Omar Espejo Flores aka " El Toro" now confined in El Rincon prison in Nayarit

The Attorney General of the Republic (PGR) , in coordination with the Marines , arrested Omar Espejo Flores , " El Toro", an alleged operator for Cartel Jalisco Neuvo Generacion, he is presumably responsible for the disappearance of two members of the Agencies criminal investigation department (AIC) , in Vista Hermosa Michoacán in November 2013.

Tomás Zerón, director of the AIC of the PGR, reported that Espejo Flores was coordinating the Halcones  and groups of Hitmen in the Jalisco municipalities of Ocotlán and La Barca, Briseñas; He also did it in the michoacana town of Vista Hermosa.

Other criminal activities in which  El Toro was involved, was the collection of piso ( extortion ), oil theft and drugs. The official said that the detainee was involved in the kidnapping and disappearance of agents René Rojas Marquez and Gabriel JAWS Santiago,  on November 3, 2013, in Vista Hermosa.

To date the whereabouts of these two personnel of the Agency is unknown, they were searched for in clandestine graves that were discovered at La Barca.

Last year, the Office of the Attorney-General found 64 corpses in 35 clandestine graves in the municipality of La Barca, as part of the search for the Federal Police, the work concluded almost a month later.

Zeron said the arrest was made possible by the coordinated actions with the attorney specializing in research on organized crime (Seido) and the Mexican Marina, which led to intelligence placing Espejo Flores in Zapopan, Jalisco. El Toro was surprised when captured without a shot fired whilst driving down an avenue inside a luxury sedan on 18 December.

"This person had an arrest warrant arising from the disappearance of the two members of the Agency's Criminal investigation team Rene Rojas Marquez and Gabriel Quijada Santiago, on November 3, 2013, this was in Michoacan, and those who were detained, unarmed and deprived of freedom by municipal police of Vista Hermosa, they then delivered them to members of organized crime", Zeron said.

He said that because of these facts, the PGR stopped almost in its entirety the municipal police of Vista Hermosa, linked to these facts, and those who are today held in two federal prisons, where they face charges of organized crime and illegal deprivation of liberty, among other crimes.

From the statements of some of the soldiers, Omar Flores took an active part in the disappearance of federal troops.

"His arrest was achieved without a single shot. It is known that he constantly changed his place of residence; However, we identified that he continued performing as a manager of the criminal group in the above-mentioned municipalities.

"As an important part in this criminal organization, his specialization was the coordinating of groups of Halcones, hitmen and cartel members, in addition to kidnappings, fuel theft, collection of piso ( extortion) and the transfer of drugs".

El Toro was consigned by the agent of the public prosecutor's Office to prison number 4, El Rincón, in Tepic, Nayarit, where will be processed for the crimes of kidnapping and organized crime.

Two of my all time favorite posada photos.  Santa always arrives on a firetruck, and the foto below is a shot of a lil guy in a wheelchair when he spots Santa and the firetruck....PRICELESS!!!

This year I was able to provide over 1000 children with posada fun.  For most it is one of the few highlights of the year.  We also provided gifts for impoverished children, we requested that schools  provide a wish list for children who more than likely would not receive a special gift at Christmas.  many asked for things such as shoes and jackets.  and we did not forget the migrants in the casa migrante shelters.  We sent gifts of clothing, candy and phone cards, and provided Christmas dinners.  My project continues, that honors the 72 migrants slaughtered in San Fernando Tamps.  Anyone wishing  to become involved or begin their own project, just email me, I will help you get started.

I encourage you to get involved next year, donate, find a charity, ask me if you want a recommendation.  It's a wonderful thing, and for one day we can feel good that we were able to do something and bring a little happiness to the children and the forgotten of Mexico.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a fantastic night...............................cheers, Chivis

Mexico Still Mourns

By Guadalupe Loaeza
I am wondering if Peña Nieto’s government is aware to what degree the disappearance of the 43 teachers college students has permeated Mexican society. I imagine that many of them no longer have the head, right now, to think about such traumatic things; others will follow the advice of their boss. That’s to say, get over the Ayotzinapa tragedy. And I won't fault anyone whose only concern these days is to watch his back. Many will be without a job in 2015.

