One Citizen Speaking...

Just Asking: What is Obama's end-game with respect to the Muslim Brotherhood?

Posted: 18 Aug 2013 05:20 PM PDT

Since Israel, Saudi Arabia, and others fear the rise of the jihadists known as the Muslim Brotherhood, why are progressive socialist democrats such as Barack Obama and others pushing the Egyptian government to recognize the rights of the Muslim Brotherhood and restore them to power?

Could it be that this is the type of political coercion that is used to fund post-presidential libraries or force foreign interests to fund a future political campaign?

If not, what could be the reason any American would support a corrupt organization that openly declares that “Allah is our objective; the Quran is our law, the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations?”

Why else would politicians that openly advocate democracy, side with a faction that has taken a slim majority of the popular vote and announced they had a mandate to replace the Egyptian Constitution with a permanent theocratic government and the imposition of Sharia law? And, a stance that regards almost ten percent of the population, the Coptic Christians, to be infidels.

Why else would politicians support a faction that could not run the economy under Sharia law and produced nothing but food shortages and political chaos?

I know the progressive socialist democrats are evil, but are they stupid and corrupt enough to promote our enemies over the safety and security of America?

Do they want to be complicit in a Muslim genocide?

In Egyptian village, Christian shops marked ahead of church attack

On June 30, when millions of Egyptians took to the streets to protest against now ousted President Mohamed Morsi, residents of Al Nazla marked Christian homes and shops with red graffiti, vowing to protect Morsi's electoral legitimacy with “blood.”

Relations between Christians and Muslims in the village, which had worsened since Morsi's election in 2012, grew even more tense as Islamists spread rumors that it was Christians who were behind the protests against Morsi and his ouster by the military on July 3.

On the morning of the attack in Al Nazla, says Awad, a local mosque broadcast a message around 9 am. “Your brothers in Rabaa El Adawiya are being killed by Jews and Christians,” the loudspeakers boomed, according to Awad and other Christian residents. The crowds attacked the police station before attacking the church, say residents, possibly part of the reason the police did nothing to stop the attack that lasted fromaround 9:30 am until 7 pm. The attackers even brought trucks to carry away their loot. The police guards that had been posted outside the church walked away when the angry crowds approached, say neighbors. One fire truck that tried to approach the church was repelled by the crowd, and the police never came. <Source>

I would suggest that Barack Obama might know the answers to these questions, but then again, maybe Valerie Jarrett hasn’t told him what to do.

Clinton Foundation An Open Letter From Bill Clinton -- "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is"

Posted: 18 Aug 2013 04:35 PM PDT

Responding to a story in the progressive New York Times …

Excerpt From “An Open Letter From Bill Clinton”

Our Financial Position

The New York Times recently reported that the Foundation ran a deficit of $40 million in 2007 and 2008 and $8 million in 2012.

The reporting requirements on our tax forms, called 990s, can be misleading as to what is actually going on. Here’s why. When someone makes a multi-year commitment to the Foundation, we have to report it all in the year it was made. In 2005 and 2006 as a result of multi-year commitments, the Foundation reported a surplus of $102,800,000 though we collected nowhere near that. In later years, as the money came in to cover our budgets, we were required to report the spending but not the cash inflow. Also, if someone makes a commitment that he or she later has to withdraw we are required to report that as a loss, though we never had the money in the first place and didn’t need it to meet our budget. In other words, for any foundation with a substantial number of multi-year commitments, the 990s will often indicate that we have more or less money than is actually in our accounts.

Like many foundations, we were hit by the economic slowdown in 2007 and the crash in 2008. Thankfully, we had the cash reserves to cover our largest budgets, in our HIV/AIDS, malaria, and health training programs, and we decided to do it because so many lives were at stake.

For 2012, the reported deficit of $8 million is incorrect, and was based on unaudited numbers included in our 2012 annual report.  When the audited financials are released, they will show a surplus.

What does it mean when a progressive publication puts forth an “investigative journalism” piece?

On Wednesday, the New York Times ran a blistering investigative report revealing the Clinton Foundation as a nonprofit rife with crony capitalist conflicts of interest and multi-million dollar deficits despite raking in at least $492 million from 1997 to 2007.

In 2007 and 2008, the Clinton Foundation, which is soon to be renamed the “Bill, Hillary, & Chelsea Clinton Foundation,” ran a $40 million deficit. Last year, it ran a deficit of over $8 million despite the Foundation and two subsidiaries generating $214 million in revenues.

Hillary Clinton plans to relocate her offices to the Foundation’s Manhattan headquarters in the weeks to come. Former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Clinton planned to use the Foundation as a “launching pad into 2016,” a reference to her potential presidential run.

