The discussion is part of President Barack Obama’s “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative, which the administration announced in February. It is the fault of progressive socialist democrats, a group of self-serving individuals who want to appear to be public-spirited while simultaneously seeking additional political power and lining their pockets with the proceeds of corruption. Explain to me where the billions of dollars slated for educating minorities has gone? Where most of the funding goes for new infrastructure and union-controlled personnel costs rather than being spent educating the nation’s children? Where political deals with powerful unions and special interests are more important than graduation rates? Where incompetent and dangerous teachers are tolerated and educational tests are dumbed-down so that the public gets the impression that there is the potential for improvement in the educational system if and only if they agree to increased taxes? Explain to me the theory that everyone needs to be pushed into a college – when many would benefit greatly from learning vocational schools? Explain to me why fewer and fewer able-bodied men are found in K-12 education where they could provide discipline and stem gang activity? Why are little boys expected to behave like polite little girls or face being drugged into submission? Why are character-building games and social encounters regulated to the point where everyone gets a participation ribbon and a person who makes the wrong gesture with their fingers is a matter for the police? Explain to me why the progressive socialist democrats scream about crime and demand gun control? Gun control that has proven ineffective in the minority communities and simply creates a larger pool of victims demanding larger governmental involvement to keep them safe and secure? Has anyone noticed that the progressive socialist democrats do not treat minority gangs like domestic terrorists? Could it be that they are protecting both their constituency and big crime? Yes, big crime! Organized crime. As in large unionized law enforcement, an expanding unionized judiciary, unionized institutions for incarceration and treatment of criminals. Only when the public becomes outraged, do these progressive socialist democrats demand more taxes for more government and law enforcement. And, nothing changes. Why is it that the progressive socialist democrats in Hollywood and elsewhere have no problem glorifying violence and a misogynous culture, and are not subject to the ridicule of society for their hypocrisy and called-out for their dangerous contribution to society? Why are people sitting around and watching minorities adults call each other Uncle Toms, Aunt Jemimas, Tio Tacos,etc. while children are being hazed as turning their back on “the culture”when they refuse outlandish dress, use standard English, or achieve high scores in school? The hard-to-implement answer … I personally know of a Chicago Superintendent of Schools whose honest and forthright actions to reform the system ran afoul of the political powers and was simply paid-off to go away. How can honest, well-meaning individuals be protected against the malevolent political and union forces that want the dung heap to remain dysfunctional and profitable? That is the real answer to the question! Bottom line … The answers are not to be found on the Internet, but within ourselves. Why do “We the People” tolerate corrupt politicians and public employee unions who are demonstrably damaging America and Americans? You want to fix the problem, start by removing progressive socialist democrats from local, state, and federal government. Disbanding public employee unions. And, dissolving federal control over education. There is no need to support costly and ineffective duplicative bureaucracies, to see your money go to Washington, only to see in trickle back in the form of coercive demands to push a more radical progressive socialist agenda in our school system. With the progressive socialist democrats it is never about reform, but ‘go along to get along’ or ‘do as I say, not as I do.’ That is, until these corrupt miscreants are stopped at the ballot box or imprisoned in a hell of their own making. -- steve