As I do every year, last Sunday I took my grandchildren to see “The Nutcracker” at the National Theater. Once seated, I gave myself a task: to watch all the people filled with holiday cheer as they entered the theater to admire the last performance of Tchaikovsky’s famous ballet, the music of which is so familiar to us that even the most ignorant can recall a fragment. Most of the attendees were children and adolescents, bundled up and accompanied by their families. The atmosphere inside the enormous auditorium, with space for 10,000 people, was festive and Christmassy.

For my part, I was a deeply gratified grandmother surrounded by my six grandchildren, two of my sons, my daughter-in-law and Paloma Figueroa, the young professional dancer. With that same festive mindset, I watched young grandmothers wearing 100 percent wool coats with furs and carrying Coach or Marc Jacob purses. Many greeted and waved to each other from afar. The show was only minutes away from beginning.

Suddenly, the lights went down and at the stage’s illuminated center appeared a group of young people holding two banners, one with the hashtag #Yamecansé [Enough, I'm tired]** written on it and on the other could be read the words, “Stop impunity.” Daniel Castillo, in evening wear, spoke on behalf of his fellow members of the National Dance Company:
"Mexico is mourning the unsustainable and heartbreaking impunity that has become a daily story and that violates our citizenry."
With perfect diction, his words echoed all across the auditorium.

A profound silence fell over us. No one moved in their seats, not the children and especially not the adults. The power of Castillo’s words and the audience’s silence united all of us. Castillo, whose image was projected in color on two enormous screens placed on either side of the stage, continued,
"Mexico, we are no longer just mourning the disappeared teacher college students, but those of Aguas Blancas, San Fernando and the children at the ABC nursery***,"
"I want to read a poem written by one of our company members, the ballerina Sonia Jiménez."
At that moment, and despite my wearing a red sweater, I felt dressed in black from head to toe.
We are mourning,
We are the cry of our dead,
We are the blood shed on fertile land,
We are the silence on the verge of exploding.
Today we do not recognize the ground on which we stand,
The falling rain does not erase the mistakes,
Our eyes don't wipe away the truth,
We live blindfolded, we have sold-out,
We speak with the breath of our bodies.
Turn off the lights. Mexico is mourning.
As if moved by an gigantic, invisible spring, the public rose to its feet,  “One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine…,” until it reached number 43, which they memorialized with their fists raised.

The applause was an enormous and deep expression of our condolences. Everyone was mourning. Everyone felt even more tired than Murillo Karam for all the corruption and impunity. And all of us represented “the cry of our dead.”

I envisioned backstage: 170 dancers of the National Dance Company and the students of the National School of Classical and Contemporary Dance, elegantly dressed as the characters of the ballet’s epoch, applauding. I was imagining the company’s five principal dancers—Agustina Galizzi, Ana Elisa Mena, Mayuko Nihei, Blanca Ríos and Erick Rodríguez—mourning. Those who appeared particularly sad were José Luis González, Mariana Garce and Sofía Villarreal, who that night were saying goodbye to the company, which was celebrating 50 years of putting on the Christmas ballet. Also, I imagined “Clara,” the protagonist of Hoffmann’s tale, the little rodents, the tin soldiers, and the Nutcracker himself mourning, applauding in honor of the 43 disappeared.
"Why did you get so sad all of a sudden, Mamá Lú?, one of my granddaughters asked me.
"Because Mexico continues to mourn," I replied.
I have the impression that my granddaughter did not understand me. Then, the curtains opened and the show began.

**Reference to offhand remark of Attorney General Murillo Karam at the end of the press conferece at which he announced that arrested members of the Warrriors United cartel confessed they had murdered the 43 Ayotzinapa students and burned their bodies. The remark was immediately turned against him on the social media and in the press.

***Aguas Blancas was the massacre by police of protesting farmers in Guerrero in 1995. San Fernando was the massacre, in 2010, of 72 Central American migrants by the Zetas cartel with the collusion of local police. The ABC nursery fire, in 2009, possibly the result of local officials' attempt to destroy records in an adjoining store room, resulted in the deaths of 49 infants and young children and the injuring of 70 more.

