Substituting two “autobiographies” riddled with inconsistencies, misinformation, and outright falsehoods. His representatives spending approximately $3 million to keep any court challenge from compelling discovery and the production of documents related to his birth certificate, Social Security number, draft registration, School finance records, passport and travel records. A man protected by a progressive mainstream media who refuses to acknowledge that they – as well as us – know little of who Barack Obama might be and what is his true agenda. That is, if he even has an agenda. We can only observe what Barack Obama and his cadre of fellow travelers have done as they wantonly violated the Constitution and  usurped Congressional authority. FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND TEACHERS UNIONS PROMOTING INSTITUTIONAL RACISM TO GRAB FUNDING DOLLARS! Posted: 09 Aug 2013 04:15 PM PDT Between Administrators and Teachers’ Unions, it is hard to believe their bullshit about “it’s for the children,” when it is clearly about money and politics. In one of the most disgusting shows of blatant racism, we find that the State of Florida will deliberately lower academic testing standards for Blacks and Hispanic children – ostensibly to keep their eligibility for various funding that depends on standardized test scores.   Florida sets education standards based on race, ethnicity New education standards approved this week in Florida set goals for public school student performance based on race and ethnicity — with lower benchmarks for African-American, Native American, and Hispanic students, and higher ones for white and Asian-American students. “We need a strong plan to support our dynamic education system,” State Board Chairman Gary Chartrand said in a statement announcing the approval of the state’s strategic plan for public schools and state colleges through 2018, which includes the new race-based benchmarks. “I am confident that these strategies and goals will put Florida on a path toward raising student achievement, improving educator quality, and expanding school choice,” he added.  According to the plan, Pre-K through grade 12 students will be assessed with their racial subgroups in mind “to reduce the achievement gap.” By 2018, 90 percent of Asian students, 88 percent of white students, 81 percent of Hispanic students, 82 percent of Native American students and 74 percent of African-American students are expected to be at-or-above grade level reading standards. Additionally, in the next six years, the state is aiming for 92 percent of Asian students, 86 percent of white students, 80 percent of Hispanic students, 81 percent of Native American students and 74 percent of African American students to be at-or-above grade level math standards. Economically disadvantaged students, students with disabilities and students who are learning English as a second language are exempt from the new benchmarks. The new system is designed to categorize and gauge racial academic performance, and does not affect individual students’ grades. Currently 76 percent of Asian students, 69 percent of white students, 53 percent of Hispanic students, 55 percent of Native American students and 38 percent of African-American students are at or above their grade level reading standards. And 82 percent of Asian students, 68 percent of white students, 55 percent of Hispanic students, 58 percent of Native American students and 40 percent of African-American are at or above their grade level math standards. Here is an offical state agency profiling a generation of Blacks and Hispanics – taking official note that this group of student is ethnically and racially inferior to others and must be given special affirmative action grading. Oh wait – this doesn’t affect the children’s actual grades, only the test scores that are reported to the government. Whoops! “My Bad.” It’s not about racism – it’s about corruption and money! It’s about unions using these very test results to claim they are educating our children, when it is obvious that they are lowering the test scores to make it seem like their teaching is effective. The State of Florida and the State Department of Education should be condemned roundly for this blatant show of venal racism. -- steve
