Boehner: “Problem With #ObamaCare Isn’t Just the Website, It’s the Whole Law”

NOVEMBER 3, 2013 | VIEW ONLINE

In this week’s Speaker Alert, we take a look at ongoing problems with the president’s health care law (higher premiums, canceled plans, broken promises), why Democrats are pushing for higher taxes (again), and a Congressional celebration of both a “man of the House” and the best friend America ever had.

IT’S NOT JUST THE WEBSITE

  • “It’s the whole law”: “The problem with ObamaCare isn’t just the website,” says Speaker Boehner. “It’s the whole law.” Boehner says the president sold his health care law on “a pack of lofty promises,” but “what he said simply wasn’t true.”
  • “Whopper”: President Obama’s famous pledge – that if you like your doctor or your health care plan, you can keep it – has been deemed a “whopper.” See what Republicans were sayingabout this promise as long as four years ago.
  • “He really didn’t mean it”: Check out and RT our new “Vine,” highlighting a CBS News report that says  “more than two million Americans have been told they cannot renew their current insurance policies…”
  • “System is down”: At the exact same time that Health & Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was telling Congress the ObamaCare “website has never crashed,” the site was inaccessible.

  • Democrats’ tax hike obsession: As budget talks get underway today, Congressional Democrats are wasting no time in launching another push for tax hikes that will hurt the economy and make it harder to create jobs.