Attacks on Priest Continues

Missing Priest, Rev. Gregorio Lopez Gorostieta

Borderland Beat posted by DD from AP, and ABC News and Sin Embargo

Dozens of Roman Catholic priests and hundreds of parishioners marched through the southern Mexico city of Ciudad Altamirano on Wednesday to demand the release of a kidnapped priest and protest a series of kidnappings, killings and robberies of priests.

The marchers were led by Bishop Maximino Martinez and about 30 white-robed priests. They called for the release of the Rev. Gregorio Lopez Gorostieta, who apparently was kidnapped from a local seminary early Monday morning by a group of four armed persons who entered the Catholic seminary that morning.

Bishop Maximino Martinez
On Monday when the Bishop issued the call for the Wednesday march, the church also used social media to spread the message;
“To the whole people of God on pilgrimage to the diocese of Ciudad Altamirano, they are told of the disappearance of the father Gregorio Lopez Gorostieta, on the night of Sunday December 21, so at this time what is important is to unite us all in prayer with the confidence that he is okay. If anyone has information that can help locate him please call the seminar”.

In his call for the faithful to join the march, he also said called for an end to the violence in Tierra Caliente and for the release of Father Gregorio.  He also said he does not think that there is any direct problem against the priests, in spite of the cases that have happened in last years, “ because we devote ourselves to serve the people either God, to preach the gospel, we do not do anything more, our work is the redemption of the person ”.

He added that "on the occasion of Christmas, it is very important that we manifest in the march that we call for peace for our country, and to set aside all this atmosphere of violence".

"Enough Already!" and "Return Father Gregorio!" read banners carried by the marchers, who sang hymns as they marched to the city's cathedral.

"Enough, is the cry of all the bishops of Mexico and the diocese.  Enough of those who provoke lawlessness, corruption, impunity of complicity and indifference while all they have done to provoke violence, fear and disappearance, 'the document says.

seminary in Ciudad Altamirano, Mexico
Lopez Gorostieta's pickup truck was found abandoned and locked near the main plaza which is also near the seminary, but no blood stains were found inside.  The church has filed a crime report with police, but the motive remains unclear.

"We haven't received any demand for ransom," said Martinez, who noted his diocese "has suffered a lot" from the drug cartel violence that has made the hotlands region of southern Guerrero state one of the most dangerous in all of Mexico.

At least two priests have been killed in Guerrero state this year and several others have been abducted, robbed or wounded in robbery attempts.

In September, 2009 the father Habacuc was murdered, in Arcelia, when he was travelling with two young people who were for students training to be seminarians and who were also killed by gun shots.  That  mobilized  the church to demonstrate.

On that occasion the church in a document condemned 'the violence that is plaguing our country' and demanded 'to the corresponding authorities, at all levels of Government, carry out a prompt investigation and find those responsible for this cowardly crime'.

From our faith, we express the certainty that the father Habacuc Hernández, and seminarians Eduardo Oregón Benitez and Silvestre González, who were with him are already in the presence of the heavenly father', added the document

In September of this year, the battered body of the Rev. Ascension Acuna Osorio was found floating in the Balsas river near his parish of San Miguel Totolapan, near Ciudad Altamirano. Guerrero state prosecutors said the priest's body had head wounds, but it was unclear whether they were caused by the body being dragged by the current, or whether he had been killed before being dumped in the river. Prosecutors have offered the diocese no further explanation of his death.

Residents of San Miguel Totolapan told reporters that Acuna Osorio was well-liked in the town, but they were afraid to speak any further about him. The town is an area dominated by the Guerreros Unidos drug cartel, which has been implicated in the mass killing of 43 students in September in the nearby city of Iguala.

The area is so dangerous that Bishop Martinez said one priest had been briefly kidnapped in the mountains above San Miguel Totolapan by cartel gunmen who complained the priest had been speaking in favor of "La Familia" — the name of a rival drug cartel.

