One Citizen Speaking...

Posted: 07 Sep 2012 01:14 AM PDT
Now, the first time I addressed this convention in 2004, I was a younger man; a Senate candidate from Illinois who spoke about hope, not blind optimism or wishful thinking, but hope in the face of difficulty; hope in the face of uncertainty; that dogged faith in the future which has pushed this nation forward, even when the odds are great; even when the road is long.
I had no real experience in the private sector, in foreign affairs and scant experience as a legislator – most of the time voting with my party or “present” to avoid leaving a record that could be used against me. I was a blank canvas upon which the nation projected their own hopes and aspirations for a better America. I received a Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing. I was little more than an empty suit reading the words written by others on a TelePrompTer. My associations with criminals, domestic terrorists, anti-White, anti-America, anti-Semitic ministers mattered little. I was the Teflon man – nothing stuck to me.
Eight years later, that hope has been tested, by the cost of war; by one of the worst economic crises in history; and by political gridlock that's left us wondering whether it's still even possible to tackle the challenges of our time.
I still have the Nobel Peace Prize but have done nothing to earn it. Our nation was severely tested by my political party who had a majority in the House and the Senate. Refusing to work with the Republicans to do the people’s work. I have taken a bad situation and made it infinitely worse.
But when all is said and done, when you pick up that ballot to vote, you will face the clearest choice of any time in a generation. Over the next few years, big decisions will be made in Washington, on jobs, the economy; taxes and deficits; energy, education; war and peace, decisions that will have a huge impact on our lives and our children's lives for decades to come.
And on every issue, the choice you face won't be just between two candidates or two parties. It will be a choice between two different paths for America. A choice between two fundamentally different visions for the future.
You will have the choice of my Soviet-style central planning which has always proven to be a failure. Where all of the big decisions will be made in Washington, on jobs, the economy, taxes and deficits; energy, education; war and peace, decisions that will have a huge impact on our lives and our children’s lives for decades to come. Well that’s not exactly true. As President and being a rich and powerful person with unlimited earning potential when I am out of office, I am not affected by any legislation that I passed or might pass in the future. My healthcare is guaranteed by the government. My physical security is guaranteed by the government. When I travel to big-money speaking engagements I will be protected and secure. You, on the other hand, take your chances with physical security, healthcare and employment. But know this, the government stands ready to offer you a safety net if you falter – in return for a large portion of the fruits of your labor and most of your assets when you die. Don’t think of this as taxes, but insurance for an uncertain future.
And when the house of cards collapsed in the Great Recession, millions of innocent Americans lost their jobs, their homes, their life savings, a tragedy from which we are still fighting to recover. Now, our friends down in Tampa, at the Republican convention, were more than happy to talk about everything they think is wrong with America, but they didn't have much to say about how they'd make it right.
I want you to believe that those obstructionist Republicans kept you from saving your home, your job and your assets meant for your retirement. I don’t want you to see that I owned both the House and Senate for the first two years of my administration and did little or nothing to help your survive. I don’t want you to know that the democrats in the Senate deliberately failed their constitutionally-mandated duty to pass a budget. Never mind that three years have passed and the budget still has not been passed. It doesn’t event exist. Unlike the pesky Paul Ryan’s budget which was passed by the House and bottled-up in the Senate. See what we saved you from – cuts in government spending. I’m sorry I mentioned government spending because I spent more money than all of the other Presidents to-date, combined, and there is no end in sight if I remain in office.
Speaking about remaining in office, no matter if I stay or go, I will leave behind an embedded cadre of socialists and communists to carry on my work. The destruction of a colonial America and the wealth redistribution which must occur for reparations.
Now, I've cut taxes for those who need it, middle-class families, small businesses. But I don't believe that another round of tax breaks for millionaires will bring good jobs to our shores, or pay down our deficit. I don't believe that firing teachers or kicking students off financial aid will grow the economy, or help us compete with the scientists and engineers coming out of China.
I am lying through my teeth. My social programs insure that small businesses are adversely impacted by considering everyone earning above $250,000 per year a millionaire. I don’t care if American businesses are afraid to invest capital in an uncertain future or that retroactive rules, regulations and taxes may kill jobs and cost them their companies. And speaking of teachers, I don’t want you to know that students in China are rewarded in proportion to their scholastic achievements rather than getting a “red star” for just attending classes. Or that the bulk of educational funds do little or nothing to improve classrooms, but do everything to secure the votes of teachers’ unions who I have promised ever-increasing salaries, healthcare and benefits. Exempting them from Obamacare using waivers I have already told the Department of Health and Human Services to issue. Financial aid to students is a ruse. It is just another way to funnel government funds into the educational infrastructure so socialist political theory attains parity with physics and mathematics.
And by the way, those of us who carry on his party's legacy should remember that not every problem can be remedied with another government program or dictate from Washington.
But know this, America: Our problems can be solved.
Funny! My administration has made an attempt to solve every problem with an expanding government program and dictates from Washington. We have no constitutional authority to do much of what we actually do, but since we control the funds, we will pay you to play nice and do what we say or no more money. Yes, our problems can be solved. But not by corrupt politicians with their heads buried in the Washington beltway.
I've worked with business leaders who are bringing jobs back to America, not because our workers make less pay, but because we make better products. Because we work harder and smarter than anyone else.
Hush … forget that the head of my Jobs Council, General Electric’s Jeffrey Immelt, is outsourcing highly paid jobs to China while he receives government grants, subsidies and fat contracts. After all, his GE-owned media supported me – even when they knew I was lying. Who else would offer to buy those dodgy vehicles from General “Government” Motors when we needed to show the media we turned around the company? Pay no attention to the fact that the former car company is not a union-run pension fund with an attached car company as a funding vehicle. Tee Hee … I made a funny.
I've signed trade agreements that are helping our companies sell more goods to millions of new customers, goods that are stamped with three proud words: Made in America.
What I don’t want you to know I that I destroyed the value of a dollar – so these new foreign customers can buy more for less. Sort of a reverse Wal-Mart situation. And I certainly don’t want you to know that we borrowed money from the Chinese to loan to foreign governments so they could purchase American products from our special interests such as General Electric.
America, I never said this journey would be easy, and I won't promise that now. Yes, our path is harder, but it leads to a better place. Yes our road is longer, but we travel it together. We don't turn back. We leave no one behind. We pull each other up. We draw strength from our victories, and we learn from our mistakes, but we keep our eyes fixed on that distant horizon, knowing that Providence is with us, and that we are surely blessed to be citizens of the greatest nation on Earth.
Of course this journey into mediocrity and unexceptionalism will not be easy. We are all about managing the scarcity that we create; never thinking about growing ourselves out of debt. Yes, you will all share in the misery that we will create. But rest assured, your politicians and union employees will hardly be affected because their lives are guaranteed to be rosy. I am saying providence because I dare not say “God” as it will anger at least half of my fellow travelers – I mean democrats – and some Muslims might be offended because everyone will think I am referring to the Judeo-Christian God upon whose principles this country was founded.
Thank you, God bless you, and may God bless these United States.
Had to say it. It is tradition. And I am sure those who know what’s in my heart will forgive me.
Bottom line …
Pretty words.
Empty concepts.
Bald-faced lies.
Inability to execute the simplest of programs.
The recession was ending as you took office. You took a bad situation and made it worse.. You didn’t concentrate on repairing the nation’s finances – you took out foreign loans and spent it buying union votes and campaign funds from special interests. You stole BILLIONS from senior citizens to fund your healthcare initiative which guaranteed that if you weren’t sick, you soon would be when you saw the price of healthcare insurance soar and a program of cost-containment resulting in claim denials, procedure delays and, in some cases, death.
Go home to crime-ridden Chicago where your party has ruled with an iron-first; stealing and squandering money meant for the inner cities which has become decaying cesspools of crime, drug use, poverty, disease, no jobs except for government positions and stupid people who continue to vote for the democrats.
May God have mercy upon the American people if Barack Hussein Obama (if that is his legal name) remains in the Presidency. If nothing else, we need to take back the Senate to roadblock the socialist road to hell.

