I don't think this could have been said any better and it definitely is about time someone said it. Hopefully, this will go out over EVERY computer in the U.S. and maybe, just maybe, these sports people will get the message of just how ridiculous they are to disrespect our flag, and how little what they do in sports compare to what our great military has done for this country.. I missed the '90-'91 season because I was with a battalion of Marines in Desert Storm. 14 of my wonderful Marines returned home with the American Flag draped across their lifeless bodies. My last conversation with one of them, Sgt. Garrett Mongrella, was about how our Giants were going to the Super Bowl. He never got to see it. Many friends, Marines, and Special Forces Soldiers who worked with or for me through the years returned home with the American Flag draped over their coffins. Now I watch multi-millionaire athletes who never did anything in their lives but play a game, disrespect what brave Americans fought and died for. They are essentially spitting in the faces and on the graves of real men, men who have actually done something for this country beside playing with a ball and believing they're something special! They're not! My Marines and Soldiers were! You are complicit in this! You'll fine players for large and small infractions but you lack the moral courage and respect for our nation and the fallen to put an immediate stop to this. Yes, I know, it's their 1st Amendment right to behave in such a despicable manner. What would happen if they came out and disrespected you or the refs publicly? I observed a player getting a personal foul for twerking in the end zone after scoring. I guess that's much worse than disrespecting the flag and our National Anthem. Hmmmmm, isn't it his 1st Amendment right to express himself like an idiot in the end zone? Why is taunting not allowed yet taunting America is OK? You fine players for wearing 9-11 commemorative shoes yet you allow scum on the sidelines to sit, kneel or pump their pathetic fist in the air. They are so deprived with their multi-million dollar contracts for playing a freaking game! You condone it all by your refusal to act. You're just as bad and disgusting as they are. I hope Americans boycott any sponsor who supports that rabble you call the NFL. I hope they turn off the TV when any team that allowed this disrespect to occur, without consequence, on the sidelines. I applaud those who have not. Legends and heroes do NOT wear shoulder pads. They wear body armor and carry rifles. They make minimum wage and spend months and years away from their families. They don't do it for an hour on Sunday. They do it 24/7 often with lead, not footballs, coming in their direction. They watch their brothers carted off in pieces not on a gurney to get their knee iced They don't even have ice! Many don't have legs or arms. As of last week, at least 18 NFL player had protested the anthem by either kneeling during the anthem or raising their fists, according to USA Today Sports. What has happened to Fox News? Why is it following the Left...?

The following was sent to Fox News from its contact place on its Website: What has happened to Fox News? Why is it following the Left in its characterization of the Charlottesville protests? Is straight news reporting finally slipping away from Fox News, as it has in most of the rest of the former media? I have heard reporting and comments on a number of programs, all condemning the White Supremacy group as terrorist group. Oh, everyone is up in arms. Even the commentators usually relied up as blasting away. But I have heard no reports or comments condemning the Opposition Group as a terrorist group. What is the Opposition Group? Who named it? Why is it not called by its real name, as the White group is called? Isn't it made up of Black Lives Matter, that so respected group? Is it not made up of other groups that have been rioting on college campuses and in the streets? Are those groups not terroristic? Are they not racist? I am not in favor of the White Supremacy group. If you erase it, that would be fine. But we have gone for many months and even years of protest from various groups on the Left and they have not been reported or commented on as terrorist groups. The White Supremacy group had permission to hold a gathering. The Left groups have never had permission to hold gatherings or protests. They just appear, hurt people, stop people from their business and burn and otherwise damage private and public buildings and property. If the Left group, as always paid, had not appeared in Charlottesville, there would have been no deaths, injuries or destruction. All of the blame cannot go to one side. So why not erase it, too? As to the spineless Republicans and other government and congressional officials and those talking asses on television programs who criticize President Donald Trump for his statement, they should be smarter, more fair and even loyal. For instance, they should respect the president for not indulging in what Barack Obama indulged in many, many times: convicting people before even a few of the facts were learned. How soon we forget. A Fox reporter even went so far as to cast doubt on the statement of the mother of the arrested driver of the car that plowed into the crowd. He said she had been interviewed by The Associated Press — that certainly unbiased news agency — and told reporters that she didn't know of the son's intentions. He said she may know more than