The priest had to quickly explain he had been preaching in favor of family values, and keeping the family together as a social nucleus, and was not talking about the rival cartel.  He was then released.

Earlier this year, another priest was injured when gunmen sprayed his truck with bullets on a local road; the priest's driver was killed in that attack.

The Rev. Oscar Prudenciano, a parish priest in the city of Iguala, said he survived a similar attack on a highway in May 2013, when he was headed to a baptism. Cartel gunmen pulled him over, apparently because they wanted to steal his truck. They dragged him off and were apparently going to kill him; the priest was only saved because a rival group of gunmen showed up and a gunfight broke out, allowing Prudenciano time to escape. "I thought they were going to kill me," he said. "I ran for my life."

While everyone is vulnerable to robberies on the region's roads, some attacks appear more specifically directed at the church, especially priests who refuse to perform quickie marriages or baptisms for drug gang members.

"At times, if they ask for a baptism and you don't do it, they start to threaten you," Martinez said. "They want a marriage, or a blessing" for a car or a home, he said, and won't take 'no' for an answer.”

About the precautionary measures he is recommending the bishop told  the priests, make sure that "all their vehicles are labeled.  Do not leave late at night on the roads.     That take great care and tell someone where you are going.  That not you refuse the services of the Church such as baptism or marriage, because finally the grace of God will come if those people are with God, beyond what they do to the priest'.

Some deaths remain a mystery. Ugandan priest Rev. John Ssenyondo, 55, had been kidnapped earlier this year after saying Mass, when a group of people in an SUV intercepted his car.

His body was later identified as one of 13 found in a clandestine grave discovered Nov. 2 in the town of Ocotitlan.

Church officials believe some attacks, in fact, may be intended to discourage priests from protesting the rampant violence.

Monsignor Ramon Castro, the bishop of the diocese of Cuernavaca, just to the north of Guerrero, said that after the church organized a march against violence in which thousands took part in March, armed men kidnapped workers from three separate parishes in nearly simultaneous attacks the next day. They were released hours later.

"We think that was a kind of warning, to tell us to keep quiet," Bishop Castro said.

CHRISTMAS 2014 IN THE HOLY LAND: AS MUSLIMS TRY TO KILL JEWS, CHRISTIANS, AND EVEN OTHER MUSLIMS.

Posted: 23 Dec 2014 03:53 PM PST

As we approach the end of 2014, we find the pro-Muslim, anti-Israel Administration paying lip service to the Jews that have supported Barack Obama and his cadre of progressive socialist democrats. Even in the face of overwhelming evidence that our government is trying to disadvantage one of our staunchest democratic allies in the Middle East, Israel, in favor of terrorists whose charter demands the destruction of Israel.

The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement (August 18, 1988)

The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement was issued on August 18, 1988. The Islamic Resistance Movement, also known as the HAMAS, is an extremist fundamentalist Islamic organization operating in the territories under Israeli control. Its Covenant is a comprehensive manifesto comprised of 36 separate articles, all of which promote the basic HAMAS goal of destroying the State of Israel through Jihad (Islamic Holy War).

The following are excerpts of the HAMAS Covenant:

Goals of the HAMAS: 'The Islamic Resistance Movement is a distinguished Palestinian movement, whose allegiance is to Allah, and whose way of life is Islam. It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine.' (Article 6)

On the Destruction of Israel:  'Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.' (Preamble)

The Exclusive Moslem Nature of the Area:  'The land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf [Holy Possession] consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgment Day. No one can renounce it or any part, or abandon it or any part of it.' (Article 11) 'Palestine is an Islamic land... Since this is the case, the Liberation of Palestine is an individual duty for every Moslem wherever he may be.' (Article 13)

The Call to Jihad:  'The day the enemies usurp part of Moslem land, Jihad becomes the individual duty of every Moslem. In the face of the Jews' usurpation, it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised.' (Article 15)

'Ranks will close, fighters joining other fighters, and masses everywhere in the Islamic world will come forward in response to the call of duty, loudly proclaiming: 'Hail to Jihad!'. This cry will reach the heavens and will go on being resounded until liberation is achieved, the invaders vanquished and Allah's victory comes about.' (Article 33)

