One Citizen Speaking...

As a voting American, would you support a government run by militant activists? Would you provide them with $2 BILLION in humanitarian aid or access to American technology and resources?
Egypt is now controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood …
The Muslin Brotherhood's credo is, "Allah is our objective; the Quran is our law, the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspiration.”
The reality …
Muslims, as well as dictators and thugs everywhere, respect only strength and the will to use it.
Muslims do not honor life and are willing to kill or sacrifice their own as martyrs for the cause.
Muslims have not tolerance for opposition and dissent.
Muslims hate Americans – not for their lifestyle, not for their occupation of Arab lands – but because we are not Muslim and do not accept Sharia law.
Barack Hussein Obama appears to be a socialist/communist whose sympathies lie with revolutionaries everywhere; ignoring the irony that he represents “The Man.” He is an apologist and appeaser as he auditions for his next “historic” job as the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
Bottom line …
Time to return America to Americans.
Use our Humanitarian and Military Aid for Americans.
Reform the Department of State – purge the effete, inept Ivy Leaguers playing at diplomacy.

I am appalled at the speed in which President Obama and his administration were willing to sacrifice the principles of our Constitution to provide sympathetic recognition of Muslim rioting over an anti-Islamic film. From the beginning of his administration, it appears that Obama, as a self-professed Christian, assumed a position of conciliatory subservience, even to the point of bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia. This appeasement to foreign sovereigns and ideologies is fundamentally un-American.
While our Constitution specifies “Freedom of Religion” it is not a suicide pact; excusing anti-American behavior by others who want to use our own laws to overthrow the United States or commit egregious acts under the protection of the law. Translated with respect to our Founding Fathers, the right applies to the government and prevents the government from establishing a state religion or abridging the rights of those wishing to practice their own religions. However, nowhere does this authorize what would be considered destructive or criminal activities.

Freedom of Religion is One Way Street for Muslims

insult islam
The Pilgrims on board the Mayflower made the perilous trip after 12 years of religious persecution in Europe.  More than anything, they wanted to go somewhere where they were allowed to worship as they thought proper and not how the government and monarchy dictated.
Religious freedom was also an important factor when the thirteen colonies rebelled against the British crown and declared their independence.  They included it in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution so as to guarantee that everyone in America would have the right to worship according to their faith.
Even though America was established as a Christian nation based largely on Christian principles, the Founding Fathers also recognized that there were non-Christians among them who should also be entitled to that same right.  Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Shintos and others all share the same guarantee of the freedom of religion here in America.  As much as I would like to see America return to its Christian roots, I realize that will never happen because of the First Amendment.
Under the First Amendment, we are also guaranteed the right of free speech.  These two aspects of the First Amendment have been used for years to defend the right of those who wish to criticize, ridicule and even blaspheme God, Jesus Christ and the Bible.  As much as these things, such as the movie The Last Temptation of Christ, offend us and cause us to speak out against such antithetical garbage, there is nothing we can legally do to stop it.
But Muslims are not as tolerant and unresponsive as America’s Christians are and they will not tolerate anything or anyone that criticizes or mocks Islam.  Case in point is the Pennsylvania judge who acquitted a Muslim of physically attacking another person because of his Halloween costume.  Even though the attack was witnessed by a police officer and was caught on video, the judge let the attacker go and lectured the victim as if he were the criminal.  Oh yeah, the judge was a Muslim.