she was admitting. And to what seer do we attribute that bit of speculation? Black Lives Matter and other Soros groups should be called out as terrorist groups and arrested in huge numbers the moment they move from free speech on sidewalks to the rioting in the streets. Then reporting would be more balanced and more acceptable. I would like for Fox to run an investigation, report how many rioting situations have gone on in the nation since the election or the first of the year or the inauguration. Iran and Al Qaeda Exploit Syria Ceasefire By Genevieve Casagrande Key Takeaway: The U.S., Russia, Jordan "de-escalation zone" in Southwest Syria advances the interests of U.S. enemies and adversaries, including Iran and al Qaeda. The U.S. likely sought to leverage the agreement to drive a wedge within the Russo-Iranian Coalition, while reducing violence and testing a potential partnership with Russia to improve security in Syria. The deal has temporarily reduced violence, but at great cost to long-term U.S. interests in Syria. The Russo-Iranian coalition is exploiting the agreement to consolidate in the south. Al Qaeda will likewise leverage the deal and the recent cut to U.S. support to vetted Syrian opposition groups to preserve and expand its influence in Southern Syria. The de-escalation zone brokered by the U.S., Russia, and Jordan does not meaningfully constrain Iranian build up in Southern Syria and along the Golan Heights. The deal is rumored to include an "exclusionary zone" that requires Iranian and other non-Syrian forces to maintain a 30-40 KM distance from the Jordanian border. Iran and Hezbollah flaunted a large re-deployment away from frontlines in Dera'a City immediately after the de-escalation zone went into effect on July 9 in order to falsely demonstrate Iranian commitment to such an exclusionary zone to the United States. Most of the pro-Iranian forces relocated to areas just outside the exclusionary zone - including in the town of Sanamayn located approximately 50 KM from the Jordanian border - and to areas just outside Dera'a City, such as Athman. Hezbollah and other pro-Iranian forces retained many of their longstanding positionswithin the de-escalation zone and likely maintain some latent forces within Dera'a City, itself. Notably, the deal did not affect the historic pro-Iranian build up on the Golan Heights, a concern voiced by Israel in the weeks following the ceasefire. Iranian and pro-regime capabilities in the south remain largely unchanged. These local re-deployments and troop rotations still allow for Iran to quickly re-deploy to frontlines against anti-Assad forces as necessary. The de-escalation zone agreement secures the freedom of movement of Russia, Iran, and the Assad regime at the expense of U.S. partners. The deal has allowed Iran to temporarily shift assets away from previously contested frontlines like Dera'a City to reinforce other active fronts against the U.S. and partnered forces. Pro-Iranian and regime forces with Russian air supportlaunched operations against historically U.S.-backed opposition groups in Northern Suwayda and Eastern Rif Dimashq Provinces following the start of the ceasefire. The deal has freed up the pro-Assad coalition to continue to further project force into Eastern Syria. Pro-regime forces backed by Russia and Iran advanced to the outskirts of Sukhna along the ground line of communication (GLOC) between Palmyra and Deir ez Zour City on July 28. Iran, Assad, and Russia seek to reopen this GLOC to besieged regime-held areas of Deir ez Zour. These advances would ultimately constrain the freedom of action of the U.S.-led Anti-ISIS coalition in Eastern Syria and could block further advances by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) along the Euphrates River Valley. Russian build up along the frontline stands to deepen the Russo-Iranian coalition's penetration in Southern Syria. The deal lacks a legitimate, neutral enforcement mechanism and primarily relies upon Russian, Chechen, and Ingush forces to guarantee the agreement along the line of contact between regime and opposition forces. Russia cannot and will not restrain Iran and Assad. Russia deployed hundreds of military police including Ingush units to man observation points along the line of contact. The Russian force is positioned to protect -- not push back -- Iranian positions within this zone. The ceasefire deal allows al Qaeda to preserve its strength and expand its influence in Southern Syria. Al Qaeda had begun to reinvigorate its campaign to transform the Syrian opposition in its own image prior to the declaration of the de-escalation zone. Al Qaeda dispatched approximately thirtysenior officials to Southern Syria in May 2017. Al Qaeda likely seeks to replicate its recent success in Idlib Province in the South. The ceasefire deal will provide Al Qaeda with time and space to further network itself within the opposition, including through local governance and security structures. U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to halt some covert support to vetted opposition groups in Western Syria will only accelerate al Qaeda's potential rise in the south. Syrian rebels have expressed dissatisfaction over U.S. demands to abandon the fight against President Assad and decreased U.S. support to rebels. Al Qaeda will exploit these grievances and attempt to fill the vacuum. Al Qaeda will position itself to eventually spoil the agreement, but will do so in a timeframe that supports its own interests.