Rejection of a Negotiated Peace Settlement: '[Peace] initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement... Those conferences are no more than a means to appoint the infidels as arbitrators in the lands of Islam... There is no solution for the Palestinian problem except by Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are but a waste of time, an exercise in futility.' (Article 13)

Condemnation of the Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty:  'Egypt was, to a great extent, removed from the circle of struggle [against Zionism] through the treacherous Camp David Agreement. The Zionists are trying to draw other Arab countries into similar agreements in order to bring them outside the circle of struggle. ...Leaving the circle of struggle against Zionism is high treason, and cursed be he who perpetrates such an act.' (Article 32)

Anti-Semitic Incitement:  'The Day of Judgment will not come about until Moslems fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: 'O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.' (Article 7)

Just as a Leopard does not change its spots, Palestinians will not abandon their Islamic faith that commands them to destroy apostates, Jews, Gentiles, and anyone else that does not accept the subjugation of their unreformed, unrepentant religion.

Any United Nations action taken on behalf of a belligerent state that inures to the benefit of the belligerent would be morally reprehensible and cannot be justified even by the vote of a majority of member-states.

Once again, the ever articulate Alan Caruba puts a fine point on the situation now before the United Nations … [My comments in blue italic]

Trying to Use the UN to Destroy Israel

By Alan Caruba

The right of Israel to exist as a nation was officially recognized by the United Nations on November 29, 1947 when it adopted Resolution 181 favoring the partition of the area claimed by the Zionist movement. The resident Arabs refused to accept the land set aside for a "Palestinian" state.

The British “mandate” of the area dated from the Versailles Treaty in 1919. Previously the Balfour Declaration was issued by the British government, favoring the establishment of a Jewish national home in what was then referred to as Palestine.

[Sad, but true, no nation wanted an influx of displaced Jews. And, it should be understood that the British sympathies were with the Arab nations and that the demarcation boundaries were created by essentially anti-Jewish-Semites with the idea that the Arab states would make short work of any new Jewish state created in the region. Unlike the popular perception of the United Nations as an international organization for resolving differences among its member-states and promoting peace; the majority of the member-states are not democracies and do not share American values. America is at a continuing disadvantage in most United Nations’ resolutions and that after allowing the U.N to locate in New York and funding a major portion of their budget. To believe that the United Nations would give the tiny member-state of Israel any preferential treatment over people who are essentially terrorists, is to believe in the concept of a Muslim democracy – an impossibility under the Qur’an.]

In 1946 following World War Two and in the wake of the Nazi Holocaust that killed six million Jews in Europe President Truman announced his support for the creation of a Jewish state. Throughout 1947 the United Nations Special Commission on Palestine had examined the issues involved and recommended the partition of Palestine into a Jewish and an Arab state.

The Arabs, then and now never ceased to oppose the existence of a Jewish state. To have a state of their own would require acknowledging Israel and that is why, to this day, there is no Palestinian state, nor ever was one.

In the wake of several Jewish revolts against the Roman Empire, Emperor Hadrian changed the name of Judea, Samaria and the Galilea to “Syria Palaestina” and the name of Jerusalem to “Aelia Capitolina.” The name change did nothing to eliminate Israel whose restoration remained an active dream for two millennia.

Now, having refused to come to any agreement with Israel despite years of negotiations and the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza to give the Palestinians living space in addition to an area in the West Bank, the Arab League is turning to the United Nations.

In the years since the 1947 resolution the U.N. has long engaged in anti-Israel activities. As Anne Bayefskywrote in the Jerusalem Post, “From November 24, 2014 until December 5, 2014, the UN human rights headquarters in Geneva mounted a public exhibit that was pure incitement. UN-driven anti-Semitism that takes the form of seeking to demonize, disable and ultimately destroy the Jewish state.”