I was wondering why the public should address politicians, judges and other high-ranking public officials as “honorable.”
1.  They are performing a job like any other job in America. Nothing special here except their working on the public’s dime.
2.   As a class of public worker, few politicians or elected officials really are “honorable.” Truth-in-Advertising should prevail.
3.   The Constitution of the United States prohibits the granting of titles. Article I, Section 9 provides "No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States."
Bottom line …
I have no problem using an official title such as President, Judge, Senator, etc., but I draw the line at calling these people “honorable.” Because the great majority of them are not honorable and will do or say anything to gain or maintain political power. Most politicians are beholden to the special interests and unions and will make decisions based on their future campaign support and party affiliation rather than represent their constituency.
In fact, some politicians in the Congressional Black Caucus are, by definition, racist because that organization’s agenda is to push perks and privileges to a class of people based on nothing more than their race and color. The same could be said of all of the Congressional caucuses; which, in my opinion, should be abolished as corrupt, time-wasting, obstructionist distractions from the real job at hand.
Therefore, I propose to retire the appellation “honorable.” Especially for a class of public servants which have proved themselves to be, in the aggregate, dishonorable in intent and action.

A Partial List Of Obama's Executive Orders
JUNE 15, 2012 BY LAURIE ROTH

There have been over 900 Executive Orders put forth from Obama, and here are just some of them:

* Executive Order 10990 allows the Government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.

* Executive Order 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.

* Executive Order 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels, and minerals.

* Executive Order 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.

* Executive Order 11001 allows the government to take over all health education and welfare functions.

* Executive Order 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.

* Executive Order 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.

* Executive Order 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate and establish new locations for populations.

* Executive Order 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways, and public storage facilities.

* Executive Order 11049 assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issues over a fifteen-year period.

* Executive Order 11051 specifies the responsibility of the Office of
Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.

* Executive Order 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute Industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.

* Executive Order 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit, and the flow of money in U.S. financial institutions in any undefined national emergency.
It also provides that when the president declares a state of emergency,
Congress cannot review the action for six months.
It is more than clear that Obama is planning for the total control and takeover of America via Martial Law. Food, energy, transportation, work, banking, and health. He has it covered.
While Obama is busy pulling executive orders out of the sky to control everything inside our country, he has been issuing executive orders to force us to submit to international regulations instead of our Constitution.
Sher Zieve exposed this in one of her recent articles. Damn the U.S. Constitution, damn the American people and damn U.S. sovereignty.
Obama has got to be defeated in November.
