) politicians are loath to kill the golden goose.
Here is an innocent little girl being disrespected by the liberal activist swells who are also condemning more people to death by their refusal to deal with gang violence in America, not for a moment realizing that no amount of gun control will curb the crazies and the criminals. Witness the fact that Chicago, the murder capital of the nation, has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation. Producing more victims in gun free zones like parks, schools and in the inner cities.

Last week I purchased a burger at Burger King for $1.58. The counter girl took my $ 2 and I was digging for my change when I pulled 8 cents from my pocket and gave it to her. She stood there, holding the nickel and 3 pennies, while looking at the screen on her register.