“The exhibit was entitled: ‘La Nakba: Exode et Expulsion des Palestinians en 1948’ or ‘The Nakba: Exodus and Explusion of the Palestinians in 1948.’ The occasion was the annual UN Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

Solidarity Day marks the adoption by the General Assembly on November 29, 1947 of the resolution that approved the partitioning of Palestine into an Arab and a Jewish state.” It was rejected by Arab states. “Thus,” wrote Ms. Bayefsky, “the Arab war to deny Israel’s right to exist began.”

The day following the Fatah (formerly the Palestinian Liberation Organization) announcement of its intent to seek a U.N. resolution, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met with a delegation from the Arab League to discuss the resolution that sets a timeline for an Israeli withdrawal to its pre-1967 borders. Indeed, they want to declare East Jerusalem as the Palestinian capital and want the assurance that “refugees” could “return”. The Obama administration has been the first to break with the long tradition of good will and solidarity that has existed between the U.S. and Israel.

[I view John Kerry as a “dishonest broker,” a self-serving venal man who wants nothing more than adulation and to add a Nobel Peace Prize to his accomplishments. Unlike President Obama, and PLO President Yasser Arafat before him, the Prize has ceased to be an award that recognizes achievement and has become little more than a “political” tool to promote international socialism and reward those who accomplish little or nothing – like Barack Obama.

Of course, Israel’s enemies want a return to pre-1967 borders as that would make the country virtually indefensible and susceptible to being bifurcated with ground troops in hours. In geographical terms, nine miles is like point-blank range for modern weaponry.

And, as for the right of return, let us not forget that when Israel declared statehood, many of the Arab residents simply abandoned their homes and businesses; believing that the Arabs would overrun and destroy Israel, and then they could return to Arab lands. Unfortunately, history has proven them wrong and they became refugees in foreign Arab lands. One need only look at how small a footprint Israel is on a map when compared with surrounding Arab lands. And, if one looks back historically, you will see that these so-called refugees belong in the Transjordan region and that Jordan proactively ejected the “Palestinians” as being politically active as terrorists and attempting to overthrow the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

“The term Black September refers to the Jordanian Civil War that began in September 1970 and ended in July of 1971. The conflict was fought between the two major components of the Jordanian population, the Palestinians represented by the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) under the leadership of Yasser Arafat and the native Jordanians represented by the Jordanian Armed Forces under the leadership of King Hussein.  At its core the civil war sought to determine if Jordan would be ruled by the Palestine Liberation Organisation or the Hashemite Monarchy. The war resulted in the deaths of thousands of people, the vast majority Palestinian. Armed conflict ended with the expulsion of the PLO leadership and thousands of Palestinian fighters to Lebanon.” <Source>”

[Lebanon, once described as the “Switzerland of the Middle East” has been thoroughly decimated by Palestinian agitation and subsequent terrorist actions.]

“As early as the mid-1950s, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Libya expelled striking Palestinian workers. In 1970, Jordan expelled some 20,000 Palestinians and demolished their camps; in 1994-95, Libya expelled tens of thousands of long-term Palestinian residents in response to the Oslo process; and after the 2003 Iraq war, some 21,000 Palestinians fled the country in response to a systematic terror and persecution campaign. As recently as 2007, Beirut effectively displaced 31,400 Palestinian refugees when the Lebanese army destroyed the Nahr el Bared refugee camp during fighting between the militant Fatal al-Islam group and the Lebanese army.” <Source>

[The truth is that Arab states do not want to have anything to do with the Palestinians and their aggression and terrorism. They cannot found their own state due to the lack of a cohesive infrastructure in spite of billions of dollars of international aid being pumped into their coffers. In fact they produce nothing of value and export only terrorism. They bemoan their wretched existence and keep the fight alive – mostly to encourage international contributions from the Arab states that do not want them as citizens and European nations that often view contributions as acceptable anti-Jewish-Semitism by proxy.]

As Rabbi Aryah Spero noted in a December 17 CNS News commentary, “Despite the partnership between the terrorist organizations Hamas and Fatah (the new name for Arafat’s PLO) some European nations are demanding that Israel immediately accede to the Hamas/Fatah demands or they will proceed in the U.N. to declare a Palestinian State and impose on Israel conditions that will not only strip her of her capital, Jerusalem, but place Israelis in instant jeopardy from rockets launched against her from this newly declared state abutting Israel. Like Gaza before, this newest Palestinian state will become a terrorist state and a proxy of Iran.”

