WHAT YOU TALKIN' BOUT OBAMA:? THIS IS MAINSTREAM ISLAM Posted: 17 Jan 2015 11:46 PM PST
Bottom line … Barack Obama and his cadre of progressive socialist democrats continue to claim that “Islam is the Religion of Peace” and only extremists who have hijacked Islam should be considered terrorists. Of course, this is bullpucky because it is the mainstream Sunni Jihadists who are creating havoc with their religious intolerance of anything not Sunni and their disregard for human rights and freedoms. In Obama’s topsy turvy world, black is white, up is down, our friends are disparaged and disadvantaged while our enemies are celebrated, and evil is good. It is the “radicals” who want to reform Islam not the mainstream. And let us not forget that Saudia Arabia exports an extreme form of Islam, Wahhabism, world-wide and appears to finance terrorism – even to the extent that informed sources believe that 9/11 was funded and operationally assisted by the Saudis. Time to call a spade a spade and recognize that Islam, as it is currently practiced in Islamic countries is an enemy of Western civilization and the rights of all mankind. -- steve | |
HOLLYWOOD WANTS YOU TO PAY FOR THEIR SECURITY Posted: 16 Jan 2015 04:02 AM PST There is little or no doubt in my mind that the elite Hollywood nabobs who control content creation and distribution are using one of the most corrupt former Senators in the nation to lobby Washington to include anti-piracy in federal cyber-protection legislation and administrative rules and regulations. Thus federalizing the investigation, prosecution, and punishment of content pirates. This is the same industry that screwed citizens and consumers out of the original copyright bargain – a period of exclusivity in return for allowing the work to enter the public domain after a period of time. The period that has been repeatedly extended at the request of industry lobbyists, in particular Disney. And, it did not stop there. They successfully lobbied to allow public domain information to be wrapped in a protected electronic file format, and then demanded that breaking the file code to enjoy work in the public domain be illegal. Why should the public pay for policing Hollywood’s private and profitable business when it is these very same progressive socialist democrats that scream about “corporate welfare” and the privileges of the one-percenters? Representative Ruppersberger (D-MD) has re-introduced the controversial CISPA (Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act ) and is attempting to tie it to President Obama cybersecurity initiative.
Behind this bill is the MPAA (Motion Pictures Association of America) and its president, Christopher Dodd, former Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee who was complicit in bringing you the mortgage meltdown and the failure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, that is when he wasn’t playing “waitress sandwich” with the drunken lecher Teddy Kennedy. These are the people who are claiming that “it’s for the children” as they tell Congress that legislation is needed to protect children from pornography and the other hazards on so-called “pirate sites.” Ruppersberger’s bill will be the third attempt to protect intellectual property after SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) failed due to intense Congressional opposition raised mostly by civil rights and privacy advocates. Bottom line … What makes these bills so dangerous to civil liberties and personal privacy is that they authorize the government to engage in deep-packet mining; examining the contents of every electronic file to determine if it contains prohibited material. An even greater risk is if the government demands the encryption keys that are used to keep these files safe in transit. Hollywood has a failing business model and they are doing everything in their power to protect and preserve their profits. These are the same people who fought against digital audio and video recorders and demanded that all electronic files be encoded with a GUID (Globally Unique IDentifier) that could link a created file with the machine that created it (and ultimately, the user of the machine). They demanded that digital copies be degraded. They demanded a tax on blank recording media (since rescinded) that could be split by artists, but wound up in the coffers of the major companies. Almost all electronic files (including documents) are encoded with these GUIDS). Even your color printer and copier spit out a visible (in light yellow) code to identify the machine that produced the copy – all under the guise of protecting against those who would counterfeit U.S. currency. Some copiers can even recognize currency, display a warning message, and send information about the attempt over the internet to an unknown non-public server address. It is important to watch the actions of the progressive socialist democrat hypocrites in Hollywood and their paid agents in the government. -- steve |
