Posted: 02 Oct 2013 03:57 PM PDT It appears that a jury has determined that AEG hired Dr. Conrad Murray to minister to Michael Jackson and that Dr. Conrad Murray was a competent physician at the time of his hiring. It seems that justice has been served. The jury told the Jackson family and the world that AEG was not responsible for Jackson’s death. As for Dr. Conrad Murray, I can understand that he was pressured by Michael Jackson to administer drugs that apparently proved fatal to Jackson. That his lapse of attention in monitoring Jackson resulted in Jackson’s death appears to be the case. Why this verdict is just … Because AEG did not know that Dr. Conrad Murray was administering hospital-strength drugs without sufficient monitoring to Jackson on a nightly basis, they should not be held liable for Michael Jackson’s death. Bottom line … It appears that the greedy Jackson family tried an end-run to get their hands on big money – money that was not controlled by Jackson’s will. -- steve  |
Posted: 02 Oct 2013 03:48 PM PDT Even in the midst of the Kabuki Theatre known as the government shutdown … masking the corruption and incompetence of both major political parties and their players … we find that we cannot simply trust President Obama and his cadre of fellow travelers – the socialist progressive democrats – who will do or say anything to push their political agenda. To the extent of weakening the safety and security of the United States and its citizens. And, if people are dying because of the mass confusion in healthcare, neither party seems that interested, having exempted the wealthy, politicians, and special interests from the provisions of Obamacare. So why am I not surprised – in this age of Benghazi, Fast and Furious, and the IRS scandals that the heads of government agencies are openly lying to or misleading Congress with impunity …
And it does not apparently stop there … It appears that most of the so-called terrorist plots foiled by the nation’s premier law enforcement agency, the FBI, seems to have a single thread running through the narrative. It is that the FBI, using confidential informants and others, appears to have materially participated in most of the foiled plots – characterizing them as “stings” rather than “publicity stunts” which might be a more accurate description. The Agency seems to be on a severe decline since the Clinton/Janet Reno days involving Waco and Ruby Ridge; both involving the same FBI sniper, Lon Horichi – the proximate cause of the Murrah Federal Bureau Bombing by Timothy McVeigh and an unknown number of accomplices.
Proof of Incompetence ... In spite of the billons of dollars spent in creating and managing the Department of Homeland Security to eliminate intelligence silos, share intelligence, and coordinate responses, it appears that even when given a credible threat notice by a foreign government, there was a massive government failure: a lack of follow-up and action by local, state, and federal authorities in regard to the Boston Marathon bombers. Bottom line … It appears that we can no longer trust our elected officials or their appointees to fairly and honestly represent “We the People.” So, starting the the 2014 Congressional election cycle and continuing through the 2016 Presidential election cycle, people should educate themselves on the corruption of the two major political parties and be prepared to remove corrupt politicians from office. In almost every instance, it has been the progressive socialist democrats behind the most significant damage to the United States with their socialist agenda and failed domestic and foreign policies designed to weaken America and spread chaos throughout the land. The mere thought that the democrats would put up a corrupt, incompetent, and known socialist as Hillary Clinton as their nomination for the Presidency is enough to not only make me sick, but it is enough to demonstrate the clear and present danger that the neo-democrat party represents to America. -- steve  |