European anti-Semitism is steeped in centuries of enmity and it is reasserting itself again within the living memory of the Nazi Holocaust that sought to kill every Jew in Europe. U.S. pressure is a major departure from decades of support for Israel. At the same time President Obama has lifted sanctions against Iran, giving it more time to develop nuclear weapons he has been threatening sanctions against Israel if it continues to permit the construction of housing in Jerusalem.

The Arab demand that it is the heir to “Palestine” and that Jerusalem is a holy city is absurd. As Rabbi Spero notes, “Unlike the Jewish Bible that mentions Jerusalem over 700 times, the Koran never mentions Jerusalem, even once. Jerusalem is simply a location they conquered and has become, as with other places, a symbol of Islamic power and control over Judaism and Christianity.” By this thinking, the Arabs should demand the return of Spain which they had also conquered.

In sum, the Arab League, Europe, and Obama's U.S. policy want Israel to accept terms that amount to suicide.

That is not going to happen. The months and years ahead will be no less filled with the kind of turmoil and threats that Israel has lived with since it declared its independence in 1948. A world that turns its back on Israel is asking for its own apocalyptic destruction.

Bottom line …

We have no better friend in the region than Israel. No other nation of its size and resources has returned so much to humanity: in medicine, in art, in science, and in the creation of a democracy that provides for the equality of all of its citizens. Likewise, with the exception of former President Jimmy Carter, have we seen such an anti-Israel stance by an American government. With an American President being trained and mentored by socialists, communists, anti-Semites, and domestic terrorists.

We are truly living in dangerous times, made more so by the President’s incoherent foreign and domestic policies. But on one thing we must be clear. America cannot give in to terrorist demands to forsake Israel in her time of need; facing an existential threat of an Iranian nuclear weapon and being forced to accept a “peace” accord with those who think nothing of lobbing missiles at innocent women and children.

It is time to stand up and be counted.

NEW YORK PROGRESSIVES TO TEACH MANNERS ON BUSES AND TRAINS WITH SEXIST PLACARDS

Posted: 23 Dec 2014 11:28 AM PST

Sometimes liberalism knows no bounds, and in many cases demands that the nanny state teach you commonsense manners …

MTA New York City Transit Unveils New Courtesy Counts Campaign

Standing Clear of Doors, Removing Backpacks on Crowded Trains and Using Only One Seat are some of the Reminders Customers will See Starting in January

MTA NYC Transit is unveiling its “Courtesy Counts, Manners Make a Better Ride” placard campaign which urges customers to be aware that just a few courteous actions can make trains and buses run more efficiently while creating an atmosphere that can make a daily commute more pleasant and less stressful.

In January, a series of placards will begin appearing inside subway cars and then buses and the commuter railroads in February. They will bear gentle, but firm reminders pointing out common courtesies that can make traveling by mass transit more enjoyable for everyone. The messages serve to remind the MTA’s 8.6 million daily customers that they can help make the trip quicker and more pleasant by demonstrating a personal, consistent commitment to courtesy.

“Courtesy is always important but it takes on an added significance as transit ridership continues to increase,” said NYC Transit President Carmen Bianco. “The simple act of stepping aside to let riders off the train before you board can trim valuable seconds from the time a train dwells in a station while removing a backpack makes more room for everyone. These acts serve to speed the trip while increasing the level of comfort.”

The new program, developed by MTA Corporate Communications, highlights behaviors that are both encouraged and discouraged for the benefit of everyone. The messaging largely reflects complaints and suggestions from riders.

The colorfully-designed placards employ simple graphics to illustrate behavioral “do” and “don’t” scenarios. The illustrations are reinforced with pithy statements.

Do’s include:

• “Step Aside to Let Others Off First”

• “Keep Your Stuff to Yourself”

• “Take Your Pack Off Your Back”

• “Offer Your Seat to an Elderly, Disabled, or Pregnant Person”

• “Take Your Litter Off With You” • “Keep the Sound Down”

No No’s include:

• “Pole Are For Your Safety, Not Your Latest Routine”

• “Clipping? Primping?”