The nexus between Clinton Foundation donors, foreign governments, and corporate interests has long been a concern to government watchdog groups. As of 2008, the Clinton Foundation raised at least $46 million from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Brunei, Oman, and other foreign governments—the very governments Secretary of State Hillary Clinton eventually negotiated with. Wealthy foreign investors, like Saudi businessman Nasser Al-Rashid and Indian politician Amar Singh gave at least $1 million each. <Source>

Two things come to mind. One, they are trying to salvage their journalistic credibility that, until now, lies in tatters – having succumbed to political expediency and promoting the interests of Barack Obama and his administration as if they were the propaganda arm of the progressive socialist democrat government. And two, they are trying to inoculate Hillary Clinton from scandal by revealing the sordid details up front in a time period before the election. Allowing Team Hillary to play the “it’s old news, everybody knows that, nobody cares – and it doesn’t matter now” card.

When it comes to the Clintons and the progressive socialist democrats, I trust nothing and nobody. We have seen the current iteration of progressives attempt to destroy our Constitution and I believe they are looking to a progressive socialist democrat like Hillary Clinton to finish the job.

Bottom line …

I have a tough time believing anything that comes from a man so thoroughly corrupt and devoid of honor that he would do or say anything to promote his financial and political interests – and those of his family. While I urge you to read Clinton’s letter in context, it is helpful to remember that most politicians use their foundations for the promotion of their personal benefit and to burnish the tarnished reputation and tattered nation they left behind.

POLITICAL CORRUPTION IN THE CLOUD: A "WHAT IF" SCENARIO THAT COULD KILL A POLITICAL CAREER

Posted: 18 Aug 2013 03:50 PM PDT

More and more people are depending on programs and procedures that store data in the cloud – a euphemism for storing data on someone else’s computers and beyond your direct control …

But what if that cloud storage could be hacked, which it can be, or even worse, used by corrupt progressive socialist democrats to discredit a viable opposition candidate? Who is to say that the information has been corrupted, who may have corrupted it, and when that corruption may have taken place? Or, even if the corruption was under the direction of a government-private corporation arrangement? What if the “cloud” billionaires believed they could run society better than the government?

Time for a new book …

Not that the book deals with the scenario portrayed above, but it does raise interesting questions.

The Circle

Note: no referral fee

“When Mae Holland is hired to work for the Circle, the world’s most powerful internet company, she feels she’s been given the opportunity of a lifetime.

The Circle, run out of a sprawling California campus, links users’ personal emails, social media, banking, and purchasing with their universal operating system, resulting in one online identity and a new age of civility and transparency

As Mae tours the open-plan office spaces, the towering glass dining facilities, the cozy dorms for those who spend nights at work, she is thrilled with the company’s modernity and activity. There are parties that last through the night, there are famous musicians playing on the lawn, there are athletic activities and clubs and brunches, and even an aquarium of rare fish retrieved from the Marianas Trench by the CEO.

Mae can’t believe her luck, her great fortune to work for the most influential company in the world—even as life beyond the campus grows distant, even as a strange encounter with a colleague leaves her shaken, even as her role at the Circle becomes increasingly public.

What begins as the captivating story of one woman’s ambition and idealism soon becomes a heart-racing novel of suspense, raising questions about memory, history, privacy, democracy, and the limits of human knowledge.”

If some of the description sounds familiar, think of Google meets “The Firm” and the protagonist as a female Tom Cruise.

Bottom line …

We are trusting our lives to machines and our data to corporations shrouded in secrecy and subject to “secret” governmental interference and manipulation. It is not unknown for members of government, law enforcement and prosecutors, to manufacture evidence for political gain or personal profit. So who will protect us from those corporations? The progressive socialist democrats who appear to corrupting our Constitution and redefining our rights?

Just Asking?

In their 2004 founders' letter prior to their initial public offering, Larry Page and Sergey Brin explained that their "Don't be evil" culture prohibited conflicts of interest, and required objectivity and an absence of bias:

Google users trust our systems to help them with important decisions: medical, financial and many others. Our search results are the best we know how to produce. They are unbiased and objective, and we do not accept payment for them or for inclusion or more frequent updating. We also display advertising, which we work hard to make relevant, and we label it clearly. This is similar to a well-run newspaper, where the advertisements are clear and the articles are not influenced by the advertisers’ payments. We believe it is important for everyone to have access to the best information and research, not only to the information people pay for you to see.

Oakland: Another worker's paradise governed by progressive socialist democrats -- forced to hire private security to protect them from police failure

Posted: 18 Aug 2013 03:03 PM PDT

In a world of progressive socialist democrats, where the wealthy are able to protect themselves and the political class is provided with state-paid security, there is but one question, why are the politicians refusing to attack the domestic terrorists that are minority gangs? Are they so afraid of upsetting one of their coalition partners that they are willing to condemn men, women, and children to death at the hands of gang members, criminals, and crazies. Pursuing those few who are guilty of a “hate crime” while ignoring the existential threat of gangs?

