THE PEOPLES PARTY=FAR LEFT POLITICAL PARTY ECLIPSES D PARTY

The People’s Party? Are We Witnessing The Birth Of A New Far Left Political Party In The United States?

Are we witnessing the birth of another new political party in the United States?  The election of Barack Obama was the spark which fueled the rise of the Tea Party back in 2009, and since that time the Tea Party has become a major league force inside the Republican Party.  Now the Occupy Wall Street movement is rapidly becoming more organized and many believe that "The People's Party" is going to be to the Democrats what the Tea Party is to the Republicans.  Others believe that "The People's Party" could accomplish what a lot of organizations in the past have tried and failed to do - launch a third political party which could successfully break the stranglehold that the "two party system" has on American politics.  It would certainly not be an easy thing to do, but there can be no doubt that Occupy Wall Street is now a major political force in America.  The Occupy Wall Street movement has spread to 100 cities inside the United States and to nearly 1000 cities around the world.  Certainly as the weather gets colder the protests will die down, but there are an increasing number of signs that Occupy Wall Street is becoming very organized and that it plans to be a major political force for years to come.(Read More.....)

OWS A COMMUNIST MOVEMENT RUN BY SOCIALISTS

Solid Evidence That Occupy Wall Street Is A Communist Movement Run By Socialists Who Wish To Bring Down The Free Enterprise System

Is Occupy Wall Street a communist movement?  Is it being run by socialists who wish to bring down the free enterprise system?  As you will see in this article, the answer to both questions is yes.  Of course many of the people participating in these protests want nothing to do with either socialism or communism.  Many of the protesters are simply angry at the big banks or they just want something to be done about the economy.  But the truth is that when you take a close look at the "organizers", the literature and the stated goals of this movement, you see socialism and communism everywhere.  As our economic system crumbles, an increasing number of Americans are coming out of the woodwork and are proudly declaring that they are socialists or communists.  An increasing number of Americans truly believe that the free enterprise system needs to be brought down and that the answer to our problems is to fully embrace socialism and/or communism.  Sadly, this puts Occupy Wall Street in direct opposition to what our founding fathers intended.(Read More.....)

Congress n Feds Living the High Life at R Expense

10 Mind Blowing Facts Which Show How Members Of Congress And Federal Employees Are Living The High Life At Our Expense

If you were asked to guess, what area of the United States would you say has the highest average income?  New York City?  Los Angeles?  Silicon Valley?  Well, would you believe that it is actually the Washington D.C. area?  Median household income in the region is $84,523, which is the highest in the nation.  One of the biggest reasons for this are the huge salaries being pulled down by federal employees in the Washington D.C. area.  According to the latest numbers, the average federal employee in the D.C. area brings in total compensation worth more than $126,000 a year.  Of course members of Congress are even doing far better than that.  Most of the members of Congress are millionaires, and somehow the vast majority of our politicians leave Washington D.C. far wealthier than when they arrived.  So if you want to live the high life, you might want to move to the Washington D.C. area.  Our "representatives" in Congress and the bureaucrats that work for the federal government are swimming in cash, and it is all at our expense. (Read More.....)

OWS Protesters: N. Korea Better Than S. Korea!

OWS Protesters: N. Korea Better Than S. Korea!

north korea
There is Stupid, and then there is Occupy Wall Street Stupid.
These OWS protesters argue with an interviewer, who grew up in the Soviet Union and knows firsthand the horrors of socialism, that life in North Korea is better than in South Korea and socialism should replace capitalism. Apparently they think living in an Orwellian police state with  mass starvation is a good thing. After listening to the stupid and blatantly false statements uttered by the protesters, I was surprised they were capable of actually finding Wall Street. I suggest they spend some time protesting in North Korea and see how the authorities there respond!

Liberalism at work again! SCREW THE TAX PAYER 4 VOTES

While access to education has made America a first world country, liberals and Union thugs have used public education as their own private piggy bank.

How would you like this gig?  Work one day as a substitute teacher and earn a pension of over $100,000 a year!  Sounds unbelievable?

From the Chicago Tribune:

Two lobbyists with no prior teaching experience were allowed to count their years as union employees toward a state teacher pension once they served a single day of subbing in 2007, a Tribune/WGN-TV investigation has found.
Steven Preckwinkle, the political director for the Illinois Federation of Teachers, and fellow union lobbyist David Piccioli were the only people who took advantage of a small window opened by lawmakers a few months earlier.
The legislation enabled union officials to get into the state teachers pension fund and count their previous years as union employees after quickly obtaining teaching certificates and working in a classroom. They just had to do it before the bill was signed into law.
Preckwinkle's one day of subbing qualified him to become a participant in the state teachers pension fund, allowing him to pick up 16 years of previous union work and nearly five more years since he joined. He's 59, and at age 60 he'll be eligible for a state pension based on the four-highest consecutive years of his last 10 years of work.
His paycheck fluctuates as a union lobbyist, but pension records show hisearnings in the last school year were at least $245,000. Based on his salary history so far, he could earn a pension of about $108,000 a year, more than double what the average teacher receives.
His pay for one day as a substitute was $93, according to records of the Illinois Teachers Retirement System.
Over the course of their lifetimes, both men stand to receive more than a million dollars each from a state pension fund that has less than half of theassets it needs to cover promises made to tens of thousands of public school teachers. With billions of dollars in unfunded liabilities, the Illinois Teachers' Retirement System, which serves public school teachers outside of Chicago, is one of several pension plans that are in debt as state government reels in a fiscal crisis.
A spokesman for the Illinois Federation of Teachers emphasized that the lobbyists' actions were legal and that they made "individual decisions."
Even so, union President Dan Montgomery said the deal Preckwinkle and Piccioli landed "should never be allowed again." But the union, which provides its employees with a private 401(k)-type plan, is standing by the lobbyists' right to have access to the public pension.
"They entered TRS under the law and are participating members of TRS. As a TRS employer, the IFT is required to make the payments to TRS," the union said in a statement.

This is Chicago at work.  This is Democrat politics at its finest.  These two gamed the system and will most likely collect millions from the taxpayers over the remainder of their lives.  Those millions could have gone to hire more teachers and educate students.

Of course, the unions do not care about that.  All they want is for the gravy train to keep rolling.

This is just another reason why public employee unions should be sent to the ash heap of history and why public employees should never be allowed to unionize.

Libya's liberation: interim ruler unveils more radical than expected plans for Islamic law

Mustafa Abdul-Jalil, the chairman of the National Transitional Council and de fact president, had already declared that Libyan laws in future would have Sharia, the Islamic code, as its "basic source".
But that formulation can be interpreted in many ways - it was also the basis of Egypt's largely secular constitution under President Hosni Mubarak, and remains so after his fall.
Mr Abdul-Jalil went further, specifically lifting immediately, by decree, one law from Col. Gaddafi's era that he said was in conflict with Sharia - that banning polygamy.
In a blow to those who hoped to see Libya's economy integrate further into the western world, he announced that in future bank regulations would ban the charging of interest, in line with Sharia. "Interest creates disease and hatred among people," he said.
Gulf states like the United Arab Emirates, and other Muslim countries, have pioneered the development of Sharia-compliant banks which charge fees rather than interest for loans but they normally run alongside western-style banks.
In the first instance, interest on low-value loans would be waived altogether, he said.
Libya is already the most conservative state in north Africa, banning the sale of alcohol. Mr Abdul-Jalil's decision - made in advance of the introduction of any democratic process - will please the Islamists who have played a strong role in opposition to Col Gaddafi's rule and in the uprising but worry the many young liberal Libyans who, while usually observant Muslims, take their political cues from the West
