    As a bonus for CyberAlert subscribers, below is the text of the October 3 edition of Notable Quotables, the MRC's bi-weekly compilation of the latest outrageous, sometimes humorous, quotes in the liberal media. It was compiled by the MRC's Rich Noyes.

    Highlights from this issue: liberal reporters, who don't seem bothered by policies permitting abortion on demand, claim the reaction of those at GOP debates shows Republicans have a "bloodlust" or are "bloodthirsty," with NBC's David Gregory wondering if it challenges "the notion that the Republican Party is the party of life and supports a culture of life."

    At the same time, New York Times columnist Paul Krugman tells CNN that Paul Ryan's Medicare reform "would kill people, no question," while longtime a New York Times reporter says she "can't understand the moral compass" of someone with the bumper sticker: "Repeal ObamaCare." And a trio of Hollywood celebrities tee off on the Tea Party, slamming them as "racist" and a source of "a lot of real homophobia."