It’s okay for Muslims to condemn, ridicule, mock and trash anything Christian, Jewish or non-Muslim in general.  However, they cannot and will not tolerate the same treatment towards their own religion.  Religious tolerance is a very narrow one way street for Muslims and that intolerance of theirs is generally dealt out with violence.  And then they have the audacity to call anyone who questions their faith an Islamaphobe.
Now, Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi is vowing to sue the filmmakers in America for producing a film that insults their prophet Mohammad.  He has already instructed the Egyptian embassy in Washington D.C. to start legal actions against the filmmakers.  In fact, he didn’t just instruct them to file a lawsuit against the filmmakers, he ordered them to use all legal measures possible to bring action against the filmmakers.
The film, Innocence of Muslims, was made to show the treatment of Coptic Christians by Muslims in Egypt.  The filmmaker identifies himself as Sam Bacile, but some believe that to be an alias of Nakoula Basseley Nakoula.
Regardless who made the film, legal precedence has been established in the U.S. that such religious directed films are protected under the First Amendment.  There was no prosecution or law suits won against films that mocked Jesus, so why should there be any against a film that only depicts how the Muslims are treating Christians?  If a Christian cross can be displayed in a glass of urine for art’s sake without any legal recourse, then why should there be any legal recourse in this case.
President Obama was forced into condemning the violence in Egypt and Libya that occurred because of the film.  He also condemned the murders of American diplomats, but only after Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan both spoke out about the attacks and condemned the attackers.  I am curious to see if anything comes of the Egyptian legal actions against the filmmakers.  If it does happen, it will clearly demonstrate just how Muslim friendly and anti-Christian America has become and how the First Amendment only applies to Muslims and no one else. <Source: Freedom of Religion is One Way Street for Muslims>
Bottom line …
It is time to curb the politicians who seem so willing to accept campaign contributions and other support from foreign sovereigns acting through American subsidiaries or lobbyists. It is time to curb the politicians who promote the interests of a foreign sovereign over the rights of Americans. Specifically, overlooking the Constitution or ignoring existing laws, granting perks and privileges to non-citizens or illegal aliens and greatly diminishing the social safety net that was designed to protect American citizens and legal immigrants.
It is time to throw President Obama and his fellow travellers in the House and Senate out of office. And for the incoming administration to purge the State Department of the effete  ivy league dilettantes who are inept and incompetent.

Where is the shared pain and sacrifice?
Negotiators working to end the five-day Chicago teachers strike say they have a framework for a contract and expect school to resume on Monday.
“We are feeling pretty good,” School Board President David Vitale said on Friday afternoon as talks ended for the day. “We are going to have our kids in school on Monday.”
Saying that the “heavy lifting has been done,” Vitale said both sides have a framework for an agreement. More talks are scheduled for Saturday.
The overall compensation package would increase teacher salaries, on average, 16 percent over four years. The latest proposal includes retaining STEP wage increases — which are based on teacher experience — with larger increases for tenured teachers. Those increases will cost hundreds of millions of dollars, but both sides differ on the exact cost.
It also calls for an annual 2 percent cost-of-living increase for the four years of the deal, retaining current contractual class size language, and establishing a joint committee to craft a new teacher evaluation plan.<Framework For Teachers’ Contract In Place, School Likely Monday « CBS Chicago>
Bottom line …
Rahm caves to a special interest that provides campaign financing and voter support to his campaign. There is no shared sacrifice. There will be no improvement in education. The dropout rate will continue as before. The only thing that changed is that the kids got screwed and the treasury got raped.
Where are the roll-backs? Where are increase teacher contributions to their healthcare and pension? Where are the salary restricts that keep a second grade teacher from earning more than $75,000 or the equivalent of a skilled private sector trainer? Where are the freezes on hiring and overtime? And where is the allowance for cheaper, but equally qualified, non-union personnel?

It is amazing how the Obama Administration has promoting the idea that a YouTube film trailers incited the region-wide Muslim riots on 9/11.
  • It was the anniversary of 9/11 duh! Every U.S. facility abroad should have been on high alert. Unnecessary travel restricted and sensitive documents secured. With an increased threat level and adequate protection by U.S. Marine sentries and other protective personnel. Each host government should have been queried as to their preparations for civil unrest. That is standard procedure – and yet it seems to be violated in any number of individual instances.
  • To cover-up or excuse their stunning negligence which led to this tragedy – including the possibility that host governments provided credible intelligence up to 48-hours prior to the events of 9/11 – the Obama administration appears to be advancing the idea that this was all a spontaneous response to a YouTube film trailer. Ignoring the appearance of coordination in a region-wide effort.
  • If you look at the crowds, this had to be pre-arranged. And, if you believe media reports, it was arranged in the open – possibly using Facebook and Twitter.
  • And isn’t telling that most of the people shown in the crowd scenes are poor, illiterate, probably have no access to computers, have never seen YouTube or even know what YouTube is  – and seem to be controlled by the religious crazies who are capitalizing on the YouTube pretext to obscure their role in the attack.
So why is the media so quick to condemn the filmmakers and openly disregard their rights to free speech and to speak truth to power? Openly fingering film participants and making American vulnerable to Muslim attack – all for political purposes to cover up the fact that the Obama administration has a failed foreign policy, is weak on national defense and makes a practice of apologizing for America while praising Muslims and their anti-civilization message.