Violence in Oakland forces residents to seek private security

OAKLAND, Calif. - There has been 61 murders so far in Oakland, California. And with crime on the rise, some neighbors are taking extraordinary steps. Gunfire has become so common on the streets of Oakland, California -- that even in neighborhoods that once seemed immune to the city's violence, residents are no longer shocked.

With budget cuts forcing Oakland to trim its police force by a third, residents decided to pay themselves for private security patrols, which is understandable when you hear this from Hetherington.

Political, Police, and Prosecutorial Malfeasance …

How is this possible? Budgeting is a process of prioritizing expenditures, with public safety being the first priority – above the art’s programs and useless cubicle workers who contribute little but additional politically-motivated rules and regulations and the required paperwork. How is it that the politicians, police, and prosecutors do not attack the criminal minority gangs that serve as domestic terrorists? Could it be because they are progressive socialist democrats afraid of upsetting their major political coalition partner? You bet!

Living in a prison of your own making …

"A car came down the street, three guys got out with a gun. There was a gun battle three blocks over. And I did hear actually a bullet went through somebody's house." That routine gunfire turned tragic last month. "Our neighbor Judy, who lived in the next block to me, was shot and killed," said Hetherington.

"I lock a gate now and I lock my door and I have alarms. I even put bars on my house," she said. Yet she acknowledged she doesn't feel safe.

Other residents hope that when the private security patrols begin in a couple of weeks, it will bring a sense of security to a neighborhood most love too much to leave.

Bottom line …

Like most inner cities governed by corrupt progressive socialist democrats, the community chooses their leadership based on color, not competence. And, they reap what they sow. Corrupt politicians and their special interest friends who are siphoning off money into union pension plans rather than protecting the community. With most of there loud-mouthed racists, blacks can’t be criminals because they are officially a class of racially-oppressed people. These are the politicians that want to disarm the population, creating an even bigger pool of victims rather than go after the root cause of violence – minority criminal gangs.

At some point in the future, the people will realize that they themselves are responsible for their deplorable conditions and that they need to clean house. Flush the corrupt politicians down the toilet bowl where they dwell.

John McCain, the man with no credibility, charges U.S. lost 'credibility' on Egypt

Posted: 18 Aug 2013 02:37 PM PDT

What can you say about a man who collaborated with the enemy a long time ago and yet is feted as a “war hero” because he was gravely injured in a prisoner of war camp? Can you overlook his service to his country in a time of war to observe that McCain has sold out his party and his nation, once again, by attempting to side with militant terrorists in Egypt? For some reason, John McCain is more a progressive socialist democrat than he is the conservative republican he plays in the media. How can you explain the jumping of the Senate aisle to embrace the progressive socialist democrats on campaign finance (McCain-Feingold), immigration reform (McCain-Kennedy), and global warming (McCain-Lieberman) – and then embracing the militant jihadists known as the Muslim Brotherhood. Those jihadists who demand the Egypt become a theocratic state governed by Sharia law.

McCain charges U.S. lost 'credibility' on Egypt

The United States has “no credibility” in the Middle East due to the Obama administration's inaction in Egypt, Sen. John McCain said Sunday.

The administration previously threatened to cut off aid if there was a coup in Egypt, the Arizona Republican said, but has refused to honor that promise. “We could be cutting off the aid,” as well as cutting off economic assistance, tourism and exports, he said, but the administration is “not sticking to our values.”.

McCain has just visited Egypt in an effort to broker an agreement between military leaders and supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi. While there, he said he wanted to give the military generals an opportunity to get on the “path to democracy."

Democracy? Has McCain abandoned all reason?

  • Does this aging progressive socialist democrat know that the Muslim Brotherhood’s Credo is “Allah is our objective; the Quran is our law, the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations.”
  • Does McCain know that the Muslim Brotherhood was overthrown because they were attempting to destroy the existing Egyptian Constitution and implement a perpetual theocracy? Having won with a slim margin and believing that this granted them the right to perpetual power?
  • Does McCain understand that the Muslim Brotherhood is attacking Coptic Christians (approximately 10% of the population) as infidels?
  • And, worst of all, not realizing that there is nothing in the Quran that explains how to run an economy for the benefit of the nation?

But after last week's violence, he said, "for us to sit by and watch this happen is a violation of everything we stood for.” And he accused the interim regime of preaching “anti-Americanism.”

“We are much more hated and much less respected than we were in 2009,” in the Middle East region, McCain said. Source:McCain charges U.S. lost 'credibility' on Egypt - POLITICO.com

Bottom line …

McCain would rather follow Barack Obama down the rat hole of Jihadist Muslim politics than stand up for real democracy. To ignore that the people of Egypt do not want a strict Sharia government and do not want to be controlled by a law that metes out death and torture for the slightest deviation from some politician’s instant interpretation of the Quran.

