| | Yesterday we lost a Conservative figure in St Louis. Doug Edelman. He died of a heart attack yesterday morning. Condolences to his family. Keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
President Obama (President Stompy Foot) wants to inflict the most amount of pain in the Government Shut Down. He has closed Open Air Monuments, Closed Private Businesses on Federal Land, and kicked people out of their homes on Federal Land.
The President and Harry Reid continue to refuse to negotiate with the House GOP on the dead lock.
Raids in both Libya and Kenya were executed over the weekend to capture or kill terrorists involved with Al Queda and terrorism.

by Steve Foley on October 4, 2013 Over the past week, multiple Democrats have indicated that they are more interested in playing politics than actually governing. If Democrats were truly concerned about reopening the government, they would come to the negotiating table instead of saying the following:“We are winning…It doesn’t really matter to us (how long the shutdown lasts).” A senior Administration official told the Wall Street Journal. While Republicans work to fund the government, Democrats continue to play politics with Americans’ lives. “Why would we want to do that?” Senator Harry Reid responding to a question from CNN’s Dana Bash, on why he wouldn’t vote to help one child with cancer. House Republicans continue to pass bills to reopen the government and provide funding for pediatric cancer research. Yet Senate Democrats refuse to even come to the table and negotiate reopening these vital functions of government. “So when you were on a jihad against Americans’ access to health care, shutting down the parks wasn’t a problem.”

UN-IPCC Climate Report Condemned: Climate Alarmists PWNED! by Steve Foley on October 1, 2013 The Space and Science Research Corporation (SSRC), has just released a profoundly critical review the UN-IPCC’s latest climate report, “Climate Change 2013, The Physical Science Basis, Summary for Policymakers.” In the SSRC’s own ‘Assessment’ of this Summary from the UN-IPCC, it issues what may be strongest condemnation of UN-IPCC reports to date from an authoritative climate research organization.Edited by other SSRC Associate Scientists, the primary author of the SSRC review was Mr. John Casey, SSRC President. In addition to that position, Mr. Casey is a well-known climate lecturer and author of the internationally acclaimed climate book, “Cold Sun.” He is also the Editor of the Global Climate Status Report (GCSR), and has recently been called “America’s best climate prediction expert.”* On August 21, 2013, near Miami, Florida, he and other scientists held an important news conference where they announced the coming end of global sea level rise caused by the now ten year long cooling of the Earth’s oceans and the rapidly approaching new cold climate era. |

| | | This Sums Up the Obama Administration by stix1972 on October 1, 2013 The System Is Down At The MomentThey should just put this on the door of the White House. Obama and his cohorts have been a disaster from the beginning. He came in with the theme of “Hope and Change”, but everyone now Hopefully has a little Change left after the economic malfeasance by the utter lack of any kind of basic economic understanding by the WON and his advisers. We have had lackluster jobs reports, and the economy is basically flatlined. But hey, the DOW and the Markets are doing well. That is because of the influx of money that the Government is borrowing to prop it up. Now we had the Signature Legislative Victory of the WON coming online, or should I say offline. It is in utter chaos and almost no one knows how it works, and the Government website that is supposed to explain it is “Down at the Moment. |

| | | Federal Government Kicks People Out Of Their Homes: Lake Mead by Steve Foley on October 6, 2013
In a stunning move, the federal government threw people out of their homes on Lake Mead. A popular place to live on a boat, the federal government shut down access to the lake during the federal shutdown. According to Rob Richardson at OffGrid Surival’s website, the order has had people who live on the Lake Mead scrambling to find another place to go. People pay monthly fees to moor their boats on the lake. For many who live on the lake, there house boat is their only home. Some have lived on the lake for as long as 20 years.
The National Park Service even pulled the dock so that people who did not comply were stranded. Those who were at the dock did not have enough water to pull their boat out of the water to comply. There appears to be no refund on the fees paid by boat owners either. |
