"The definition of freedom is the unimpeded pursuit of happiness and prosperity...something that veterans fight for and fight to defend" -Concerned Veterans for America
Dear Supporter,

Admiral Mike Mullen, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said last year that, "The most significant threat to our national security is our debt." We couldn't agree more, and our new poll
, as seen on today's Politico.com's Morning Defense, reveals that the majority of military voters also believe the national debt is a growing and insidious threat to our national security.

I'm sure this statistic doesn't surprise you. Our warfighters and veterans understand that our military strength depends upon our nation's economic health. That's why at Concerned Veterans for America, we fight for policies that will preserve the precious freedom and liberty we risked our lives to defend.

In the months to come, we'll see a series of public debates, some of which will be bitter and bruising. We'll have elections in November; a post-election lame duck session in Congress; and the next Congress will convene in January under a shadow of towering debt and controversial spending cuts. In all these debates, CVA will give veterans and their families the tools you need to be powerful advocates on behalf of our community. We want your voice to be heard loud and clear-not only on traditional veteran and security issues, but also on the escalating problems of out of control spending, debt and a stagnant economy.

Your authoritative perspective needs to be heard in these debates. Please visit our Facebook and Twitter pages to give us a 'LIKE' to show your support.

Thank you for supporting Concerned Veterans for America.  Your support is critical to our mission of sounding the alarm over the dangers of runaway spending and debt.