• “Don’t be a Pole Hog”

• “It’s a Subway Car Not a Dining Car”

• “Blocking Doors”

• “Dude…..Stop the Spread, Please

The 46-inch or 72-inch placards will be installed on 2,600 subway cars and plans are currently underway to add subway car announcements to the campaign. Additional campaigns will be created for buses and both the Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North Railroad. All of the topics and suggestions are intended to raise rider awareness of what they can do to create a better trip for everyone. The placards will be consistent reminders that courteous behavior is in everybody’s best interest for a more comfortable trip.

Dude?

mss

I find this transit card to be sexist …

Where is the gender equality that the progressives demand from all local, state, and government agencies?

What about dudetts? And the gays and transgengendered?

ws

Bottom line …

Teaching New Yorkers about manners is like putting lipstick on a pig: it doesn’t do anything to improve the pig’s looks and it annoys the pig!

LIBERAL ANTI-GUN PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: STEAL YOUR PARENT'S GUN, BRING IT TO SCHOOL

Posted: 22 Dec 2014 04:46 PM PST

The lengths to which progressive socialist democrats will go to nullify the Constitution’s Second Amendment and disarm the law-abiding public is surreal...

In this instance, we find a liberal filmmaker, Rejina Sincic, urging children to steal their parents loaded weapons, place them in a backpack where they could easily discharge, bring them to school, and give them to a teacher.

Can the creator of this video be serious when she places the lives of children at risk by encouraging illegal, immoral, and unethical behavior? If any child should be killed or injured as a result of viewing this video, the filmmakers should be prosecuted for contributory negligence.

If you see this video aired on any television station, you may want to complain to the Federal Communications Commission and allege that this PSA is an instructional video that appears to be a clear inducement to commit a criminal act.

Can you count the number of laws broken by this idiotic public service announcement?

  • Theft of a firearm.
  • Possession of a firearm by a minor.
  • Concealed carry of a firearm without a concealed carry permit.
  • Illegal transport of a firearm.
  • Bringing a weapon onto school property.
  • Brandishing a firearm and assaulting a teacher.

The consequences of this foolish attempt to make an anti-gun statement can be devastating …

Not only does the child endanger himself and others around him – possibly causing grievous injury or death, but the unaware parent may be forced to spend thousands of dollars in attorney’s fees to keep the child out of jail and/or provide an alternate method of schooling when the child is expelled under the “zero tolerance” policy that may be in effect in the child’s school system.

Yes, let’s punished law-abiding parents for the sins of liberal filmmakers.

Note: A responsible parent should have placed a gun lock on the weapon or stored it in a locked container.

ssPublic Service Video on reducing gun violence in schools and communities. This PSA was produced by Sleeper13 Productions.

Sleeper 13 Productions is a collaborative production company founded by 3 Bay Area filmmakers - Bethany Line, Rejina Sincic, and Roy Wanguhu - who are very passionate about filmmaking and believe that collaboration is key to the success of any project.

Rejina Sincic is an Indian film director and screenwriter based in San Francisco. Her production company is Rejina Productions and is also the Co-Founder of Sleeper13 Productions. She completed her bachelors in Film Studies from University of Utah in 2006. She often works with Roy Wanguhu whom she met while working on “Forest of Eden” She has worked on a variety of projects including TV, short films, commercials, corporate videos and feature films. Rejina has a great passion for filmmaking and is always looking to collaborate with creative people who have the same drive. <Source>

Bottom line …

This does nothing to stop gun violence since statistics show that most of the gun-related violence is actually perpetrated by minorities in the inner cities where progressive socialist democrats have imposed harsh gun control measures, but have done little to directly confront the problems of criminality and minority gangs – in reality, domestic terrorists threatening their neighborhoods.

This is the type of “feel good” liberalism that is damaging our country and making us more vulnerable to criminals and foreign attackers. Yes, foreign attackers – the kind that attack people in support of their unreformed “religion of peace.”
