To accept the resignation of someone who gave a legitimate donation to a group that had the same position as Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and not defend his right to participate in our democracy is an act demonstrating unworthiness to be a board member of an organization that purports to be about the public good.

PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS MUST BE REMOVED FROM OFFICE -- ESPECIALLY IN IN THE SENATE

How stupid or corrupt is progressive socialist democrat Senator John Tester if he believes a warm launch silo is of any strategic use in defending the United States when a retaliatory strike must be done within minutes of a confirmed enemy launch notification as the silos are likely to be targeted during the initial strike? [My comments in blue italic]

Apr 8, 2014 -- US will cut deployed nuke missile force by 50

The U.S. will keep its current force of 450 land-based nuclear missiles but remove 50 from their launch silos as part of a plan to bring the U.S. into compliance with a 2011 U.S.-Russia arms control treaty, the Pentagon said Tuesday.

[This is tantamount to destroying the weapon’s effectiveness as a deterrent, and does not make the United States one iota safer – and demonstrates to our enemies that our military strength can be bargained away in a political process.]

The resulting launch-ready total of 400 Minuteman 3 intercontinental ballistic missiles would be the lowest deployed ICBM total since the early 1960s.

The decisions come after a strong push by members of Congress from the states that host missile bases - North Dakota, Wyoming and Montana - to not eliminate any of the silos from which the missiles would be launched.Fifty silos will be kept in "warm" status - empty of missiles but capable of returning to active use.

[This appears to be a political ploy to insure that money will continue to flow into the state.]

Sen. John Tester, a Montana Democrat, called the Pentagon's announcement "a big win for our nation's security and for Malmstrom Air Force Base," home of the 341st Missile Wing with 150 Minuteman 3 missiles. "ICBMs are the most cost-effective nuclear deterrent, and keeping silos warm is a smart decision and the kind of common sense Montanans expect from their leaders," Tester said.

[This is not a big win for our nation’s security as we do not have a similar agreement with other nuclear powers. We need additional missiles to target more than Russia. There is China, North Korea, Pakistan, and a nuclear Iran if the democrats have their way.]

Something is wrong -- Did the Obama Administration buy off the Senator who appears to had a radical change of mind?

Feb 11, 2013 -- Tester, Baucus: Potential cuts to nuclear weapons ‘misguided’ and ‘simply don’t make sense’

Senators Jon Tester and Max Baucus today released the following statements amid reports that President Obama will push to reduce the country's nuclear weapons arsenal in his State of the Union address on Tuesday night:

"It would be misguided to further alter our nuclear stockpile before the New START Treaty is fully implemented, and the Administration needs to put the brakes on any plan that weakens our national defense," Tester said. "Nuclear weapons are the centerpiece of our defense strategy, and I will not support any short-sighted effort that threatens our national security."

"Without a doubt, a strong ICBM force gives America maximum nuclear deterrence for our money - and in today's budget crunch, it simply doesn't make sense to cut one of the most cost-effective ways to keep America safe. I will fight hard against any plan that ignores the facts and puts American security or Montana jobs at risk," said Baucus, who was recently named co-chair of the Senate ICBM coalition.

The United States' nuclear weapons arsenal is divided into three elements: land-based missiles in silos, missiles aboard nuclear submarines, and nuclear bombers. Inter-continental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) are the most cost-effective leg of the triad because they cost less to maintain and recently underwent a thorough modernization program.

Malmstrom Air Force Base, in Great Falls, maintains and secures 150 ICBMs across north-central Montana.

The bipartisan New START Treaty will be implemented between now and 2017. The Obama Administration previously indicated that it would not need to make any personnel reductions at Malmstrom as a result of the treaty's implementation.

Tester and Baucus, both members of the Senate's bipartisan ICBM Coalition, strongly support Malmstrom's ICBM mission. Malmstrom's ICBM mission accounts for more than 40 percent of the economy in north-central Montana and contributes to approximately 5,000 jobs.

Bottom line …

I have a great deal of difficulty believing any elected official from the great State of Montana would turn his back on his country, but there must be exceptions when it comes to party ideology and money over national defense.

Is it all about money or did Senator Jon Tester roll over from his 2013 position to support Barack Obama’s progressive socialist democrat agenda of weakening the United States of America because Obama believes we are just another unexceptional nation like all of the other member-states of the United Nations and that our historical actions are the proximate cause of much of the world’s problems? Something he continually apologizes for on his foreign trips to Muslim countries?

It is apparent to me that the progressive socialist democrats are a clear and present danger to the safety and security of the United States and all Americans. Sitting idly by while our country is being invaded by foreign citizens of a sovereign nation – welcomed as having the right to break our laws and disadvantage our citizens.

We must regain control over the Senate in the upcoming 2014 election and maintain control over the House of Representatives lest we continue down the socialist/communist rat hole with the rest of the progressive socialist democrats. President Obama is a communist and the democrat party has become the Communist Party in the United States, if not in name, then in actions meant to bring about the transformative destruction of capitalism and our nation.

Attorney General Eric Holder disrespects Congress and needs to be impeached -- warns Gohmert (R-TX) to avoid talking about Holder's contempt citation

Posted: 08 Apr 2014 03:06 PM PDT

There comes a time when the Constitution must be defended by those members of Congress, regardless of their party affiliations, who have taken an oath …

“The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”  — U.S. Constitution, Article VI, clause 3

“I, [your name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.” --Title 5, Section 3331 of the United States Code.

It appears that the Attorney General remains unresponsive to numerous requests from Congress to provide documents to legitimate Congressional oversight committees regarding the actions of various Executive Branch agencies and which are not legitimately subject to a Presidential Exception. While these documents may be embarrassing to the Administration, they may also contain information regarding past and present criminal activity. To withhold documents while claiming there is an ongoing investigation to run out the clock on any statute of limitations or to see that those involved in subject activities have left the government, amounts to a charge of criminal obstruction of justice.

Therefore, after the Attorney General was cited for civil Contempt of Congress and the matter referred to the courts, it appears that Congress has little or no choice to defend the United States Constitution from an overly broad abuse of power by the Attorney General and the President of the United States. An abuse which negates the constitutional authority of Congress.

See for yourself, how the Attorney General Eric Holder and the Department of Justice is willing to provide documents to terrorists and their lawyers, but not to Congress. Bear in mind that documents downloaded from the Internet are not the same as the documents that are handed over to Congress as a result of a legitimate congressional inquiry.

Gohmert: “I realize that contempt is not a big deal to our attorney general, but it is important that we have proper oversight.,”

Holder: “You don’t want to go there, buddy! You don’t want to go there, okay.”

Gohmert: “I don’t want to go there?”

Holder: “No.”

Gohmert: “About the contempt?”

Holder: “You should not assume that that is not a big deal to me. I think that it was inappropriate, I think it was unjust. But never think that that was not a big deal to me. Don’t ever think that,”

Bottom line …

I have little or no doubt that the Obama Administration, like no other Administration before them – with the possible exception of the Nixon Administration – has engaged in stonewalling Congress in their attempt to investigate alleged potential criminal activity within the government. And, for the mainstream media to ignore the major implications of these actions for the purposes of pushing a progressive agenda is despicable.