Media for Christ, Company Allegedly Behind 'Innocence of Muslims'

The Christian nonprofit Media for Christ reportedly took out a permit for a ‘Sam Bossil’ production that appears to have become the incendiary Innocence of Muslims, which has been linked to the violence in Egypt and Libya. Marlow Stern reports.

The cast of the film Innocence of Muslims, which reportedly helped spark violence across the Middle East, says they were duped by the movie’s producer and only signed up for a sword-and-sandals epic called Desert Warriors that had nothing to do with the Prophet Muhammad. That producer, who initially went by the pseudonym “Sam Bacile,” is reported to be Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, a California-based Coptic Christian who spent two days in jail and received three years’ probation after being arrested for “intent to manufacture methamphetamine” in 1997, and was convicted on federal bank fraud charges in 2010.
So far, Nakoula is being painted as the fall guyafter a 13-minute preview for the incendiary film, dubbed over in Arabic and uploaded to YouTube, reportedly helped trigger protests in Egypt and Libya that left the U.S. consulate in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi burned and the U.S ambassador to Libya,Christopher Stevens, dead, along with three other Americans. But what about the company behind the amateurish video, which depicts Muhammad as a sex-crazed sadist prone to acts of unspeakable violence? Media for Christ, a Christian nonprofit organization based in Duarte, Calif., took out a film permit for the production of Desert Warriors, according to spokesmen at Film LA, Inc., and the office of the County of Los Angeles. <Source: “Media for Christ, Company Allegedly Behind 'Innocence of Muslims' - The Daily Beast>
Where are Michael Moore and all the other filmmakers who demand artistic freedom for “their” socialist propaganda? Shouldn’t they be marching and speaking out to protect one of their own independent filmmakers?
Bottom line …
The Obama Administration is, once again, ignoring the rights of Americans to engage in free speech and religious diversity, while apologizing to the Muslims for America’s citizens.
President Obama should have said: “Unlike the Muslims, America has guaranteed freedoms. Freedom of speech. Freedom of Religion.” Each American citizen has the right to say what they believe without government censorship or interference. We will protect our citizens and property here and abroad and it is up to the host nation to enforce the protection of U.S. assets located in foreign lands. If these nations allow people to openly riot in the streets, that is their business. If they attack U.S. citizens or property, we will use force, if necessary, to secure our people and property. If those responsible for the acts of 9/11 are not found and surrendered to the United States within a sufficient period of time, we will suspend all foreign aid and assistance to the offending country. If no action is taken after a deadline date, then all financial transactions through U.S. financial institutions will be halted and asset forfeiture considered. It’s up to you. Good evening.”
Wishful thinking, of course, because President Obama appears to be welcoming ANY distraction from his record of malfeasance and non-performance.
But he didn’t …

FEDs Hunt Anti-Muslim Filmmaker Rather than People Who Killed US Ambassador

The filmmaker of the anti-Islam film lives in the United States. If this is true, then why is our government tracking down any filmmaker for any reason? Let’s rehearse the First Amendment for our government officials:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
In addition to protecting “the free exercise of religion,” even if it’s one religion criticizing another religion, the First Amendment also prohibits our national government from interfering with speech and the press.
Every day in America people attack worldviews they don’t agree with. Some do it with factual statements and reasoned argumentation, and others try to make their case with satire and ridicule. The First Amendment was put into place to protect people from tyrants who would use their power to prohibit speech that was critical of the way the governed.
King James I of England detested the Geneva Bible, first published in 1560, because he believed it questioned the divine right of kings. He did a novel thing. He commissioned a group of scholars to produce a new translation. We know it today as the Authorized Version or more popularly known as the King James Version of the Bible.
Sometimes the best way to deal with a critic is to ignore him. If this anti-Muslim film is so bad, the Muslims should have ignored it or produced an answer to it. Like fascists and tyrants of the past, they use terror to force compliance.
Just because you’re able to shut someone up doesn’t mean that you’ve convinced that person that your position is correct.

We need to replace the corrupt, inept and incompetent Barack Obama – along with the democrats in the House and Senate – with constitutional conservatives who will uphold, protect and defend our Constitution while insuring the safety of America and her citizens in venues both foreign and domestic.
