AMERICA'S HUNTING ARMY Pretty Amazing!

A blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and arrived at a striking conclusion: There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin...

Allow me to restate that number: 600,000!

Over the last several months, Wisconsin 's hunters became the 8th largest army in the world.

(That’s more men under arms than in Iran. More than France and Germany combined.)

These men, deployed to the woods of a single American state, Wisconsin, to hunt with firearms, And NO ONE WAS KILLED.

That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of Pennsylvania's and Michigan's 700,000 hunters,
ALL OF WHOM HAVE RETURNED HOME SAFELY.

Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia, and it literally establishes the fact that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world.  And then add in the total number of hunters in the other 46 states. It's millions more.

_____ The point? ________

America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower!
Hunting... it's not just a way to fill the freezer.     It's also a matter of national security.

That's why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed.   Food for thought, when next we consider gun control.  Overall it's true, so if we disregard some assumptions that hunters don't possess the same skills as soldiers, the question would still remain...

What army of 2 million would want to face 30 million, 40 million, or 50 million armed citizens???

For the sake of our freedom, don't ever allow gun control or confiscation of guns.

(If you agree, as I do, pass it on, I feel good that I have an army of millions who would protect our land, and I sure don't want the government taking control of the possession of firearms.)

AMERICA Designed by geniuses.     Now run by idiots.

The Clinton Mafia by Charles Krauthammer...

Think about your vote in November........"As Rome so go we"

Charles Krauthammer explained the Clinton Mafia on Bill O'Reilly, but it was too quick for me to get it all. Here it is in  print.
What is your outlook regarding this Clinton Foundation?
Charles Krauthammer: The Clinton Foundation is Organized Crime.
Charles Krauthammer is a brilliant man.  Really brilliant.  A man of character who lives his life in a Wheelchair.  Among other careers, he is a doctor of psychiatry.  He was a devoted Democratic activist and presidential advisor.  An independent thinker who won the Pulitzer Prize.

He has both liberal and conservative stances and writes a weekly column in the National Review which is syndicated to 400 newspapers. He has been a regular panelist on a variety of programs, including Fox News.  Mr. Krauthammer is an independent thinker and has become a  neoconservative.
Please read this article.
Charles Krauthammer on Hillary Clinton:

Recently, Charles Krauthammer alluded that he had no doubt some of the 30k emails Hillary deleted from her private e-mail server very likely had references to the Clinton Foundation, which would be illegal and a conflict of interest.
The Clinton Foundation is "organized crime" at its finest. Here is a good, concise summary of how the Clinton Foundation works as a tax free international money laundering scheme. It may eventually prove to be the largest political criminal enterprise in U.S. History.
This is a textbook case on how you hide foreign money sent to you and repackage it to be used for your own purposes. All tax free.
Here's how it works:
1. You create a separate foreign "charity." In this case, the Clintons set it up in Canada.

2.  Foreign oligarchs and governments, then donate to this Canadian charity. In this case, over 1,000 did, contributing mega millions. I'm sure they did this out of the goodness of their hearts, and expected nothing in return.  (Imagine Putin's buddies waking up one morning and just deciding to send untold millions to a Canadian charity)

3. The Canadian charity then bundles these separate donations and makes a massive donation to the Clinton Foundation.

4. The Clinton Foundation and the cooperating Canadian charity claim Canadian law prohibits the identification of individual donors.

5. The Clinton Foundation then "spends" some of this money for legitimate good works programs.  Unfortunately, experts believe this is on the order of 10%.  Much of the balance goes to enrich the Clintons, pay salaries to untold numbers of hangers on, and fund lavish travel, etc. Again, virtually tax free, which means you and I are subsidizing it.

6. The Clinton Foundation, with access to the world's best accountants, somehow fails to report much of this on their tax filings. They discover these "clerical errors" and begin the process of re-filing 5 years of tax returns.

7. Net result: foreign money goes into the Clintons' pockets tax free and untraceable back to the original donor. This is the textbook definition of money laundering. Oh, by the way, the Canadian "charity" includes as a principal one Frank Giustra. Google him.  He is the guy who was central to the formation of Uranium One, the Canadian company that somehow acquired massive U.S. Uranium interests and then sold them to an organization controlled by Russia . This transaction required U.S. State Department approval, and guess who was Secretary of State when the approval was granted.
As an aside, imagine how former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell feels.  That poor schlep is in jail because he and his wife took $165,000 in gifts and loans for doing minor favors for a guy promoting a vitamin company. Not legal but not exactly putting U.S. Security at risk.
Sarcasm aside, if you're still not persuaded this was a cleverly structured way to get unidentified foreign money to the Clintons, ask yourself this: Why did these foreign interests funnel money through a Canadian charity? Why not donate directly to the Clinton Foundation? Better yet, why not donate money directly to the people, organizations and countries in need?
This is the essence of money laundering and influence peddling. Now you know why Hillary's destruction of 30,000 e-mails was a risk she was willing to take. Bill and Hillary are devious, unprincipled, dishonest and criminal and they are Slick!
Warning: They could be back in the White House in January 2017. Don't let it happen. Remember, most people are not well informed. We must inform and educate them.