John McCain may be a United States Senator, but he is still a quisling and a Judas Goat, leading all that believe him to a hell of their own making.

SINCE WHEN IS RACISM A CRIME? SINCE THE DEMOCRATS PLAYED THE RACE CARD FOR POLITICAL ADVANTAGE?

Posted: 18 Aug 2013 02:16 PM PDT

Since the dawn of man, there has always been a familial-tribal affinity where people are prone to like and affiliate with others of similar background, experience, and environment. And, there has always been individuals and organizations who used “not like us” criteria to exclude members from their clubs. But is this criminal activity? I think not – unless an individual is harmed based upon this animosity. And, when such a person is harmed, it becomes a matter for the law – to be prosecuted for the crime of which the person stands accused. Not some politically-inspired, socially-engineered crime that occurs mainly in one’s mind.

Unfortunately, we are living in the days of constitutional corruption and the corruption of most of our most cherished institutions based on political advantage. Mainly the progressive socialist democrats pandering to victim-groups on the basis of race, sex, and gender orientation. Pretty much why the following article should be a wakeup call to Americans as it highlights governmental tyranny and the out-of-control reach for political power.

DOJ to America: Help Us Frame Zimmerman

Despite an FBI investigation that found no evidence that George Zimmerman harbored any racist feelings, the Department of Justice is bent on building a hate crimes case against him and has set up a special email address for people to send in "tips" against him.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Tom Perez, assistant attorney general for the Civil Rights Division, asked participants in a conference call to refer anyone who had any information that could be used against Zimmerman. "They said they would very aggressively investigate this case," said Barbara Arnwine, president of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.

"Political persecution has reached a dimension unforeseen by many,” Robert Zimmerman told Breitbart. “It is inconceivable that high-ranking officials would endorse this kind of behavior. It is profoundly disserving that they facilitate it." Read more at:DOJ to America: Help Us Frame Zimmerman

Bottom line …

We are finding that the government has become the “thought police,” prosecuting people who are being forced – literally at the point of a gun – to embrace those with whom they would never associate and would never embrace.

We are also finding that the government has been so corrupted as to abandon their fundamental duties under the Constitution of the United States, that of protecting people and maintaining a safe and secure environment for the common welfare. How else can you explain the paramilitarization of the police and their failure to deal with gangs – domestic terrorists who are spreading havoc and mayhem in their communities? How else can you explain the conflict of interest between the burgeoning, unionized government bureacracy and those that profit indirectly from crime in America. It is almost as if the unwritten law is to prosecute a few high profile cases and then ignore everything else. Can’t upset the progressive socialist democrat minority coalition by pointing out that a certain subgroup of their community commits the majority of gun-related crime. No, we need to disarm the entire law-abiding American people to provide political cover for the miscreants attacking their neighbors.

If you are intellectually honest, you will find that it is ludicrous and unconstitutional to prosecute “thought crimes.” It is a fundamental violation of the United States Constitution to treat any individual differently from those similarly situated. And yet, you do not have Eric Holder’s Department of Justice pursuing hate or race-based crimes against the three blacks who savagely beat a white child. You do not have progressive socialist democrats marching in the streets shouting “no justice, no peace.”

George Zimmerman was found not guilty in the Court – not in the Court of Manipulated Public Opinion – and yet people continue to overlook the true facts. Trayvon Martin was a thug – guilty of possessing stolen jewelry and a burglar tool, purchasing two-thirds of an illegal cocktail the night of the altercation, and savagely attacking George Zimmerman. By Trayvon’s own words, he was a gangsta’ – complete with pictures to prove it.

So how did a community hero – attempting to protect his community and doing everything right – become demonized because the race-baiters and progressive media incorrectly believed him to be “white” The only answer, to anyone who is intellectually honest, is politics and the promotion of a theme of racial victimhood that the progressive socialist democrats are selling to build their base of minority victims and to distract from the egregious violations of the Constitution that are swirling about them.

We are dying a death of a thousand cuts – political correctness, multi-culturalism, and moral equivalency – that would have scared the bejesus out of George Orwell. A world where up is down, down is up, evil is feted and good ignored – and where political corruption is accepted as the norm.

The only think that I can suggest is that “We the People” throw the progressive socialist democrats and their sycophants like John McCain and Lindsey Graham out of office. And, we are being given the opportunity to start the process in the 2014 congressional election cycle.

The progressive socialist democrats are a clear and present danger to America and all Americans with their political corruption. Ditto for the republicans who want to win – but preserve their own version of political corruption; and the mainstream media that has abandoned all journalistic ethics and has joined the party of evil in covering up the doing of dastardly deeds for political advantage.
