According to their Facebook page, Cheaper Than Dirt (a major online firearms, ammo and accessories dealer) has stopped selling guns through their website. There has been significant fallout among the firearms community, with thousands of people criticizing the decision on the Facebook page. Rick Perry has publicly stated that he supports concealed carry for teachers in response to school shootings. Texas already allows teachers to carry guns in some districts, and has for some time. Dick’s Sporting Goods has suspended the sale of some semi automatic rifles in all of its stores nationwide.