OBITUARY THIS IS SAD---- BUT THINK ABOUT IT AFTER YOU READ IT ...

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the

University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the

Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior: "A democracy is always

Temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent

Form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until

The time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous

Gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority

Always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from

The public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally

Collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a

Dictatorship."

 From bondage to spiritual faith;

From spiritual faith to great courage;

From courage to liberty;

From liberty to abundance;

From abundance to complacency;

From complacency to apathy;

From apathy to dependence;

From dependence back into bondage."

The Obituary follows:

" United States of America ",  Born 1776, Died 2016

It doesn't hurt to read this several times.

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in

St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning

The last Presidential election:

Number of States won by:         Obama: 19               Romney: 29

Square miles of land won by:    Obama: 580,000      Romney: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million  Romney: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:

Obama: 13.2             Romney: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory

Romney won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low

Income tenements and living off various forms of government

Welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the

"complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of

Democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population

Already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase..

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million

Criminal invaders called illegal’s  - and they vote - then we can say

Goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years  .

If you are in favor of this, then by all means, delete this message.

If you are not, then pass this along to help everyone realize just how

Much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our

Freedom..

Hillary promises to give more taxpayer money away as gifts to those who pay little or no taxes.  Trump promises to let taxpayers keep more of their hard earned money and help those who pay little or no taxes to earn their own money.  If Hillary wins-----------------

this country, as we knew it as a youth, is gone forever.

There will be those who read this that will say these things never happened. You will have to be the judge! Read all the way to the end.

There certainly has been lots of discussion about Obama's leadership but not a lot of coverage about his thoughts on security.  This might surprise you.

The single most prominent characteristic of contemporary America is that common sense has been abandoned to political correctness and "feelings".

As President George W. Bush's top speech writer, Marc Thiessen was provided unique access to the CIA program used in interrogating top Al Qaeda terrorists, including the mastermind of the 9/11attack, Khalid Sheikh Mohammad (KSM).

Now, his riveting new book, "Courting Disaster", How the CIA Kept America Safe (Regnery), has been published. Here is an excerpt from "Courting Disaster":

"Just before dawn on March 1, 2003, two dozen heavily armed Pakistani tactical assault forces move in and surround a safe house in Rawalpindi. A few hours earlier they had received a text message from an informant inside the house. It read: "I am with KSM."

Bursting in, they find the disheveled mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, in his bedroom. He is taken into custody. In the safe house, they find a treasure trove of computers, documents, cell phones and other valuable "pocket litter."

Once in custody, KSM is defiant. He refuses to answer questions, informing his captors that he will tell them everything when he gets to America and sees his lawyer. But KSM is not taken to America to see a lawyer Instead he is taken to a secret CIA "black site" in an undisclosed location.

Upon arrival, KSM finds himself in the complete control of Americans. He does not know where he is, how long he will be there, or what his fate will be. Despite his circumstances, KSM still refuses to talk. He spews contempt at his interrogators, telling them Americans are weak, lack resilience, and are unable to do what is necessary to prevent the terrorists from succeeding in their goals. He has trained to resist interrogation.

When he is asked for information about future attacks, he tells his questioners scornfully: "Soon, you will know."

It becomes clear he will not reveal the information using traditional interrogation techniques. So he undergoes a series of "enhanced interrogation techniques" approved for use only on the most high-value detainees. The techniques include water-boarding.

He begins telling his CIA debriefers about active al Qaeda plots to launch attacks against the United States and other Western targets. He holds classes for CIA officials, using a chalkboard to draw a picture of al Qaeda's operating structure, financing, communications, and logistics. He identifies al Qaeda travel routes and safe havens, and helps intelligence officers make sense of documents and computer records seized in terrorist raids.

He identifies voices in intercepted telephone calls, and helps officials understand the meaning of coded terrorist communications. He provides information that helps our intelligence community capture other high-ranking terrorists.

KSM's questioning, and that of other captured terrorists, produces more than 6,000 intelligence reports, which are shared across the intelligence community, as well as with our allies across the world.

In one of these reports, KSM describes in detail the revisions he made to his failed 1994-1995 plan known as the "Bojinka plot" to blow up a dozen airplanes carrying some 4,000 passengers over the Pacific Ocean.

Years later, an observant CIA officer notices the activities of a cell being followed by British authorities appear to match KSM's description of his plans for a Bojinka-style attack.

In an operation that involves unprecedented intelligence cooperation between our countries, British officials proceed to unravel the plot.

