BENGHAZI: DECOMPRESSING AFTER THE TODAY'S HEARINGS (5/8/2013) Posted: 09 May 2013 01:18 AM PDT What we do know: We know for a fact that the Committee Democrats have joined the White House in trying to persuade the American people that: (1), Benghazi is old news; (2), The Republicans are politicizing Benghazi to damage Democrats; and (3), it was a “systemic failure” that needs to be corrected. We know that the White House Spokesman is also part of the cover-up attempt. We know that the White House was intimately involved with Benghazi. (1) refusing to provide additional security because it would counter the political narrative of a President seeking reelection and whose main national security talking points were that “we got bin Laden” and al Qaeda is a severely weakened force; (2), not making the attack in progress a national priority, even though it was during working hours on a weekday; (3) either ordering directly or indirectly that no assistance be provided to the Americans under attack; and (4), attempting a cover-up of the true events by editing talking points and putting forth a false narrative involving a fictional protest over an anti-Muslim video trailer on YouTube. We also know that the President appeared to be disengaged as he prepared for a fundraising event the next day. We know that both President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were intimately involved in the false narrative, because both continued to spread false and misleading information after the fact were known. We know that someone ordered a top-level General and Admiral to be relieved of command under suspicious circumstances because both military men were directly involved with mounting an intervention in Benghazi. What we don’t know: (1) Who gave the actual command for American forces to “stand down” and not pursue an intervention in Benghazi? (2) Who gave the actual command for the General and Admiral to be relieved of command; and what was their specific involvement in the Benghazi affair? (3) Who gave the materially false talking points to United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice and arranged for her to appear on all five weekend news shows? (4) Who orchestrated the cover-up? (5) If the White House, State Department, or CIA was involved in effecting the illegal transfer of military weapons to al Qaeda or its affiliates. Much in the same manner the White House was complicit in Fast and Furious, providing guns to Mexican drug cartels for the political purpose of implementing more stringent gun control measures in the United States. Again, another cover-up at the highest levels of government. (6) Why the White House is officially suppressing the autopsy of slain Ambassador Stevens since there were allegations he was raped by the mob as a show of disrespect. (7) Why the FBI did a shoddy investigation; leaving sensitive documents on the ground to be retrieved by investigating journalists – including the Ambassador’s journal? Was there interference from Attorney General Eric Holder to direct the FBI inquiry or was their direct contact by White House staffers? Which suggests the following witnesses to be called, at a minimum, at the next hearing:
Bottom line … The United States of America was failed by its top leadership, more interested in political gamesmanship in the face of the upcoming election than protecting the lives of American citizens. And, I believe there should be serious consequences; included, but not limited to the Impeachment of the President of the United States. This is not a partisan position. If we cannot trust our leadership to act in the best interests of the United States of America, they do not deserve our faith and trust, and should be removed from office. -- steve  |

Bottom line … The Obama Administration is vested in covering-up their corruption, incompetence, malfeasance in the 9/11 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya. And that the political manipulation of the terrorist attack for political purposes is an attempt to protect President Barack Obama in the upcoming presidential election. If nothing else, Hillary Clinton is not fit to continue in government service – let alone become the President of the United States. -- steve  |

In damning first-hand testimony, we are seeing the incompetence, corruption, and malfeasance of those we trust with the safety and security of the United States. Overlaid with an ugly layer of politics that appears to use partisan politics to excuse the inaction and incompetence of high-ranking Obama Administration decision-makers. A notoriously corrupt black socialist democrat, Representative Elijah Cummings (D-MD), ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, tells Benghazi witnesses that "death is a part of life." While the statement is literally true, it is not true that people need to die as a result of government inaction, inefficiency, and corruption.
Another notoriously corrupt black socialist democrat Representative William Lacy Clay (D-MO) blamed congressional budget cuts for the terror attack on Americans in Benghazi:. The problem is that budgeting is all about priorities – with safety and security of Americans being the paramount and overriding interest. The democrat smear machine appears to be in high form as the leaks from anonymous democrats tend to discredit the witnesses. More on this developing story later.  |
