One Citizen Speaking... |
Posted: 18 Dec 2014 08:25 PM PST I was outraged that Amy Pascal, Chairman of the Motion Pictures Group of Sony Pictures Entertainment, would actually consort with a known racist, race-hustler, and socialist/communist/agitator such as Al Sharpton. Even worse, to allow Al Sharpton any say over the creative content developed or managed by Sony. All, as a self-serving mea culpa for having her relatively benign e-mails defined as “racist” by the progressive socialist democrats. Spending Sony’s money – and by extension the shareholder’s money – to resolve her personal failings. The idea that Pascal would waste Sony assets on a disreputable man who has been associated with violent racial protests and who is a proven liar – and worse – is beyond the pale and demands immediate redress by the top-level parent corporation.
Private e-mails joking about movies President Obama might like may appear to be insensitive, but are not overtly racist and do not deserve to be answered …
This is a one-sided race-hustling lynch mob that will never go after Samuel L.Jackson, Danny Glover, Spike Lee, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, and others for their private comments about whites or white politicians such as George Bush. Bottom line … The self-serving grievance industry has sensed spineless weakness in the Hollywood crowd and has moved in for personal, professional, and profitable exploitation. The idea that someone would pay either Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson to provide absolution for real or imagined sins is to continue the charade that these racists, race-hustlers, and agitators are actually community leaders of a sort. All they are is disingenuous media whores who falsely play on a concocted narrative that they are substantial men of the cloth and can lead others into racial acceptance. Sharpton is the one pouring gas on the flames of racial hatred and should be prosecuted not pursued. These people are media creations, much like the whining George Clooney who complains that he hasn’t slept after reading a negative review and needs to be protected by the studio. Amy Pascal needs to be fired! And, let us not forget the North Korea, the alleged agressor, only wins when America backs down. Sony could release the movie to every internet outlet and thwart the North Koreans. It should be remembered that insurance may cover any losses if the movie is not shown, not so if Sony releases it on the internet. -- steve |