On the night of Aug. 9, 2006 they launch a series of raids in a northeast London suburb that lead to the arrest of two dozen al Qaeda terrorist suspects. They find a USB thumb-drive in the pocket of one of the men with security details for Heathrow airport, and information on seven Trans -Atlantic flights that were scheduled to take off within hours of each other:

United Airlines Flight 931 to San Francisco departing at 2:15 PM
Air Canada Flight 849 to Toronto departing at 3:00 PM
Air Canada Flight 865 to Montreal departing at 3:15 PM
United Airlines Flight 959 to Chicago departing at 3:40 PM
United Airlines Flight 925 to Washington departing at 4:20 PM
American Airlines Flight 131 to New York departing at 4:35 PM
American Airlines Flight 91 to Chicago departing at 4:50 PM

They seize bomb-making equipment and hydrogen peroxide to make liquid explosives. And they find the chilling martyrdom videos the suicide bombers had prepared.

Today, if you asked an average person on the street what they know about the 2006 airlines plot, most would not be able to tell you much. Few Americans are aware of the fact al Qaeda had planned to mark the fifth anniversary of 9/11 with an attack of similar scope and magnitude. And still fewer realize the terrorists' true intentions in this plot were uncovered thanks to critical information obtained through the interrogation of the man who conceived it: Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

This is only one of the many attacks stopped with the help of the CIA interrogation program established by the Bush Administration in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

In addition to helping break up these specific terrorist cells and plots, CIA questioning provided our intelligence community with an unparalleled body of information about al Qaeda Until the program was temporarily suspended in 2006, intelligence officials say, well over half of the information our government had about al Qaeda; how it operates, how it moves money, how it communicates, how it recruits operatives, how it picks targets, how it plans and carries out attacks-came from the interrogation of terrorists in CIA custody.

Former CIA Director George Tenet has declared: "I know this program has saved lives. I know we've disrupted plots. I know this program alone is worth more than what the FBI, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the National Security Agency put together have been able to tell us."

Former CIA Director Mike Hayden has said: "The facts of the case are that the use of these techniques against these terrorists made us safer. It really did work."

Even Barack Obama's Director of National Intelligence, Dennis Blair, has acknowledged: "High-value information came from interrogations in which those methods were used and provided a deeper understanding of the al Qaeda organization that was attacking this country."

Leon Panetta, Obama's CIA Director, has said: "Important information was gathered from these detainees. It provided information that was acted upon."

John Brennan, Obama's Homeland Security Advisor, when asked in an interview if enhanced-interrogation techniques were necessary to keep America safe, replied: "Would the U. S. be handicapped if the CIA was not, in fact, able to carry out these types of detention and debriefing activities, I would say yes."

On Jan. 22, 2009, President Obama issued Executive Order 13491, closing the CIA program and directing that, henceforth, all interrogations by U. S. personnel must follow the techniques contained in the Army Field Manual.

The morning of the announcement, Mike Hayden was still in his post as CIA Director, He called White House Counsel Greg Craig and told him bluntly: "You didn't ask, but this is the CIA officially non-concurring". The president went ahead anyway, over ruling the objections of the agency.

A few months later, on April 16, 2009, President Obama ordered the release of four Justice Department memos that described in detail the techniques used to interrogate KSM and other high-value terrorists. This time, not just Hayden (who was now retired) but five CIA directors-including Obama's own director, Leon Panetta objected. George Tenet called to urge against the memos' release. So did Porter Goss.

So did John Deutch. Hayden says: "You had CIA directors in a continuous unbroken stream to 1995 calling saying,'Don't do this.'"

In addition to objections from the men who led the agency for a collective 14 years, the President also heard objections from the agency's covert field operatives. A few weeks earlier, Panetta had arranged for the eight top officials of the Clandestine Service to meet with the President.

It was highly unusual for these clandestine officers to visit the Oval Office, and they used the opportunity to warn the President that releasing the memos would put agency operatives at risk.

The President reportedly listened respectfully-and then ignored their advice.

With these actions, Barack Obama arguably did more damage to America's national security in his first 100 days of office than any President in American history.

But how many people know this? ... Only the few that read this email from beginning to end!

Our country will not be safe unless we make a Change in November.

Teleprompter Trump is the best Trump.

That’s what we’ve learned over the past three weeks, as Trump has shelved his freewheeling, on-the-fly routine in favor of a more planned attack strategy on Hillary Clinton and the legacy of Barack Obama. He did it again with aplomb on Wednesday, speaking in Philadelphia about national security.

Trump led off by attempting to seize the mantle of Ronald Reagan – part of a broader attempt to effect a rapprochement with disaffected conservatives. He invoked Reagan’s “Peace Through Strength,” then added, “I am proposing a new foreign policy focused on advancing America’s core national interests, promoting regional stability, and producing an easing of tensions in the world. This will require rethinking the failed policies of the past.”

Disavowing Bush-esque nation-building, Trump instead said that “our actions in the Middle East will be tempered by realism. The current strategy of toppling regimes, with no plan for what to do the day after, only produces power vacuums that are filled by terrorists.” This is correct, of course – but it is a shift from his statements in support of Hillary Clinton’s Libyan war, for example.

Trump went on to declare that while he has no current plan to defeat ISIS, his generals – the same ones about whom he said, “I know more about ISIS than the generals do” – would devise a plan to rid the world of ISIS within thirty days. Speaking in broad generalities, Trump said he would disown Obama’s “apology tour,” instead working to “proudly promote our system of government and our way of life as the best in the world – just like we did in our campaign against communism during the Cold War. We will show the whole world how proud we are to be American.”

This is the sort of language that originally drew Republicans to Trump – the patriotic verbiage so disdained by President Obama and his post-patriotic order. It’s a departure for Trump, who said in the recent past that American exceptionalism was an offensive term to other countries. But it’s good material, nonetheless. His speechwriters have been doing their best to shave off Trump’s sharper edges, and it’s working well.

Then Trump turned left. Attempting to outflank Hillary Clinton from both sides – right on patriotism, left on warfare – Trump said, “Unlike my opponent, my foreign policy will emphasize diplomacy, not destruction. Hillary Clinton’s legacy in Iraq, Libya, and Syria has produced only turmoil and suffering…. Sometimes it has seemed like there wasn’t a country in the Middle East that Hillary Clinton didn’t want to invade, intervene or topple. She is trigger-happy and unstable when it comes to war.”

This is patent nonsense. Hillary’s legacy has produced turmoil and suffering, but except in Libya, that isn’t the result of militarism – it’s the result of diplomacy. Assad is still in power. Iraq is a disaster zone because of a precipitous pullout. Afghanistan received a fake surge from Obama, but that’s about it. Hillary was Secretary of State, not Secretary of Defense, meaning that her diplomacy was the problem. But Trump’s foreign policy is an odd combination of Pat Buchanan-esque isolationism and brash bellicosity, so presumably it makes sense to him.

Trump was at his best, as always, while attacking Hillary head-on. He bashed her for her recklessness regarding her private server, quoted last Friday’s devastating FBI document dump, and concluded, “Her conduct is simply disqualifying.” All true.

But again as always, Trump’s diagnosis may be correct but his prescription is spotty. He slammed the Obama administration for cutting the defense budget, then said he would attempt to eliminate the defense sequester – a solid idea, but one that would come with a blowout budget that the Democrats would negotiate on the other end. To cover the cost of additional defense spending, Trump blithely assured Americans that he would “ask Congress to fully offset the costs of increased military spending. In the process, we will make government leaner and more responsive to the public.” Where would such offsets come from? From waste and fraud, of course! That means nothing, other than increased deficits.

Trump’s policy on NATO is similarly incoherent. He stated that he’d be “requesting that all NATO nations promptly pay their bills,” including leveraging additional cash from Germany, Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia. He didn’t say what he’d do to leverage that cash, but presumably he’d threaten to abandon them to the whims of America’s enemies, as he’s stated before.

Trump did get highly specific about his proposed defense budget, however:

We will build an active Army of around 540,000, as the Army’s chief of staff has said he needs. We now have only 31 Brigade Combat Teams, or 490,000 troops, and only one-third of combat teams are considered combat-ready. We will build a Marine Corps based on 36 battalions, which the Heritage Foundation notes is the minimum needed to deal with major contingencies – we have 23 now. We will build a Navy of 350 surface ships and submarines, as recommended by the bipartisan National Defense Panel – we have 276 ships now. And we will build an Air Force of at least 1,200 fighter aircraft, which the Heritage Foundation has shown to be needed to execute current missions – we have 1,113 now. We will also seek to develop a state of the art missile defense system.

This is excellent. And Trump was similarly specific about cybersecurity, classification rules (“Nothing threatens the integrity of our Democracy more than when government officials put their public office up for sale”), and assessment of strategic vulnerabilities.

Finally, he concluded with a veiled reference to Colin Kaepernick and Barack Obama’s support for him: “And we will follow their example of unity. We will work across all racial and income lines to create One American Nation. Together, we will have one great American future. We will be one people, under one God, saluting one American flag.”

Overall, it was another excellent speech from Trump. Whoever has been keeping him on a leash is doing a spectacular job of it, especially given what we know about Trump’s pathological inability to control himself. The polls reflect a tightening race. While Trump still has a steep hill to climb, he’s at least trying to climb it publicly. He still hasn’t built the campaign infrastructure necessary to prevail, but he’s becoming the more disciplined candidate so many people have been seeking for months.
